Ruekit Eagerly Chose to Go to The Sunny patch. Oh, Look it! wasn't that the warrior Skybranch there two? cool!

Ruekit happily decided to follow the warrior, though she ended up tripping over a smooth rock... but goodness this was fun!

Cloverkit didn't want to get into any trouble, so he searched around for any queens he was familiar with. Spotting Skybranch, he trotted over to her near the sunny patch by the creek.

Ravenkit went to the dirt mound and her rper didn’t know what to really write so they wrote this.

Whiteheart shakily limped towards the Bramble Barrier. The safest place from foxes, of course.

Eggpaw wasn't any sort of expert on plants, but he was pretty sure that most of the key elements for one to grow would be the sunny spot by the creek. They would have water and sunlight. It was obvious that this was the most likely place to find the herb, whatever it was, and it seemed a few others had the same idea. So of course he wasn't going there.
That left the mound of dirt, the brambles and the pine tree. So far there was one, two and one cats respectively. He shrugged and went to stand with the kit at the mound. Hopefully this wasn't the elimination point.

Rounded ears perked as his estranged grandfather began speaking, Mousepaw did his best to not curl his lip in anger. He'd been getting better as time went on, as there were more cats he realized he disliked, in masking his ire. His distaste whenever he heard them speak. He was... not the best at it, truthfully. The apprentice had always worn his emotions freely. Still, a respectful scowl was probably better than an open sneer or snarl, he supposed.

Tail giving a small tap against his leg, the monochrome colored tom turned to Pip, the scowl instantly morphing to a grin. Despite the relation as both father and son as well as mentor and apprentice, Mousepaw knew better than to compare the black apprentice with the clan's medicine cat. They were wholly different individuals, no matter what either of the two might believe to the contrary. He certainly couldn't see Elmshadow giving Starry the time of day that Pip did, in any case. The gray shadow simply didn't care about others. Not in the same way Pip did.

"What do you think? What do you think, eh Pip? Flowers... um... flowers grow in sunny places, right? Flowers are herbs, right? Right? Maybe we should go to the sunny spot? What do you think, Pip, what do you think?" the muscular tom asked, tilting his head as he scrunched his nose, deep in thought.

His train of thought made sense to him, but he knew Pip would probably know better than him, what with having the medicine cat as a mentor... a better mentor than he'd been given, hopefully. Couldn't be worse than he was as a father, hmph. Already turning to go towards the sunny area and scout the place for flowers - and herbs, never forget the herbs - he kept an eye on Pip. He'd follow his uncool brother - okay, maybe using his sister's misspoken way of saying uncle was mean, no matter how funny it was - if he said otherwise. They were the unbeatable Mossy and Pip. They had to do this together, yep!

One With The Warren & Kitty Softpaws Purrk

Letting out a giddy, adrenaline-filled giggle, Starrypaw cast her bright gaze in Cloverkit's direction, warmth bubbling in her chest as she watched the little kit scramble after a queen. She had only spoken to Cloverkit once or twice, but if anything, Starrypaw already felt as if he was her own younger sibling. Someone to look after, for a change... So many cats tried to look after her that she was getting tired of it.

Watching everyone shuffle about for a moment, Starrypaw exhaled excitedly before hurrying after her younger brother former denmate to the sunny patch by the creek.

The dark medicine cat turned away and waited for the shuffling to slow to a stop. After what he determined to be enough time for all of the participants to find a place and search, without turning to look at the cats involved, he called out, "All cats who are at the bramble barrier, you're disqualified."

He turned and looked directly around the bramble barrier, spotting Leapmoon and Whiteheart, though their efforts hadn't been fruitless.

Moving his gaze over the remaining participants, he quickly turned his thoughts to the next round. Skybranch, Ruekit, Cloverkit, Mousepaw, and Starrypaw were down by the creek, Dippingpelt was by themselves at the pine tree, and Ravenkit and Eggpaw had chosen to search the dirt mound. That left Dogpaw, Lilypaw, Nightshiver, Tawnykit, Fireflykit, and Shallowshock having not chosen a place to search, but Elmshadow was undeterred, so far the event was turning into a success of collecting the herbs he needed collecting. "The next four places will be in the green patch, up the black oak tree, under the roots of the fallen tree, and on the fallen log."

- Sunny patch by creek: Burdock Root (1pt)
- Lone pine tree: Comfrey (2pts)
- Dirt mound: Yarrow (3pts)

- Fallen Tree Roots
- Fallen Log

Choose one of the four "corners". Elmshadow's next post will announce the herb at each location and which location will disqualify all who chose it.
Hint: Elmshadow will only be finding herbs he knows and all herbs are purposefully placed in the location they're to be found at. Points are assigned to an herb based on usefulness for Elmshadow.

Warriors and apprentices are welcome to join at any point, just hop in and pick a location.
**Kit joining is CLOSED** Any kits attempting to join who are not already signed up will be subject to IC punishment for leaving camp alone
Any kits who wander off or are seen outside of camp beyond this thread will be subject to IC punishment
