[solo] there's just one thing you need to do, and you didn't
TW: DEATH
Airy
male - he/him | silk spinner | apathetic and detached | 25 moons
- @/sturgeonwind -
Airy watched. The spider was fighting the beetle. And then the beetle was dead within a few seconds! Wow, that spider was amazing. He giggled, before returning it to the pouch. That one was too dangerous to let roam around. Suddenly, a cat appeared? Oh. They looked young. "Hi. Um. Mister. I'm Caterpillar... an' uh... I was wondering if I could stay here for a bit?" He paused. Stay here? Sounded... fine enough. He looked at them, scanning them over. "Sure." he meowed. Caterpillar smiled and they looked at Airy. "An' who are you?" they meowed. "Uh... I'm Airy. And... I like... bugs." he replied. He put the pouch down on the dirt pile he left. "Don't... touch that. It's... got a... dangerous bug in... it." he meowed. Cautious for their safety. They shook their head. "Mister Airy, I don' think tha' bug can do me, the great Caterpillar, ANY harm. Just watch me!" they meowed, pridefully, and grabbed the pouch, opening it. The spider crawled out. "It's tiny! How could this hurt me?" "You... don't want... to learn that... I hope." He wasn't sure what the spider would do, but considering how easily it killed the other bugs, he doubted it would be any good for cats. Caterpillar giggled, letting the bug crawl onto their front leg. And it bit down after they started dancing around. "Ow.." they said, before stumbling to the ground, shaking, and then suddenly, they were dead. Oh. Oh gosh. That wasn't very hospitable of him. Oh well, their fault, their problem. He didn't really care. Taking great care and using a stick, he shoved the bug back into the bag. He wasn't going to touch that thing directly ever again. He dragged the dead body away. And left it to rot.
