Duskfire shot him a puzzled look. "Didn't I say braindead first? Are you using it now because you have nothing else to say? You also say I think with my heart, are you saying I'm being emotional? Well no duh, their is a killer clan and your saying their good, so of course a bit of emotion is gonna invite itself in! Not to mention, you have quite a bit of emotion here too! Ravenkit had been basically chasing his tail for the few hours he had been gone, he wasn't sure if his mother, Ashfeather, had noticed he had been gone, but he could only pray she hadn't. Honestly, would Ashfeather-- and him, be able to take losing another again? It didn't matter, Ravenkit had paid enough attention that he was close to camp, where he found a patrol to take him fully home. Of course though, Ravenkit would not call out again, screeching for any cat to find him, it wasn't like he was starving like before or anything. Ravenkit had only wanted to take a walk, oh, why does anything he does go wrong? Eat prey, oh wait! That prey is randomly poisoned! Oh no, this is terrible.

He ran more until his body couldn't take it anymore, but still loving the moment, he was big and agile now, even if he wasn't trained he still had his own natural strengths. A cool breeze had hit his pelt only a few moments later, which, as he breathed in, stung his lungs. Now deciding he would just stop running and lay down for a few moments, he licked his newly ruffled pelt. Ravenkit just laid, there almost dozing off, but having to wake himself up, reminding himself of the dangers of the barren land.

Crack. Just with that sound, Ravenkit snapped to attention, already jumping to conclusions. Now with the unsettling feeling, his surroundings seemed darker and more dead looking, it also seemed more cold, like his fur had suddenly grown short. Another crack of a twig came from behind a bush, along with the sound of an owl. Ravenkit had heard of owls, owls could snatch up kits or apprentices easily with their large talons and see anything from any distance, or was that hawks? It didn't matter to him, he jumped to his paws and ran, even though his body had grown tired, and he was slower and clumsier. While running, he tripped over roots, heard even more strange noises but still ran, not paying attention to where he was going when he hit something, something soft-- something big… He looked up thinking a badger or fox but instead a… cat?

Leopardfire remembered her way back to camp and found her way back that storm had her lost she had tried to go hunting but failed and had to hunker down somewhere

Gingerice looked around camp, a little bored, but happy to see kits playing outside the nursery and apprentices talking beside their den. Clan life went on. They sighed, thinking about the threat of ShadowClan, and wished Dawnstar would leave them alone.

The tiny ginger and black she-cat had finally made her way back to camp. She sighed, padding over to her leader. Tail between
her legs, she looked to Twilightstar ashamedly. ”Uh..Hi Twilightstar.” She clenched her teeth together. She was going to get in trouble, and especially considering the fact that it was right before her apprenticeship.

“Because arguing is fun? More fun than sitting around, especially when I meet spirited cats like yourself. Anyway, you still haven’t answered the question I’d say begun this little spat. Tell me, how by nature’s laws must ShadowClan cats be good?”

Elderflare was thinking. Hard. He thought about how the world was imploding upon itself. ShadowClan were killing cats for no reason and needed no transgression to attack, Windclan had many infidelities, such as a leader less focused on tactics than on endurance. What’d she say: “We are going to Weather the Storm?”

The storm would not stop. Not until it was stopped by force. What they really needed was a double agent. It was a better time than ever to have one, as ShadowClan cats crossed borders almost every day. The vigils were even more frequent. All this grim thinking caused him to experience something akin to a migraine. “Owwwww! Urghhh….that is really annoying. I really could have done without.” He groaned.
