Jaynose nodded. ”It is, isn’t it?” Then she splashed deeper into the stream, letting the cool water droplets settle on her whiskers. She sent a sly look back at Creekripple and used her tail tip to splash water onto his shoulder.

The young tom let out a rather embarrassing squeak and sent Jaynose a playful glare. "No fair!" He laughed. A mischievous smile quickly took over his face, however, and he crashed a paw into the water, sending the water onto Jaynose's back.

"That's a cool tree. I mean it's like half dead and some of the leaves are kinda poop colored but it's still pretty cool, yknow?" Spiderpaw stared at the tree sort of aggressively, even though it wasn't meant to be aggressive, but it wasn't meant to be super passive, it just wasn't meant to really be anything, except, like, a usual stare.

She nodded sort of okay-ish-y at the tree before walking over to another one. This one was less dead, and had nicer leaves, but some were still poopy. "Whaddya think about this one?" She hovered, standing still in her place, as she studied the tree. It wasn't, like, amazing, but it was a pretty solid tree. Well, all trees were pretty solid, but this tree was solid. She liked it enough to spend a minute pawing at the bark, not strong enough to actually break or move any of it but just so she could feel the texture of the tree.

It felt like... bark. She hadn't expected anything else, though it'd be pretty cool if a tree had bark that felt like fur or something. The idea of it seemed cool, at least, though if she ever saw a tree with fur she'd probably burn it and leave since that was weird.

"Looks like there's somethin on one o the branches. I'm not tall enough to fully see though.... hm~ Wonder what it is. Are yall tall?????? er than me???" She looked back at them, sizing them up. In any case.. the tree beat them all in height in general.

Jaynose laughed as the cool water splashed onto her. Then she ducked under the water. When she surfaced, she pushed her paws to shoot water straight at Creekripple, soaking his neck and chest. ”Splashing without warning is completely fair, I’ll have you know!” Jaynose couldn’t help loudly laughing.

"Says you!" Creekripple laughed, blue eyes gleaming once more. He ducked underwater for a few moments before reappearing next to Jaynose, soaking her back and face. He couldn't help but laugh ahain, feeling a childish glee wash over him.

Blizzardstorm was at the riverbank. On the way there, she had put down a scent trail for Reedpaw to follow. She had shown Reedpaw her collection of rocks and shells, and Reedpaw asked her about where she found them. So, she told the apprentice that most of the shells were found at the river and told Reedpaw to follow her. Blizzardstorm sat down on the soft sand, waiting for Reedpaw to come.

He ran over to Blizzardstorm, skidding to a stop in the sand, blue eyes shining. "You smell like shells!" He blurted out, before looking at the river. "Can we find shells here?"

Blizzardsorm purred. "Yes, sometimes. Most of the best shells are under the water, but first I'll show you how to find them on land." she said. With those words, she started digging in the sand, the sand flying everywhere. When she found a pretty pebble or rock she liked, Blizzardstorm put it aside and continued digging. "You do it like this. Most of the old shells are deep under the sand, because the water pushes more and more sand onto the old sand, and the shells get covered. Now you try to dig!" she told Reedpaw. Then her paw stuck something hard. Using her claws, she scooped out the thing. "Eee! Look! I found a white clam shell! Sometimes you can find a small, white, round rock called a pearl inside, but this one is empty. I can give it to you, I have many clam shells already." she said to Reedpaw.

"Whoa!" Reedpaw gasped, marveling at the shell. It was so pretty! "Thanks!" He then moved over and joined in digging the sand. While digging, some sand landed on his nose, and he let out a kitten sneeze, shaking his head and continuing to dig. After a few moments, he struck something hard. Scooping out, he gasped at the shell. It was a very pale blue color, around the size of his paws, and was all swirly! He grabbed it and showed it to Blizzardstorm. "Look! Look!"
