Maybe last time Adderstrike had pushed Stonepaw a little too much. Only when she went to bed that night after training did she remember that Stonepaw had been a sickly kit. It was embarrassing for sure but these were mistakes that she would learn from. Hopefully there was some good that was gained from this, that being Stonepaw got a little stronger, gained a little more stamina. Tomorrow she would go easier and she could think of a perfect training for her apprentice.

“Come on Stonepaw, we’re leaving!” Adderstrike chimed into the apprentice’s den in the morning. Not at the crack of dawn like usual, Stonepaw deserved a little more sleep last night. And she didn’t give much more information than that. It was time to go out to the world at large!

Strategically Adderstrike picked a nearby river that she knew was decent with prey before stopping and looking at Stonepaw with a warm smile. “Alright here we are! Surprise! We are fishing!” She then let a few chuckles out. “Sorry my favorite prey is trout so I’m a little excited myself. Do you have any ideas on how one would go about hunting fish? And no you don’t have to demonstrate your ideas, it cold and the waters colder.” And she was sure she would get in trouble if she got Stonepaw a cold for no reason.
