June Gathering

It had been a hot second since Wolfpaw had been in an environment quite as overwhelming as this - he had grown used to the business of ThunderClan, but he did not like having cats at all sides of him. The bright, cautionary orange scent of ShadowClan was thick in the air, which did not make this experience anymore comfortable. He hadn’t seen nor scented a ShadowClan cat since the attack that sent him to ThunderClan in the first place, and their presence now left him tense.

His name was called, and he realized Pebblepaw was talking, for stars know how long at this point, so he attempted to tune in and catch up on what he had missed. Something about sneaking out? Huh, he’d never considered it. He did think seeing the territory at night would be neat, but after getting lost during the camp move he wasn’t sure if he’d want to do it without a warrior - then again, his friends had lived in ThunderClan a lot longer, so surely he wouldn’t get lost if he was with them? This story did provide some insight as to why he was supposed to dislike Flameheart, which was helpful.

”I don’t think rock climbing is that different from tree climbing? They might be slippery though.” Wolfpaw shrugged as he attempted to answer Pebblepaw’s question. He had never tried to climb a rock, but his climbing lesson with Bumblestar had gone well enough, and rocks were generally much smaller than trees. Though, they didn’t have branches which might make it difficult.

Dawnbreeze looked down shyly, not knowing what to say.
As she did so, she saw Scalescar's tail creeping towards her.
With butterflies in her stomach she glanced up, and placed her sleek gray tail on his.
"I-I really like you to." She whispered.

Awe, no one wanted to come talk to the newly appointed apprentice. Pouting, the mackerel tabby irritably played in the sand with her paws, caking them with bits of sand. It wasn’t like the young apprentice had much to do, huffing a little as her eyes glanced around the dark clearing. So many cats were talking to one another, yet there was so many that wasn’t even talking to each other! Lame.

With a quick snort, the rather young molly abruptly stood up, flinging sand everywhere as she glanced around the clearing to look for someone to at least talk with. It could be another apprentice, another warrior, just anybody that won’t make her feel so dang lonely. A distinctive black-and-white pelt caught her eye, the black tabby whipping her head in the direction where a lonely apprentice sat, a rather large smug grin growing across the RiverClan apprentice’s maw. Bingo. Someone she could talk with and finally make herself not be so lonely.

With ease, the young molly excitedly ran herself in the direction of the other apprentice, the weird stench of pinecones eliminating off the black-and-white figure as Cormorantpaw grew closer. Was this what those creepy Shadow Kitties smelt like? Yuck! Twitching her nose, she trotted her way up towards the fellow apprentice and gave off a wide beaming grin. “Hi! I’m Cormorantpaw! I’m from RiverClan! Are you from ShadowClan? You smell like it. Is this your first gathering? It’s mine too! What’s your name?” She was happily bounding up and down, flinging bits of sand in random directions as she excitedly rambled out random questions and statements to the much older apprentice. Cormorantpaw was only at least around two moons old, after all.

Scalescar's cheeks began to look red as his tail touched dawnbreezes tail, had he eaten butterfliesor what... The tom purred at the whispered words dawnbreeze said.should I ask if she should be my mate? no no we've only been together throughout the day that be ridiculous, he thought to himself the taking a deep breath he fiddled his paws"I-I U-Uh Kinda w-want t-to b-be" he paused then trembling he choked out the word that had been in him since they met"m-my M-M-M-M" he stopped in shyness"M-M-Mate! m-my mate uh yes uh i mean no uh I-I mean uh do you uh wanna be my mate?" he asked in a very nervous tone.

Fireflame just sits their with ide eyes and a jaw dropped with surprise

Ashclaw who just got done with cliffjumper and cederpaw sat next to fireflame then looking at scalescar and dawnbreeze his jaw dropped after seeing their tail together.

“How about over there.”
She pointed with her tail towards a semi dry area near the edge of the clearing.
“It’ll be better than this.”
She gestured again towards her soaked pelt.
“I look like a black cat after all this rain!”
She wasn’t sure if her feeble attempt at a joke would cheer her friend up, but it was worth the shot!

Nightgaze yawned as she sat in the clearing , she was so bored nothing was really happening the small black she-cat gazed at the clearing with shoking, bright green eyes waiting to talk to someone.
