Backstory:
Spider couldn't have it worse. After he was born the cats that lived near him in Twolegplace would bully him and push him into water, watching him and encouraging him to stop swimming and just drown. His father, Bear, would watch, not bothered by the bullying and, sometimes, would even join in if he was bored. Spider, even from a young age, knew his father nor the neighboring cats wanted him around. After he was old enough to fight back, he got into a fight with his father and a bully, ending up in his ear being torn off by the bully, and his father giving him a last bite onto the ripped off ear to punish him for fighting with him. This resulted in Spider running away, where he found himself living for a very small amount of time as a starving loner until he was found by a ThunderClan Warrior named Wolfhowl. At this point Eclipse had taken to his father and bully's behavior as something he was able to do freely; why would anyone punish him for bullying him if his own father didn't punish the bullies at Twolegplace. Unfortunately, after he was caught a few times for bullying the kits even after being made an Apprentice not too long ago, he was chased off into ShadowClan territory. He feels comfortable in ShadowClan now, since he sees the cats around him also being rude, which he's used to.
