Splashfury nodded at Sootclaw’s words while continuing to catch up so she could reach 10 paw steps to find the prey around. She also dropped into her crouch to get to work. Sniffing around, she scented mouse and an unfamiliar prey scent. Dropping down and trusting her ears, she sprang to catch a mouse. Surprised that she was able to catch one in the dark, Splashfury dragged it along.

Hearing Splashfury as he found his own prey . Sootclaw snook up on the mouse and sharpened his claws , on his fifth paw step he pounced on the rodent only to have it in his jaws a second later. Nose twitching he found the same scent that Splash did, he cocked his head a bit and sniffed about "you smell that? " in his opinion it didn't smell too great.

Quailsnap rolled his eyes, flicking his tail-tip behind him. Why were apprentices these days so stupid? Or was it just this one slandering the apprentice stereotype? "I know how to swim." He meowed defensively, turning his gaze away from the apprentice. His stink was starting to clog Quailsnap's nose. "It's just a bit hard to do it when you have to relearn to do it without sight." The tom scrunched his nose as he turned back towards the apprentice, ears flattening against his head. Did the cat not see that, very clearly, he was blind?

She ignored the fish as it flopped away, more focused on the clanmate she accidentally assaulted with a fish. Carefully padding up to him, her head was held low and ears folded backwards. "I'm so sorry- I didn't mean to throw the fish at you. I- I really hadn't realized you were there."
Flyfur took a deep breathe and made herself calm down. "Would you like help up?" It was, quite literally, the least she could do considering it was her fault. She was already moving to help him up.

Quailsnap lay on the ground, his vision soon shrouded with a grayer blob in front of him, who he assumed was the she-cat who'd assaulted him with the fish. He wondered for a moment if this clanmate was blind as well, how could she have not seen him there? He was like a sore in the middle of the landscape! But he didn't recall meeting anyone in his clan who was also blind.... unless he hadn't realized it.... no. He was pretty sure his memory was still good and working well. Though it could be faltering by this point, who knew?
The tom wanted to refuse any help up, but he was swiftly pulled to his paws by who he realized was a much larger she-cat then him. It wasn't surprising actually, most of his clanmates were larger than him. He didn't exactly have any "fluffy" or "muscular" genes running in his family. "Uh, thanks." He replied once he was securely back on his paws, giving the feline a nod in gratitude. Even though she had been the one to land him on his back in the first place. "Fish can be quite slippery, huh?" He meowed with a small laugh, trying his hardest to place a name to her scent. But ugh... It was ridiculously hard. There was nothing about her scent that screamed any name at him. He'd always been good with faces. So now, here he was, knowing this was a clanmate who knew him, and he couldn't put a stinking name to her.... scent. What a great socializer he was.

(Yay! I gonna make one smack straight into Splashfury’s face hehe)

Splashfury focused on the weird scent from earlier. “Smells like a plant that had been rotting for weeks with some damp scent as well...what do you think?” Splashfury replied as some of her words echoed.

Trying to focus her eyes in the darkness, she made out very tiny outlines of fuzzy looking rocks hanging on the ceiling. She never thought rocks could be furry.

Hmm. An odd descriptor ears flicking the tom gave a chuckle "I'm with you on that , I can't describe it any better . It STINKS! " he meowed with a small laugh. Hearing what sounded like a squeak Sootclaw shrunk back a bit and folded his ears and started to see the same shapes Splashfury did. ..did Fawnsqueek slip me something when I was sleeping as a cruel joke? he let out a threatening hiss.

Frostpaw gave him a quizzical look but did as he said and put her paw in the sun "i...its warming up! almondbush its warming up!" she smiled and stepped more into t he sun enjoying its warmth.

Almondbush purred in amusement. "Now you want to use your paw to move away from the sun, so that your shadow doesn't cast over the river." , he meowed. When her paw got a little colder that would be where the sun wasn't shining.
