Nighty opened their eyes into a strange new world, dark trees crowded up to a starless sky, so cold and unwelcoming, so unlike anything they have seen before. They were in a clearing, surrounded by curling mists and towering trees.

Nightpaw instinctively unsheathed their claws, lowering themselves down as they bared their teeth, bright green eyes darting around.

What a shame, honestly, they could cry her a river! She was getting more adventurous. Day by day, night by night. As she met with her own kin, she was branching to those who were easily deceived. This one would be quite the grand experiment! An immediate antagonizing action. It simply made the corner of her lip twitch up into a smile. “Relax, young one. Nothing is here to hurt you.” She cooed, her silver tongue was easy to trust. The sky fox stood tall, her power was evident. At least in her own realm.

Nighty blinked, eyes wide as those green press stared is fear at Vixen, but her words made them visibly relax, slowly standing up.

Who are you?” Okay- maybe she already knew the answer to her question, but she had to study the apprentices behavior.

Nightpaw wasn't too shocked about the whole dreaming thing, the fear turning into curiosity, they looked around, bright emerald eyes turning towards Vixen. The clan's and the stars went against her..?

An unfair shame? More like the most disgusting.

They looked at Vixen, studying her intently. The way her pelt moved, like a fox, single-pawed death.

"Nightpaw, or Nighty. Why would starclan and clans damn you to here? You don't seem evil."

Good, good. You don’t seem evil. The apprentice was feeding into Vixens lies! Well…not entirely. She wouldn’t be truly bad if she didn’t get sent here. But no, she was cursed in life for no reason and she did things she couldn’t control…she spiraled. The Stars didn’t take that into account, it’s like they never liked her, since the day she was born to the day she died. Her own kin seemed to have retched luck as well. Goodness, what did her bloodline do it deserve such curses? Was it the ancestors before her time? Who knows. But how plain dumb. “I don’t entirely know myself. But they made it so I saw…and heard things that weren’t there. My…my whole world was distorted but nobody knew. Nobody cared too. They thought I was ill or insane…it was never my fault.”
