Hollyhawk hummed softly as he lay pressed against Appleleaf. They'd asked him to be their mate upon returning after being grabbed by two-legs. Their tails entwined as they listened to the clan meeting, new warriors, Fleet, Ash and someone else. His brows furrowed as he heard Fleet's name in a familiar voice, was that...?

Holly pushed himself to his paws as he rushed over to his sister, headbutting her shoulder affectionately "Stars Falls- You had ma and I so worried" He murmured before stepping back, his bright green gaze scanning her for any serious injuries.

When he decided she was safe enough he relaxed, at this point Appleleaf was approaching them.

Appleleaf watched curiously as Hollyhawk rushed over to Fallensky, oh! she was back and safe! That's good! The russet warrior slowly rose to her paws before padding toward the siblings, greeting Fallen with a wide smile "Welcome back Fallensky!" She saif with a soft purr as she pressed against Hollyhawk's side, her gaze sweeping between Holly and his sister. He'd never really interacted with Fallensky before but Holly had talked about her a lot, but she seemed nice enough.

Fallensky's eyes lit up as she heard her brother's voice. Her ears perked, she rushed over to meet him, pressing her fur against his. Holls! Oh Stars! I missed you! She exclaimed, purring as she touched her nose to his shoulder. She turned to Appleleaf, furrowing her brows. She didn't really know the warrior, but she was glad that they had said something to her. Why were Appleleaf and Hollyhawk so close together? Were they mates? What had happened while she was gone? Holls... She blushed, blinking apologetically at Appleleaf. She didn't want to cause embarrassment to anyone. Who's this? I mean, I know his name's Appleleaf... But... She broke off, squinting.

Holls face heated up at the question. He hadn't told anyone that he and Appleleaf had gotten together officially, so the words felt foreign to him. Hollyhawk glanced at Appleleaf then back to his sister

"Well as you know ma mentored Apple, we trained together a couple times and have been friends for... well as long as any of us have been friends-" He was rambling for the most part, humming softly in thought before continuing.

"We went out hunting while you were exiled... that's where Apps got grabbed by two-legs- I thought-" His breath caught in his throat as the thought of losing Appleleaf once more crossed his mind "I thought we'd never see each other again... but they made it back. I think they said all of one thing to me before asking me to be their mate" He said with a gentle laugh, nudging Appleleaf's cheek with his nose.

Appleleaf felt a twinge of embarrassment clawing at her as she shifted closer to Hollyhawk, her face heating up as she held a somewhat nervous smile replacing her previous more confident one as Holls began to explain their relationship. He intertwined his tail with Holly's, relaxing visibly as he mimicked their action, a quiet purr rose from their throat.

"You can't be telling me Holls has never talked about me?" She teased, dramatically placing the back of her paw to her forehead with a playful flick of her tail
