Brought out of his musings once more by Stonecrackle's remark, the large apprentice focused on the warrior, wincing in empathy as he saw the look of pain cross his face. He did not know what outsiders had done to hurt Stonecrackle in a way that caused such visible pain to simply think about it, but for now he did not care to press on the matter, choosing to instead bump his head affectionately on the gray tom's shoulder. If the large warrior wished to talk to him about whatever ghosts he had in his past, he would do so at his own time and of his own volition, not because Snowypaw had forcefully coaxed the story out of him. Instead, the mostly white furred tom pursed his whiskers in thought, trying to remember his earlier suggestion. Mismatched ears perked up as he remembered. "Oh, the tunnels? Yes, there is usually plenty of rabbits and hares there. We wouldn't even have to go into the tunnels themselves. They tend to stay above grazing during the day."

Casting a glance over at the buried mole, Snowypaw's ear twitched again, wondering if it would be wise to leave prey here with the potential of outsiders around to steal it. The normally gentle apprentice felt his pelt run hot in a mild flash of anger at the thought of the horrible outsider who'd hurt Stonecrackle further hurting the clan by stealing food that would be better used feeding kits and elders. Taking a deep breath, Snowypaw shook himself to clear his head. Unchecked anger would do him no good now, and it was not a feeling he enjoyed regardless. Best concentrate on how he could be useful to Stonecrackle and the clan instead. Letting his blue eyes roam the moorland, he decided it might be best to return to camp. Taking the mole all the way to the tunnels would be a hassle, and leaving it here was out of the question. Besides, Stonecrackle might want to report to the higher ups about potential threats if he was worried enough to leave the area for now despite the promising first hunt.

"Should we go back first? Home, I mean. To camp. We could leave the mole there before heading to the tunnels," Snowypaw finally suggested, motioning with his broad head towards the buried mole. The Maine Coon mix considered bringing up potentially reporting to the leader or deputy, but opted to remain silent instead. It was not his place to tell a warrior what to do, no matter how good his intentions were. Plus he was certain the thought was already on Stonecrackle's mind if he deemed the matter important enough. And if he did not... well he was a warrior. He obviously had more experience on what was worth reporting and what was not than he did in any case. He would trust Stonecrackle's decision on the matter, regardless of what he chose.
