appearance: winter is a pure white tom with fluffy, spiky fur. he has three brown freckles on each side of his face, one long, cinnamon brown sock on his front left paw, and bright yellow eyes. winter is average sized with long, lanky legs, but under his fur he looks a bit scrawny. his left ear is tipped with brown and unusually big, and his right one is torn off.
personality: winterpaw is a diligent and hard-working cat, never one to shirk responsibilities or misbehave. he’s clever, a quick learner, loyal to his clan and naturally quite skilled. he tries his best to be polite to cats both older and younger then him. although he doesn’t mean to seem cold, he can come off that way to some, since he doesn’t go out of his way to strike up conversation and isn’t the best at expressing his emotions. he doesn’t lie, especially not to make himself look better, but his honesty leads to bluntness when talking to his clanmates. he’s not very imaginative, so it can be hard for winterpaw to come up with games and stories. he often has trouble telling how others are feeling. the cat who raised winter in his mother's stead, despite only being a few moons older than winter himself. he thinks of smoky as a close companion. the older tom treats him... strangely, sometimes, and seems to not believe winter can handle himself. this, and smoky's hatred for windclan, causes tension in their relationship. despite this, winter still cares for him. he wishes he could understand smoky.

appearance: brownpaw is a pale, dusty brown she-cat with light brown, hazel eyes. her fur is fuzzy and curly, but not long. she is half laperm. brownpaw used to be a small cat, but now that she's fully grown, she's actually average-sized. her right hindleg is twisted and scarred from when she was hit by a monster.
personality: brownpaw is a kind, compassionate she-cat who wants everyone to be happy. she enjoys talking to others, and prefers to face things head-on, being naturally honest about her thoughts and feelings. she's not intimidated by others, and even the most terrifying, strict cats won't get her to cower. though she used to be very pacifistic, brownpaw's time outside the clan has forced her to fight others, and she's more open-minded about violence... though she'd prefer to avoid it. she has developed a harsher side to her after living on the streets and being betrayed by her close friend, feeling "hatred" towards anyone for the first time. despite this, she very rarely feels mad at anyone. she's also a bit of a klutz.
brownpaw is a very patriotic shadowclan cat, though she doesn't act very shadowclan-y, which makes her a black sheep of sorts. she can tell when someone is judging her or doesn't like her, but will still try and connect with them. now that she finally made it home, her goal is to become a warrior, and she'd do anything to stay.

appearance: a short-furred, pale gray she-cat with dull, periwinkle blue eyes. her fur is smooth and suprisingly soft. she's currently a small cat because of her young age, but compared to her peers is average-sized.
personality: stonepaw is a quiet and reserved apprentice. she doesn't talk much, or use many words, but has a deep (and often ridiculous) internal monologue going on inside her head. she has a hard time interacting with others, since in the past she felt isolated due to her health problems. stonepaw's deepest desire, one that she feels embarassed by, is her wish for companionship. she cares for others very much, and is empathetic despite her limited emotional experience. underneath her introverted exterior is a bubbly, anxious cat who enjoys spending time with her clanmates. stonepaw is quite sentimental, and can be moved by any cat who displays even a drop of kindness to her. she doesn't show it, but gets caught up in her emotions easily. despite being young herself, stonepaw finds kits cute, and views all older cats as cool. really, she has a default positive view of everyone.
stonepaw is determined to be a good apprentice, and one day become a warrior. she worries about falling behind or seeming "lazy," as she's prone to debilitating pain and exhaustion, so she's begun to ignore her limits. this hasn't had any major consequences yet. stonepaw accepts her disability as a part of her, but still wants to seem like a "normal" apprentice to everyone else, so she hasn't opened up about her struggles to anyone. even the medicine cats are unaware of the full extent, since it falsely appears as if she's gotten better since she was a kit, when the severity confined her to bed. along with difficulties in physical exertion, stonepaw experiences episodes of insomnia and intense sleepiness. her symptoms fluctuate, so on some days stonepaw can function like any other cat, and on others she can barely move from exhaustion. for the most part, she is currently managing fine.
(her condition ic is undiagnosed, but i have been using chronic fatigue syndrome for reference, so that's probably what she has.)
