Midnightsplash sat silently as she watched cats come and go. It didn't matter to her. Nothing mattered to her anymore. Everything was dead. Every cat was dead on the inside. What did life want with her? She sighed, continuing to stare ahead.

Juniperberry had been camping outside of territory since he saw that damn light. Was he going to leave forever? Stars no! But was he going to bare whatever punishment that starclan had for Riverclan? Hell no! He wasn't stupid! He poked his head out of his burrow at the smell of another cat. She was just sitting there. He stood on heavy yet silent paws and stalked up to this mystery cat. "Hey, you keeping yourself safe from that light too? I'd recommend you do." He said once he was uncomfortablely close.

Midnightsplash whipped around as she heard the voice of another cat. Juniperberry. What the hell was he yowling about? She narrowed her eyes suspiciously and lashed her tail. What light? She growled. This cat might be one of her own clan, but clanmates attacking clanmates was like a ritual here in RiverClan. And who cares about what you recommend? She added with a hiss, crossing her paws.

"Oh, you must've not been there. It was like this blinking ray of sun in the sky, slashing through the clouds..." Juniperberry paused, realizing how crazy he sounded. "Look, I know how much of a lunatic I sound like. But hell, you can ask Owlstar, or Irisdream! They saw it! Most of the clan did! It's either two leg stuff or- the real answer... Starclan giving us a sign. Because somehow the starcave collapsed! Do you know where I'm going with this?"

Midnightsplash let out a grunt of disgust, lashing her tail. Alright, and so what? StarClan's sending us a sign, and you're hiding? She growled, narrowing her eyes. That's what a coward does, not a warrior. She spat, flexing her claws. So instead of you telling me to come into hiding, I suggest you come back to camp and be a real warrior. She hissed, glaring at him with dark amber eyes.

Juniperberry rolled his eyes and sat up straight. "Please, they won't even miss me, probably. But I'm keeping myself safe by being here, definitely. It's not like I won't ever come back! I'll be back in a little bit." He rambled, staring at the ground. "L-Look, I'm not a coward, I'm smart, and safe."
