I need help (religion)

Hi! first of all, thanks for helping. So basically I've been an athiest my entire life, my parents are athiests and so is my brother. Slight issue- I think I might be christian??? I think God is real, I think Jesus was real. But I never had a religion although I always wanted to. I questioned about it before and told my dad but he thought it was weird so I just dropped it and never said anything again. But I never really concluded I just kinda... stopped thinking about it so I wouldn't have anymore panic attacks. My parents have also always been mean toward religion and made nasty remarks and jokes about it which I think is really mean. So i'd be scared to tell them. I can't bring myself to make such a quick change and I'm really scared that if I did God wouldn't accept me because I was blasphemous (didn't believe in God) idk anyone got some advice?

I wanna also know the main sins bc... i've never even touched a bible. I don't even know whats in a bible.

i dont have advise but i support what your doing (being a muslum helps me understand your pov since christiananity and islam are fairly close) i hope your famliy dosent bash you because you are religious and have a good day (or night for me)

im not religious myself but i have a keen interest in theology. i can assure you that God should accept everyone, especially those that found their way to Him without external pressure. everyone is Gods child etc.
religion can be comforting and in my opinion, you dont need to attend church or own a bible to hold that belief. there are documents of the bible freely available online and i assume you can find bible study guides etc on youtube.
dont rush into anything, take your time, feel things out. there is always time to face a potentially stressful conversation with family at a later time.

God loves everybody if you’re worried about seeing him seeing you as blasphemous you could always repent which just means turning away from your sins. It says that he washes you white as snow. I personally don’t believe that he would hold that against you. Honestly, I think he would just be happy that you’re home. I’ve been raised in Christianity so take everything I say with a grain of salt in the end it’s your choice God gave us free will if you’re wanting to learn a bit more you could always download the Bible app and do a Bible study. I’m sure there’s a couple of Christians on this site as well if you ever want to reach out to any of us, I remember there was a Bible study that was happening through PMs. I didn’t join, but I remember it. I’m always open to talk if you need it @Starcrossed
