Into the Twoleg Place [Open to Kittypets]

Shadowfur’s head jerked around as a small voice emerged from the shadows. A dusty cat was looking at him and Sorrelflare, identifying themselves as Duskwatcher. Shadowfur wasn’t familiar with the name, but it was definitely a Clan name. He straightened himself.

“Are you from ShadowClan?” he asked, his voice firm. “We’ve come looking for lost Clanmates. My name is Shadowfur, and this is Sorrelflare.” This cat looked like they’d gone through some rough times. Shadowfur had to admit, he was impressed that Duskwatcher had survived in their state. ShadowClan could use a warrior like that.

Duskwatcher stopped to shake his pelt clean from the Dust, or at least tried to, since his pelt was quite dusty from his unwanted trip into a basement, whatever that was "Shadow, Yes Shadow, as Scary as Crows in the Midnight, i Duskwatcher was once in Shadows, But left so not my pelt would leave me, for the Dawn was angry but i hope not so much anymore" He crowed, his yellow eye twitching slightly

Sorrelflare had been thinking to himself but ears perked when he heard a voice speaking to them and was also speaking rather, odly? He hummed as his yellow gaze looked at Duskwatcher, "Well then Duskwatcher, if you would like to return we can help you but what knowledge do you have of this twoleg? any dogs?"

Xe truly did not want to deal with a dog tonight, he jsut wanted to get his clan members back home.

Well, this cat was rather odd. He turned to look at Sorrelflare as the other cat questioned this loner about the Twoleg that had captured him. Shadowfur didn’t really see the need to find information out about this cat’s captor. What were they going to do with that information? Attack the Twoleg?

The black warrior shook his head. “I think it’s more important to get this guy out of here and back to ShadowClan. We don’t want to keep Dawnstar waiting much longer.”

Sorrelflare snapped his head toward Shadowfur, “Do you want to get attacked by dogs? Those twolegs let those mutts off to run free. I would rather NOT have to waste more herbs.” He said with a low growl tail lashing

When Larkpaw got response from neither, kittypet-ShadowClanner and warrior, the apprentice sighed and scrambled onto the weirdly shaped garden bush on her own, biting down on her tongue to keep the yelp of surprise in when her backleg fell between a hole. Muttering something incoherent, and probably vile, thing under her breath, the lithe apprentice pulled herself back up, inspecting the weird ledge. She glanced over her shoulder for any of Wishingwell's further instructions, and then turned back to eyeing the barrier, and beyond it, Aspenpaw.

Clearly, Larkpaw disliked being wrong about something. "I may have been wrong. This looked different from further away." Now, extracting a claw to try and tug through the strands of mesh. Apparently, that wouldn't do. Frowning, the former loner turned her attention back to the feline infront of her. "Where did you say that guard was?"

[ @Kiba. - Wishingwell / @Erebus - Aspenpaw | I realized that I read those last few posts very wrong and my brain didn't comprehend them at all until now, so whoops. Apologies on that, so here you are. Another post, moving forward. I'm unsure what the barrier looks like, so I was just assuming it'd look like some sort of mesh? ]

He wasn't sure what was going on on the other side of the wall, and he didn't really care. As long as they were doing something to get him out of here. Finally the apprentice appeared balancing on the edge as she scratched at the screen. She was younger than he expected, and he was beginning to wonder why she was so far out of camp.

"Just push on the corner there, it should come free and fall." Stars why was everyone so incompetent, it would be so much easier if he could just do it himself. But whatever, she should manage. It didn't seem to be held in buy much, just one little piece. He moved to edge of the couch, as far as he could manage. Preparing to escape as soon as the guard came free.

Shadowfur rolled his eyes. Had Sorrelflare forgotten how to think like a warrior? What did he expect this dusty loner to tell him that he didn’t already know? The warrior nodded toward a clump of some Twoleg plants in the nearby garden. “We go roll around in those, to disguise our scent. Then, we sneak off without making so much noise that we alert the dogs of our presence. If they come after us, we fight them like warriors.”

At the underlying, irritated tone woven into Aspenpaw's words, Larkpaw shot the former-ish ShadowClan apprentice an incredulous glance. 'Excuse me, I'm saving you.' The words instantly sprang to mind, but Lark bit down on her tongue, refocusing on the guard as she reached up to fiddle with it. She wasn't an impulsive she-cat, after all. Larkpaw was more of one to think out and carefully plan anything she did before going through with it. Unless the times called for instant decisions, then in that case it was different. So regardless of how much Lark wanted to snap at this feline in front of her, she could also imagine his frustration. She herself would rather never re-visit a twoleg home.

Eventually the guard snapped under the pressure, and the screen came loose, all of a sudden leaning precariously against Lark. Muttering unintelligible things under her breath, the apprentice pushed the mesh screen away from herself, leaning it against the window frame. "Let's go." She said, hopping off the ledge and back onto the ground.

[ @Erebus - Aspenpaw | Alright, apologies for taking this long with this response. What are we going to do about Wishingwell, though? Say he disappeared while Lark was opening the screen? Because I don't think Lark (and maybe Aspen) would return to Dawnstar without bothering to even look around for Wishingwell. ]
