Firefly ♣ They / It ♣ Outsider

It was a rainy day, at least it felt like a rainy day. Whether it actually was, was a mystery to Firefly. Their eyes fluttered open, a pit in it's stomach. The strange pelted cat pushed itself to their paws. Today felt... odd. Almost as if some part of them had died.

Firefly pushed their way out of the den that it shared with it's twin. Opposite twin? It was weird, they were identical but... different. Looking as if they were the same cats combined despite this being impossible. It glanced back toward it's sibling, they'd spent majority of their days together from birth. At this point Firefly couldn't imagine a life where they weren't with their littermate. It blinked slowly before turning it's attention back out of the makeshift den.

The strange cat quietly took a few steps out before sitting, it's eyes drifting shut before it took a deep breath in though their nose before exhaling gently through their maw. Once more Firefly blinked it's eyes open, staring out silently into the forested territory that bordered Thunderclan. Their whiskers twitched, something was calling to it. It was the same as that nagging feeling of loss. What is going on? It didn't understand the feeling and that... frustrated it...

The warmth that had been provided by their sibling faded as they stood and walked away, leaving Valley curling into themselves slightly more. He felt it too, though. As much as she wanted to avoid it, sleep off the nagging in their chest that mimicked loss of something he never really had. So he ignored it. Valley eventually woke shortly, after Firefly. The chimera (if she could be called that, really a strange pelt on this one. ) tilted their head curiously at it, standing to their paws and stepping out of the makeshift den, planting themselves next to his twin and butting their shoulder playfully. "What're you doing out here? The weather looks so..blegh." They asked, their tone playfully despite the gloomy..vibe of everything right now. Valley turned to face their sibling, giving them a grin.

FIREFLY ♦ IT / THEY ♦ OUTSIDER

Firefly was silent as it's sibling approached, it's gaze fixed on the forest ahead "Something calls to us" The strange cat said simply, it's cream tail tip flicking as they continued "Something is wrong but we don't know what. It bothers us-" The chimera outsider furrowed it's brows before shaking their head "The weather doesn't bother us. We enjoy the rain, it's not that heavy anyways." they commented, flicking an ear.

Finally Firefly turned to face Valley, gracing their littermate with a friendly smile before gently nudging their cheek with it's nose.

"Did we wake you?" They asked, tilting their head curiously as they looked over it's sibling "We tried to be quiet but we aren't very quiet... yet." It said with a hum turning back toward the direction it'd originally been pulled to. The feeling lessened... but something still remained.

Valley let out a hum at her siblings words, explaining the feeling. A longing wasn't how Valley would have described it, but, maybe she was just going crazy and feeling something entirely different. A joke, but still. Something felt off. "Ah, well I'm glad it's not weather, I don't I could survive with you not liking the rain. It would simply be a tragedy." They teased, whiskers twitching with amusement.

Valley softened his smile as Firefly turned to face him, nudging his cheek with it's nose. She let out a small purr, tail flicking softly.

"Yeah, but I don't mind. Sleeping isn't for me anyway. You weren't being loud." They chuckled, ears twitching at the feeling of the rainfall. That was something him and Firefly didn't have common. The rain? Wasn't his style. It weighed down his coat, and it was cold. But, they supposed why their twin could like it. It was kinda relaxing.
