Sparrowfur purred, doing her best to mask her nervousness.
"Thank you, Sourpaw." She gave a gentle boop on her forehead. "I'm sure to fight well now! First thing we do when I get back is some battle training."
She had to live through this. There was so much more than just her pride on the line. She had to see through to Sourpaw's warrior ceremony. To grow old with Yarrowcrest. To start a family.
Suddenly dying was no longer anything to look forward to.

she/herGentledoe hadn't been able to pay much attention given the exhaustion weighing her down. Her remaining eye blinked up at Bumblestar, however, as the she-cat spoke of the guards she had suggested. Ah, they were still doing that. Good. A touch of heat warmed her ears as she recalled the request quite a long time ago, though she hadn't done much for it. Different happenings had crossed her mind and she had forgotten almost entirely about it. Her tail twitched, gaze traveling over the Clan. Not many appeared to have stepped forward- perhaps after this, she would reiterate Bumblestar's words and call the Clan forward to volunteer.
Or perhaps not.
At the call for cats to follow her, Gentledoe's eye widened. Fighting RiverClan so soon after the battle with ShadowClan? Her lips pulled into a frown and she raised her head, looking worriedly towards Bumblestar. While the actions of the fish-eating Clan was enough to raise the fur along her spine, Gentledoe could hardly believe it. So much battling, so much bloodshed. Her paw twitched, slowly raising to touch the scarred flesh of her face. The side where she had once had an eye. Given she was still healing, Gentledoe couldn't fight. Not so soon. She could only pray that Bumblestar's course of action was one that would not lead to more issues.

The moon sank lower in the sky as Bumblestar led her Clan back to camp. Triumph radiated from every fiber of her being when she passed through the entrance and strided quickly down the slope, tail high and ears angled forward. Minor scratches littered a select few spots, and she ignored the superficial sting they brought her. Kit’s play.
Beanstar had turned out to be a complete joke.
She made her way over to the spot just beneath the Stormcrest, turned to face her returning Clanmates. She hadn’t yet bothered to clean the blood that stained her fur, and in the dark of the night, it looked inky black. “ThunderClan, gather up! Specially those of you who weren't at Cattail Pond. I wanna talk real quick. Won’t take long.”

Limping on three legs, Sharpclaw hobbled after his leader and took a well-earned seat somewhere in the clearing. He winced as he laid himself down, taking the time to lick his wounds again. His shoulder was the worst of them, blood seeping out like warm milk dribbling from a kit's chin. This wound wasn't a matter of life and death though, so he could wait and listen to whatever Bumblestar had to say before visiting the medicine den.

Though she dog-tried, Maplebird decided it was smart to listen to what Bumblestar had to say now, after she had seen that Yarrowcrest and Sparrowfur were alright and tended to by Drizzlecloud and Springpaw. She had her own fair share of scratches but nothing serious, stuff that would heal on its own. The scarred calico padded stiffly to towards the front of the group, settling down with her paws underneath her. This better be good.

Sunleap, Rainclaw and Beetlekit arrived to the meeting.
Sheepkit followed her mother and Beetlekit. The large deaf kit wasn't sure what was happening.
Dogkit arrived at the meeting too, but she stayed as far away as possible away from Mo-Rainclaw and Beetlekit, not caring that that also separated her from Dad and Sheepkit.

If you have a character that knows one of my characters somehow you're welcome to make a starter and mention me whenever you want to roleplay them together. Birdpaw has flock together tier three and bilingual tier three. Toadpaw has silver tongue. Mantiskit has agatha kitty and mind reader. I often end up editing my applications, especially if I'm not using a form so don't consider my first draft to be final as it likely isn't, especially if it's a kit finder. If one of my characters says, thinks, or does something you don't like please don't get angry at me since I'm just trying to roleplay their personalities.
