Welcome to Character of the Month, a feature designed to recognize two characters who deserve kudos!

Using the form found at the bottom of this post, you may nominate two Main Roleplay characters you think deserved to be featured! Please use one form per character - they should not be in the same form.

For the sake of giving every character a chance, avoid nominating cats who have already been nominated for the month.

Empty "placeholder" posts that do not nominate a cat and exist solely for users to come back to and edit later are not permitted. Any "placeholder" posts will be deleted and the user fined 1,000 KK. (For more details, see this announcement.)

Nominations will be held for approximately 3 weeks, ending on the 22nd. Once it ends, a poll will be posted displaying the names of the characters who qualify for voting.

Users can vote for as many characters as they want to be recognize, provided it is not their own character. It is discouraged to vote for every character listed, as only two will win.

If two characters have the most votes, but they are roleplayed by the same person, the winner will be picked by staff based on the nomination reasons, and the second winner will default to the next highest vote.

The voting period will end on the last day of the month, and the results will be posted on the 1st of the new month.

Members who have nominated a character will have their username added to a raffle at the end of the nomination period. Three lucky members will be rolled by the staff team and receive 2,500 Koins! Previous winners will be eligible to win again after three months.

Before you nominate, please keep these in mind.

• Characters should have been roleplayed within the last two weeks of being nominated to avoid inactive characters being featured.
• You may not nominate your own characters, or advertise your characters to gain nominations.
• Characters used to violate a roleplay rule cannot be voted for the month they broke the guideline. They will be omitted from the final polling.
• Nominations must include an explanation of why the character deserves recognition. Posts that do not provide a reasoning will be removed. Additionally, be thorough in your evaluation of the character. Vague or thoughtless statements (e.g. "they're cool") will result in your nomination being discarded. We want to know why you think this cat deserves attention!
• You may nominate two characters, but avoid nominating characters who have already been nominated.
• A character who has won before may be nominated only after 6 months.

Why should this character be featured?: Hands down one of my favourite characters to read. The perfect mixtureof trauma and even more trauma, Hazycry is anyone's worst nightmare. Ijust adore the way she's written and I'm always clawing at the barrier between Cinder and myself.

Why should this character be featured?: Honestly there’s so much to love about Iris. She has a really interesting backstory which is also incredibly unique, not to mention she’s very well written. Every one of her posts feels very genuine and interesting, they’re always consistent too and it really makes her feel real. I look forward to every time she and Duskleaf interact, she really does deserve recognition

Why should this character be featured?: magpiecove is literally that one annoying younger relative you just cant seem to get rid of. lucky for her, she is quite entertaining to read and has wormed her way into my heart. i feel like i dont have a single character that likes her, but who would i be if i didnt enjoy a sharp tongued, overly confident spikeball of a cat.
besides the obvious appeal of a unique character like her (lets be honest, not everybody would dare write a mildly infuriating, seemingly egotistical cat over a long period), i really appreciate the consistency in which she is written and the doubt and change slowly creeping into her behaviour. she is a captivating read and marigoldwhisper does a great job in progressing magpies story in small, meaningful ways. not only did her behaviour change over the past 6 or so months, but we have been able to gather the reasons behind the way she is little by little without it being tedious or a 'tell dont show' type moment.

Why should this character be featured?: VERVAIN the girly, oh how i wish to grab her and protect her from all the worlds evils, star writes her so good and i hope she sticks around longer!

Why should this character be featured?: This guy is the sweetest boy ever! I just fell in love with him as soon as I started rping with him! I thoroughly am enjoying his relationship with Softsky, and can't wait to see what happens next in their relationship!

Why should this character be featured?: Where do I start? Dol does such a great job with this little girl! Rosekit is always a pleasure to read about and rp with! She's such a little know-it-all boss-girl with something to prove! And let me tell you, she is proving it!

Why should this character be featured?: What an absolute sweetheart! Stormwish is so well written as an affectionate parent. It brings me joy any time I see them interacting with their kits. Lovely, sweet, and gentle, Stormwish has been so great to interact with, they deserve all the love and affection they give!
