A small black she-cat with green eyes. Named for her bat-like face as a kit, Batflight is easily startled and a bit of a scaredy cat.
While her easily frightened nature and small stature make her a bit of a lousy fighter, she's a fantastic hunter, always bringing home plenty of prey for the freshkill pile. She doesn't much like getting her paws wet, but she will do anything for a taste of fish! She's very curious (some might say nosy), and always wants to know what's going on with every other cat.

Risingpaw // Her first apprentice, Batflight had been eager to train her, even if she had been reassigned on the tail end of her training. The shock of the apprentice dying days after her assignment left Batflight incredibly shaken. Palepaw // Her first real shot at mentoring, Batflight is determined to be the best mentor she can be to Palepaw, though she might be a little overeager coming off the tail of Risingpaw's death. Dreamingbloom // Batflight's friend! Dreamingbloom is always sweet to Batflight and looks out for her. Spending time with her always puts her in a good mood. Sweetbriar // Though a little unsettled by her uncanny ability to mimic the voices of others, Batflight enjoyed speaking with the young warrior at the recent gathering.

A dark ginger she-cat with a spiral patterned coat, white socks, and pale green eyes. Ripplepelt was named for the large spiral shape on her flanks, looking like a ripple in the surface of the water.
Ripplepelt is generally an easy cat to get along with, but can get quite prickly if you catch her in a mood! She's always happy to do her duties without complaint, but expects to be respected by her juniors, and it can get her hackles up if she feels disrespected by apprentices or young warriors. She's quick to defend herself if she feels threatened.
Ripplepelt greatly enjoys the everyday routines of clan life, and is always quick to volunteer for patrols. She's never had a litter of her own, but she enjoys spending time with the kits and apprentices, as long as they're respectful.

Adderpaw // After doing some battle training with Adderpaw, Ripplepelt was impressed by the apprentice's drive and eagerness. She's since spent plenty of time with her and has become incredibly endeared to her, willing to do whatever it takes to protect her. She's sure she'll soon be a warrior to make RiverClan proud, and when it happens, she'll be proudly watching on. Larkstar // Ripplepelt respects Larkstar because she respects RiverClan, but doesn't yet think much of her as a leader due to how many leaders seen come and go. She has high hopes that Larkstar will stick around and be the next great leader for their clan, but whether those hopes will come to fruition remains to be seen. At the very least, the young leader is no longer letting the clan walk all over her... Tansypaw // Tansypaw's drive and initiative have impressed Ripplepelt, and she respects the young medicine cat a great deal for persevering despite her lack of mentor. She'll be proud to see her earn her full medicine cat name. Springpaw // It's no surprise that the young cat earned a role as Lionheart so young - she's impressed Ripplepelt with her skill in battle and level-headedness in crisis. Blue Team - Sunsetpaw, Troutpaw, Frecklepaw, Lionpaw // After leading the young group of cats in the battle exercise, Ripplepelt feels proud of their progress, and will keep a watchful eye on them as they continue to train.

A small blue-gray she-cat with big green eyes and a scar down her face. Softsong was named for her soft coat and gracefulness.
Don't let her name or small stature fool you - Softsong isn't one to mince words. Her first priority is the clan, and she can't stand needless conflict - she's quick to snap if someone is sowing discord.
Softsong isn't the strongest or largest cat around, but her stealthiness, cleverness, and quickness more than make up for her size. She can best a warrior much larger than her as long as she keeps her wits about her, and isn't afraid of confrontation.
Softsong can be prickly when you first meet her, but once she warms up to you she's the most affectionate cat you'll ever meet, and will be the first to back you up when you're in need. She easily puts herself in moods, especially when she's hungry, and quickly regrets most things snapped while being a sourpuss - she ends up covering a lot of dawn patrols to make up for her sharp tongue!

Poppysong//When she was first assigned the boisterous apprentice, Softsong had her paws full, and her short patience tested daily! But as she grew to care for the cheery apprentice, she appreciated their enthusiasm and bright outlook. She made sure they were fed and well looked after when they got injured (maybe a little to the medicine cat's annoyance), until Poppypaw was well enough to continue their training and finally became Poppysong. Though she's no longer their mentor, the two cats still remain friends, and Poppysong brings out a lighter side to the often-moody cat. She still sometimes thinks of them as an apprentice in need of protecting. Bravebird // After their patrol in the tunnels together, Softsong considered Bravebird a fine, reliable warrior - if she hadn't taken the lead and doled out instructions, who knows if they'd have gotten out of those tunnels alive? After her seemingly unprovoked hostility at the Galewood, Softsong's feeling soured a little, and she gave her a wide berth. It wasn't until Bravebird sought her out and suggested sparring out their differences that they finally became friends - with matching scars to prove it.
Fallowpaw // Softsong's current apprentice. She's so far been impressed with her enthusiasm and eagerness to learn, though was a little disappointed when she never showed for a recent patrol. Hawkfur // After their patrol in the tunnels, Softsong respects Hawkfur for pushing past his fears and putting his injured clanmate first. He proved himself as a fine and courageous warrior. Littleshock // Disgusted by her suggestion of hunting down an exiled Cowtuft like prey, Softsong wants absolutely nothing to do with the young warrior. Though she's mature enough not to start any fights, she's not above finishing them (or the occasional dirty look). Twilightstar // Her leader. There is very little that would make Softsong speak out against Twilightstar, and very few things she wouldn't grit her teeth through anyway if her leader said it was the right thing to do. Her years in service of WindClan, doing nothing but right by them, have earned Softsong's strong respect and devotion.

A large grey tabby she-cat with green eyes. Named for her grey coat reminiscent of storm clouds. Trans girl.
Dumped on RiverClan territory by a twoleg along with her two littermates Crystal and Sky, Stormy did her best to keep her sisters alive. Within a few days of being dumped, Stormy found an abandoned fox den to keep warm in, but when the rain came, the den flooded. The kits did their best to escape, but Sky got trapped, leaving Stormy and Crystal half-drowned and shell-shocked. In the cold and wet, both surviving kits caught white cough, and Crystal's tiny size left her getting sicker and sicker, with Stormy in no condition to feed her or keep her warm. When they were found on RiverClan territory they were brought straight to the medicine den and kept there until their recovery, apprenticed late due to their illness.
Stormykit is a closed off cat at first, but she's very caring and loyal to those she's close to. She wants to become the strongest she can be to protect the youngest of her clan, and has a soft spot for black cats like her lost sister, Sky.
Due to losing her sister by drowning, Stormykit has a fear of water that she's determined to get over, and sometimes goes to self-detrimental lengths when trying. She never wants to be helpless in the water again.
Crystalkit // Her only remaining litter-mate, Stormykit is fiercely protective of him. Sky // Despite being a kit at the time, Stormy holds a huge amount of guilt for the death of Sky. She finds herself with a soft spot for black cats, especially kits. A tiny dilute calico with icy blue eyes. Crystalkit was named for her blue eyes with amber segments (sectoral heterochromia).
Crystalkit - then Crystal - was dumped by twolegs on RiverClan territory as a kit along with her larger litter mates, Stormy and Sky. After taking shelter in an abandoned fox den and barely escaping with her life when it flooded, Crystalkit's tiny stature left her much sicker than her larger sister, feverish and barely awake when they were discovered and brought to RiverClan. Even after recovering from greencough and joining the clan, Crystalkit is left chronically tired, and not as strong as his fellow apprentices, and therefore spends a lot of time in the medicine den for remedies, even after her recovery and apprenticeship as a warrior. He has a budding interest in the herbs used to treat herself and her clanmates, and is quick to volunteer for duties relating to the medicine den.
Crystalkit is a little off-putting to some, pointing out lies without much emotion, hanging around mostly at night, being blunt and often missing social cues, and echoing the words of others around him. She has a strange affinity for bugs and plants, though seems to have trouble remembering much else. There's something a little eerie about the way he stares, looking straight into cats eyes without breaking eye contact. If given the chance, Crystalkit is a thoughtful friend, paying close attention to the things that bother the cats she cares about and quietly doing anything she can to help. Stormykit // Her dearest sister, Crystal is endlessly impressed by Stormykit's strength and courage. While she can sometimes be overbearing, he's grateful for her big heart and protective nature. Stormykit often forgets to take care of herself, too worried about others, and Crystalkit is always there to set her straight and made sure she's taken care of. Sky // Her lost litter-mate, Crystal doesn't remember much of Sky - while he's sad she's gone, he doesn't feel her loss as keenly as Stormy does. Sometimes she finds herself unfairly resentful of her dead sister - if she were still here, would Stormy be so overbearing or self-sacrificing? Larkstar // Crystal doesn't remember meeting Larkstar when she took them to RiverClan camp to heal, but she's grateful all the same, if a little intimidated by the powerful she-cat. Tansypaw // He doesn't have much of an opinion on Tansypaw herself yet, but he is incredibly interested in all the plants she has in her den. Eaglekit // A new friend!

A fluffy white she-cat with gray patches and hazel eyes. Featherpaw was named for their feathery fur.
Featherpaw grew up with her father as her only parent, idolizing Valleystrike and wanting to make him proud. One of two kits in her litter, Featherpaw and Cloudpaw grew up as close as could be, constantly in each other's company.
When they find out about her parent's cross-clan relationship, she's furious - that she grew up not knowing a cat that was right across the border, that they were lied to for so long - and decides then and there to join ThunderClan instead.
Fernwillow // Her ThunderClan mentor, Fernwillow has been patient and kind to Featherpaw, and eased a lot of her worries about falling behind in her training. Cloudpaw // Their brother and best friend. Cloudpaw is incredibly dear to Featherpaw, and she would do anything to keep him safe. Once she moves to ThunderClan she misses his presence like she'd miss her tail. Whistlewing // Her whole life, Featherpaw wondered where her mother was. Desperate to get to know the mother she grew up without, Featherpaw crosses the border to join her clan. They're eager to impress her, and want to become the best ThunderClan warrior they can to do so. Valleystrike // Before she found out about Whistlewing, Featherpaw looked up to him as their only parent. Furious at him for keeping her a secret from them, Featherpaw refuses to speak to Valleystrike after learning the truth. She feels betrayed that he lied, and while she couldn't bear to ruin Cloudpaw's life by telling Dawnstar about Valleystrike's lies, neither could she bear to keep living in the same place as the liar.
Doeripple // Fawnkit is a huge mama's boy and tends to stay as close to Doeripple as possible - until he feels like he's missing out, and then he races after his siblings. Ryefur // father Bearkit // Fawnkit thinks Bearkit is the best thing ever, and wants to impress him, even if he doesn't get why he always wants to be Bearstar when they play clan. Meadowkit // Fawnkit doesn't quite understand why Meadowkit wants to do things like play in the rain or go out in the cold, but he doesn't want to miss out on anything fun! Silverkit // Fawnkit loves his tiny sister, and wants to follow her wherever she goes. Lambkit // His new friend! Fawnkit is glad to have a friend who will play as a warrior with him instead of wanting to be the leader or medicine cat all the time.

A three-legged black tabby with a white underbelly and brown eyes. Magpie was named after the bird for their black and white fur.
One of thirteen in their litter, Magpiekit sometimes thinks that whatever they do, someone else has already done first, and even if they do it first, someone will come along tomorrow and do it better. They don't mind it most of the time - they're content to play a supporting role in life.
Magpie is agreeable and supportive, sometimes to a self-detrimental degree. If someone needs a helping paw, Magpie is right there with four of them - but they never seem to ask for any help or support themself. They sometimes end up over-extending themself, ending up asleep on their feet when they volunteer for both the dawn and dusk patrols.
Plot: Magpiepaw starts their apprenticeship trying to be the best of the best - but with the family they were born into, they're playing an unwinnable game. Tired of trying and trying and never reaching their unreachable goals, Magpiepaw decides to stop trying - if they fail on purpose, at least no one can say they weren't good enough.
Magpie's apprenticeship goes swiftly downhill, and as their assessment approaches, it's starting to look like they'll be stuck as an apprentice. After a much needed heart-to-heart/proverbial kick-in-the-head from their parent/close sibling/mentor, Magpie snaps out of it and puts in the extra hours, just in time to pass their assessment and earn their warrior name. They still occasionally fall into old habits when the pressure gets too high, but Magpie is determined to make up for their messy apprenticeship, helping out in the clan wherever they can.
A large fluffy lilac bi-colour with blue eyes. Heatherfire was named for her colouring and fiery personality.
Formerly a championship show cat by the name of Dolly, Heatherfire grew tired of the drop in attention they got from their twolegs when a new baby came around and escaped out an open window. He came across SkyClan and joined, not quite aware of quite how much his life was about to change.
Heather is a little spoiled, used to having everything handed to her on a silver platter. The best way to get them to do something is to make it a contest - they're extremely competitive, and love a bit of friendly (or not so friendly) competition. He's not much for hunting, but his large size gives him an edge in battle, though he's still learning how to use it to his advantage. They're also a bit of a hypocrite - though they're somewhat lazy and spoiled, the same behaviour in other people leaves him incredibly annoyed, motivating him in turn.
Grimstar // Heather hasn't had much interaction with the leader, but he does seem to be the only cat around who does anything, so he's better than the rest in her eyes.
