Originally, Moorpaw was a good apprentice and followed after the warrior that had been made patrol leader, but as they neared their border with ShadowClan, and a pungent and acrid smell hit her nostrils, her pawsteps faltered to a near stop as she looked ahead, squinting to get a better look at where the smell was coming from, but it was just a bit too far away for her eyes to make anything out. Obviously her sense of smell was better than her sight.
She shook her head and stuck her tongue out, only to regret the latter as the scent grew stronger as it hit her scent palette.
Sneezing, she looked to her party, to notice she was lagging behind, so she ran after them, her small form darting past the other two cats and pausing just ahead of them, tail slowly swishing behind her.
"Is ShadowClan supposed to be this smelly? It makes my nose tingle."

Leopardfire looks at them "A little bit yes smells like they have been here recently." she mews and looks at them @Abyssopelagic@effervescent.

Ryepaw quickly ran to catch up with his patrolmates, huffing just a little. "Sorry, Leopardfire!! I got distracted!!" He mewed rapidly. He sniffed the border, wrinkling up his nose in disgust. "Oh, yuck! This smells like straight crowfood!"

Leopardfire nods and mew "thats shadowclan for you." She mews looking at them and smiles. "No worries Ryepaw, it happens even to the best of us sometimes. Seems like other then that no shadowclanner has crossed our borders." she mews looking at them.

(We've been given an extension to the 25th, sorry I disappeared, I ended up having no motivation for the site for a few days)

Moorpaw gently sniffed at their border, edging just a little closer to the invisible boundary and sneezing when she caught an unusually strong whiff of it as a sudden breeze carried the other Clan's scent directly into her poor little nostrils.
She shook her head and headed back to the warrior and other apprentice.
"There's like almost no WindClan smell. Guess thats why patrols are sent to re-establish the borders?"
She..... knew this, actually, but she liked playing the role of a silly and dumb young cat. It made her feel normal.
It felt good to be normal, even if it was a bit of a lie.

The tomcats steps were light, The bengal turned towards his patrol mates. Even he was eager to get out of here now, he couldn’t speak for Vulturefang or Cloversun though. “Mark the border then report back to me. Windclan should not give us any issues, although if they do…you have my permission as patrol leader to attack. BUT Only for self defense, we have enough issues as it is. So please don’t play into any insults they may throw. Also, be on guard, Windclan spoke of a predator at the gathering so be prepared.” With that the tomcat stepped forwards towards the scent markers. Windclans were strong, freshly marked. All the reason for them to do the same.The tomcat began to pick the northern part of the border a began marking.
