Basic Information

Talonpaw is the son of Daisybird and an unknown tom, and brother to Ashkit, Emberkit, and Daykit. He doesn't remember any of them as they went missing shortly after he was born. Talonpaw died at two moons old because he left camp in the middle of leafbare. He blames Snakeheart for his death because the tom yelled at him, telling him the reason his parents and siblings were gone was because of him and that StarClan made a mistake when he was born. The reason was because Talonpaw (then Talonkit) wanted to know why Snakeheart smelled and looked like a she-cat even though he was a tom.

During his brief stint in StarClan he tried to inform Skystar and Snowleap about Snakeheart's behavior, and despite promises to do something about it neither of them did. Eventually Snakeheart disappeared, and Talonpaw is still bitter that nothing was done. These feelings caused him to connect with Fawnlight in her dreams, and she led to him where his body was buried so he could resurrect himself. Unfortunately, he resurrected when dogs had destroyed RiverClan's graveyard and were attacking camp. He managed to make to RiverClan camp where Tinystorm threw himself in front of the chihuahuas that were chasing him, saving his life.

Shortly after his resurrection he became an apprentice under the rule of Beanstar with Tinystorm being his first mentor. Unfortunately, Tinystorm was killed by a fox before he could train Talonpaw. Talonpaw was never assigned another mentor, and disappeared from RiverClan shortly after a large flood destroyed their camp.

Talonpaw returned to RiverClan shortly after Birdsnow became leader, entering camp without going through the proper rejoining process. No one noticed this, causing Talonpaw's faith in adults to plummet even further. From Birdsnow all the way to Fadingstar, Talonpaw spoke out against the leaders but was ignored or belittled every time. During this time, WindClan, ThunderClan, and ShadowClan all attacked RiverClan and drove them out. RiverClan stayed in the mountains during these times, and Talonpaw fell off a cliff when he took a walk at night due to his constant nightmares of the past. He broke his leg, but was found by twolegs and taken to their home where he recovered. He soon escaped, returning to RiverClan under Stormstar's leadership where she assigned herself as his mentor. Unfortunately, she too passed away before he could gain any training, and he currently has no mentor.
