Mosstangle

Mosstangle sat by the entrance of the camp as she took a break from patching the walls of the camp. Her focus? Solely on an annoying splinter that had managed to lodge itself in between her pawpads. The tip of her tail twitched with distaste at the annoying pricking sensation she got every time she managed to make progress with the splinter.

Finally, with a quiet growl, the large tabby managed to pull the splinter free from her paw. She spat it onto the ground and carefully groomed her paw, checking just in case there was another splinter she had missed. She could still taste the sap that had taken days to get all the way out of her pelt after her failed hunt.

Ravenfeather sat in the corner of the camp listening to the other cats and,
watching, he gave himself a couple licks. He then heard a low growl, and saw a she-cat eating her paw...? Wait no she was getting something out, he realized when she spat whatever it was on the ground. He walked over to her and asked, "What was that? And are you okay?".

Mosstangle's ears perked up and she looked over at the tom. Oh, what was his name? How embarrassing, Mosstangle was usually better with names. "Hm? Oh, yeah, I'm fine. It was just a splinter," She explained, jabbing at the small thorn, but it had already disappeared into the dirt and grass. "I got it when I was patching a hole in the camp wall. I swear by starclan, that wall has so many holes! I don't think we'll ever patch them all."

Mosstangle

Mosstangle chuckled a bit. "Yeah, it would be nice to get some help." She stood and looked back at the wall, then at the pile of thorny gorse and bramble she had collected throughout the morning. "I think I have all the supplies we need to finish up, just have to weave it all into the walls. How about I pull these apart and you start weaving?" She said before tugging at some of the brambles, carefully using her teeth and claws to pull pieces apart without getting jabbed by thorns again.

Oh the relief! The tom asked her name first, which meant that Mosstangle didn't have to feel rude. "Mosstangle, and you?" She asked as she detangled a particularly problematic bit of bramble.

Mosstangle

Mosstangle looks up from untangle the last of the bramble and takes in the patches made to the wall. "Huh, I think you're right!" She padded over to the wall and helped Ravenfeather weave the last couple of patches before sitting back and taking in their handy work.

"That was much easier with your help, Ravenfeather," She purred. "Thank you."
