Larkstripe wandered beyond the reed barrier, stepping lightly across the powdery sand of the riverbed. He often tracked the river upstream to be alone when he wasn't hunting or on patrol--the peculiar warrior had always enjoyed time spent in solitude by the river. He glanced across the white capped rapids, where WindClan territory expanded beyond the opposite bank in vast rolling hills. He often wondered what his upbringing would have been like, had he been born and trained in his father's Clan. He pushed the thought aside, and trotted across the bank to a down oak, and perched upon the scaly bark to groom his slender paws.

Leopardpaw padded through the territory, hoping to find something to impress Fennelheart with. He needed to prove he was a good warrior and hunter if he wanted more attention from her. She was always preoccupied. Probably came with having two apprentices. He sighed. Soon, he approached the river, and peered in between the reeds, trying to spot a fish. A noise caught his attention and he looked up to see a RiverClan tom grooming further down the river. He went over, a little nervous. He wasn't very good at making friends. "Hi! I'm Leopardpaw." Then he winced. That was way too excited and kit-like.

Larkstripe’s ears perked, and turned to see the apprentice st the base of the fallen oak. The sleek ginger Tom raised his tail in greeting; “Hello, Leopardpaw—I’m Larkstripe.” He introduced. His voice was soft and cool, and his elegant features were benign and curious.

Ok, so it was a little creepy that this cat was treating her like some kind of...old wise cat, but it WAS nice that someone actually listened to (and seemingly appreciated) her opinions. Still, Splashleap had contained her mischievous spirit for FAR to long already because of the seriousness of the question, and this seemed like the PERFECT opportunity to let a jot loose. Her nose raising high into the air, she sniffed haughtily before mewing in a high, convoluted voice You're welcome, you're welcome. Your respect of the great Splashleap has been noted. And.......moment over. Her next utterances were dissolving rapidly into a soupy muss of giggles, her tail, ears, and just about everything in between twitching with laughter. @Larkstripe

Larkstripe let out a rumbling purr of amusement, “Well, I’ve never claimed to be wise myself, so your musings are far better than anything I could offer.” He quipped, stretching languidly and flexing his claws into the aging bark.

OK, something was definitely wrong with Dogflame. How could he not eat for days. Lotusheart pushed Beck the prey.

Well, at least he got the joke! She didn't really want to have ACTUALLY offended him, or made him believe she was super smart. Because she was not. She was just very good at forcing warriors to train her, so she had become a warrior fairly early, despite her mentor's.........lameness. Knowing her giggles had COMPLETELY ruined any hope she had of keeping up the charade, she stretched next to him, mirroring his motions. It had been nice talking, but she thought she might want to go do SOMETHING with Stripepaw. Her ears twitch a little in.......embarrassment? Awkwardness? Splashleap mewed slowly Would you.......mind if I left? I want to force my apprentice to attack crabs. @Larkstripe

Larkstripe twitched his whiskers in amusement, “Not at all, have fun tormenting your apprentice.” The ginger tom mewed.

With a last wave of her tail and a purr of See you around! Splashleap bounded off, to make Stripepaw either miserable or a formidable squasher of crabs.

Koisplash let her lips part in surprise: after all it was rare for a kit to go outside before their apprentice ceremony. "Well then. Today we're going to see another side of RiverClan territory!" She replied without ceasing her steps. "And while we're out here exploring, we might aswell bring something tasty back to the camp." The molly smiled gently while keeping an eye on their surroundings: she didn't want to stray too far from the camp - some hunting would do for their first training.
