Moonpaw's pelt automatically bristled in alarm as Dawnstar descended from her seat on the Shadowledge to directly address her and her brother. Luckily Windclan had just left, but the scarred leader's rage was directed at his mentor as well... as if this situation wasn't already bad enough.
Is she accusing me of arrogance?! Moonpaw would have likely concentrated her emotions on that thought, but Pinepaw was still held like a prisoner under Elmshadow's grip and the menace in Dawnstar's voice was enough to shut her mouth.
At Darkfall's warning tap, the black calico molly glanced at Pinepaw again with a mixture of shock and rage. Always getting us in trouble... Don't do anything stupid. She really believed in the leader's menaces, and she would never be able to witness such a cruel punishment for silly behavior.
The newly made apprentice turned away her gaze without any enthusiasm, forcing herself to follow his mentor out of the clear sight at the back of the crowd. He sounds angry, she thought, but she could feel a real warning hidden inside his words.
Was this really what their clan was based on? Terrible menaces directed at young cats, our own tongues controlled by the high ranks through punishments and fear... We're not really free, are we?
She threw his brother a last glance, wondering what his destiny would be. Would he live? What was Dawnstar going to do with him? In any case, Moonpaw was sure to have lost the last of her family that day.
Darkfall frowned from the spot he had taken up with his new apprentice, Moonpaw, at the events that unfolded. He was not at all happy with the theatrics of Vixendance nor how the situation was being handled. He just wanted Dawnstar to punish the cat and get it over with instead of allowing things to drag out as they were. He was, however, mildly impressed when he watched Larkfire confront the blind cat with hostility. The tom wasn’t too sure what to make of the situation, would Dawnstar make the youngest of the enforcers take the eyes of the newly named Disgrace?
Darkfall furrowed his eyebrows as he watched the blind cat turn away from his friend and re-approach Dawnstar with a bated breath. When Vixendance put his paw on his eye, he too late noticed what was happening. Scrambling to shield Moonpaw’s eyes with a paw, he flinched as he watched the tom inflict the horrific wound upon himself. ’What kind of sicko would do that to themselves?’ he thought blood came gushing out of the wound. He had wanted Vixendance to be punished, but seeing this happen gave him a sinking feeling in his stomach.
He had a feeling that Dawnstar would not let the transgression go so easily. Not only had the blind cat attempted to take a WindClan kit, but he also led a WindClan patrol to them, refused to cooperate, and attempted to escape. And the last thing… He had inflicted the punishment upon himself in Dawnstar’s stead when the leader had blatantly said she’d be the eye-taker. He shuddered to think of how the large queen would react.
Not taking his eyes off of the unfolding events, Darkfall leaned towards Moonpaw. ”Are you okay?” He asked silently. He wasn’t sure if he had properly been able to shield her vision from what had just transpired, and if she had seen it, he knew something that gruesome might scar her for the foreseeable future.

Lightsky had been quiet up to this point and she wouldn’t say anything now. She was disgusted. Absolutely, positively appalled by her clan’s current behavior. The 84-moon-old she-cat had lived a long time, but never did she imagine that one of her own clanmates would attempt to steal a kit from another clan. And it was WindClan at that! Thank the stars it wasn’t a RiverClan kit, she couldn’t imagine what she’d have done should a RiverClan patrol just sauntered into their camp like that…
When the WindClan patrol had arrived, she had sneered at them. When the kits “attacked” the WindClan warriors, she let out a little giggle but overall feared for their safety. She was relieved to have noticed a couple of queens and a blue-eyed black tabby rounding some up. Come to think of it… That tabby looked just like her uncle! Whatever, that wasn’t important right now, what mattered was the task at hand.
She had watched the outbursts of some apprentices with an upturned nose and shook her head when that same tabby and… Moonpaw!? What was she doing acting out like that!? She should know better! That scene had caused Lightsky to let out an exasperated sigh.
But she watched from her spot when Danwstar had bestowed judgment upon the filthy kitnapper and the resulting chaos. What was up with these youngins nowadays? Always resorting to violence and not paying heed to authority. This was stupid. This whole clan was acting like a disgrace and she was not having it at all. ”The youth these days…” the aged warrior mumbled under her breath. ’Get yourselves together!’ She wanted to scream at the whole lot of them. Back in her day, the clan didn’t have so many unsightly outbursts and she desperately wanted to have order restored to the clan she loved. If things didn’t improve, they’d be no better than the other clans of the forest and just the thought of being comparable to the other three was enough to make her feel sick to her stomach.
When Vixendance enacted Dawnstar’s suggested ultimatum upon himself, the she-cat just shook her head with disgust. It didn’t bother her to see such things as she had seen much worse growing up, but this… this was just pathetic. Vixendance was a pathetic and weak cat, and she hated pathetic and weak cats. Especially so if they had the gall to call themselves members of ShadowClan. ’Oh how I loathe this’ She thought to herself. She wanted to just go over there and pummel the blind tom for simply being as pathetic as he was. Blind… Kitstealer… Weak and pathetic… Immoral and self-depreciative… that tom was everything she hated put into one (with the exception of not being a RiverClanner of course). She felt revulsion towards his actions and believed whatever Dawnstar wished to do to him, he fully deserved.

Swanpaw couldn't help but let her jaw drop as the tom had the nerve to be so openly delusional he had no right to call Dawnstar unfair when he stooped so low as to kidnapping other clans' kits. "What did he want to do with their kits anyway..." She grumbled to herself as she continued to watch the show in front of her she opted to not get herself involved to not having any combat training and the warriors wouldn't appreciate her nonexistent help anyhow.
Now that's when the blood started to spill. Her height gave her an advantage in missing most of the bloody executions which seemed to be happening a lot recently.
She wasn't too small to miss Vixen'dance tearing his own eye out the blood spilling down his paw and all over his face, her jaw had to be all the way on the floor by now. The apprentice scrambled to face her eyes away focusing on the ground in front of her what kind of psycho tears their own eyeball out.
He was sure in for it now surely he would be killed or chased of the territory anything to rid their hands of this disgrace who couldn't listen to orders properly.

[Gotta wrap this up since Dawn's gotta start a new meeting.]
Dawnstar huffed and rolled her eyes as Vixendance immediately began blaming her and ShadowClan for the situation he had put himself in. Calling her greedy and whatever. Dawnstar's heard this all before and has tired of it. Every troublemaker in this damn clan found some way to pin the blame on her or the way she ran the clan. She was either too violent, too mean, too heartless, and so on. They refused to see the reality, these past few moons, yes, have been gore and bloody, but since then Dawnstar hasn't laid a single claw on any of her clanmates. The Clan had been.... annoying but behaved enough that she hadn't needed to resort to such measures. She hadn't turned anyone on anyone and what greed did she even have aside from ensuring her clan remain strong and feared as they were meant to be?
The leader glanced in the direction of her warriors as a few of them chimed in, Daydream seemed to actually talk sense with the whole consequences bit, and the rest seem set on having Vixendance live out his days as Disgrace. The name change Deadfeather offered might have to be something she thinks about, a disgraced member really shouldn't be allowed to care about their warrior name, should they? She might have to rethink a few things about the rank, she could make changes later. The leader's mind was pulled from her thoughts as her youngest Enforcer moved to block Vixendance's attempt to escape.
It might be a good idea to place the Disgraces' Den near her own, Dawnstar had sleeping issues as it was, she supposed playing guard duty would hurt since her sleeping patterns were abnormal. Before she could actually exact any type of decision or judgment, Vixendance made a choice himself. He padded back over to her and gave her an eye for his transgressions. That was... interesting, she couldn't be really upset with it. The results were what mattered, and she got what she wanted. She wanted both, but one would do she supposed. "There wouldn't be any need for a show if you stopped acting like a completely frog-brain. You made the decision to cause all this fuss, and I mean all of this. Actions have consequences, not all of them as steep as this, but Kitnapping is quite the crime." Dawnstar meowed, barely paying any mind to the mess Vixendance was making.
She assumed that it was shock alone keeping him standing, or something like that. Even the great Shadow Queen would crumble losing an eye like that. Twilightstar had passed out when she took hers. "Don't cause me trouble and we won't have any more problems like this." Even though her words were directed at the bleeding Vixendance, Dawnstar's roared loud and clear for all the clan to hear her. She did not take enjoyment in inflicting pain or death on her own, to her it was a duty that must be done to ensure order remains. It was nothing personal nor pleasurable in the act in the slightest.
"Elmshadow, although I hate wasting resources on the undeserving, take Vixendance, fix him up using as few herbs as possible and no poppy seeds. Make sure that he restocks whatever herbs he used. Vixendance, your stupidity cost you an eye, and your tenacity let you keep the other. You'll keep your rank for now, I truly hope that you've learned a lesson here." Was she letting him off easy, perhaps, but how many of her clanmates would gouge out their own eye? Cats were always complaining about how violent and bloody the Shadow Queen was anyways, were they going to start whining when she showed mercy too? Dawnstar shooed the tom away and then turned to the rest of her clan.
"We're done here, find something to do. If anyone sees Pinepaw, I want him brought to me immediately. I don't know where the furball scurried off to, but he's not to leave camp." Dawnstar padded to her den, grabbing an old pelt and some moss, she returned to soak up and clean up the mess Vixendance had left. She didn't need anything catching wind of the fresh blood and causing havoc in her home. Once she was done, she grabbed everything, moss, pelt, and eye, and took them outside of the camp to dispose of them.

BeeFlight, who had been sitting near FrostScreech watched everything go down… She spent so much time in the medicine den that it was only now she was hearing about what… vixendance…? Had done… As things began to heat up, she looked to her care-taker with concern in her eyes.
This all went south when she saw the Tom rip his own eye out. The sight was all too familiar, reminding her of Ebonysky with the death berries she had eaten at the last meeting. She could see the same psycho look that her murderous… sibling… no, litter mate…That’s too nice… A murderous fur monster she unfortunately happened to be closely related to… this was all to familiar.
The cream molly began to hyperventilate as the thoughts rushed to her head. This can’t be happening, Her chest caved in deeply as she struggled to catch any bit of oxygen she needed, BeeFlight grew dizzy as the crimson blood seemed to fill the clearing… kind of like how hers did… In pure distress, she looks for a way out, whipping her head at a dangerous speed. The wound on her neck was taking its sweet time to heal and the twisting didn’t help. The mollys throat began to bleed like it did a moon ago… Just this time, it wasn’t as dangerous…
BeeFlight looked at her paws, shaking as blood slowly dripped down…

Moonpaw observed as the events took a worse turn in front of her. Amber eyes widened as Dawnstar suggested a terrible punishment for an already blind tomcat, then changed her idea and named him a Disgrace. She didn't know whether to be more shocked by the fact that the warrior had really tried to steal another cat's kit, or that Dawnstar would really rise her claws against one of her warriors.
Her fur bristled in fear as Vixendance dared to speak and challenge Dawnstar's orders - maybe unconsciously, but it was clear that she wasn't pleased. The terrible sight was half-shielded by his mentor's paws, but even like that she couldn't help but notice an explosion of dark red droplets from the warrior's face, a terrible and ear-splitting shriek coming from his mouth.
She held her breath as a pool of blood formed at the paws of Vixendance - Darkfall's low voice was telling her something, but everything was blurred after the terrible shrieks she'd just witnessed. She stared in horror at the dark spots, and the paws of the condemned tomcat were totally plastered. Dawnstar's cold gaze was the last drop: Moonpaw felt dizzy and fell on his paws, feeling weak and sick from the smell.
She stayed silent, trying not to draw any attention. She didn't want anyone to come at her, speak, or ask her. All she could do was stay on the ground weakly with empty eyes staring into the empty, toward the clearing where the scene was still going on.
...She let him..? So that was what Dawnstar had wanted... she will punish us all, and those who won't will be probably already blinded by her... Vixensnarl, Mirehound, Elmshadow, Ivysnake, Cougarivy... they are just a few. Blind, they are all blind... Dawnstar has covered my clan in blood.
She winced again, this time more strongly as the terrible leader called out for his brother. She looked around, for the last time she'd seen him Elmshadow had pinned him down. Pinepaw... where are you?

The Puffball of an elder frowned at the eye loosing scene before him. he nodded at the apprentice cobwebpaw as he snuck back into camp still looking quite green around the gills, one would say.
he turned his attention back to the scene before him, being partly deaf he could hear some of what was being said, but the tom wasn't known for being quiet "WHAT ON STARCLANS NAME IS WRONG WITH YOU WHIPPERSNAPPERS TODAY?! FOR PETE'S SAKE STOP ACTING LIKE OVER GROW KITS WITH ALL THIS DRAMA!!!! IF I WAS YOUR GRANDFATHER I'D PUT YOU IN TIME OUT FOR CAUSING SUCH A BLOODY SCENE IN THE MIDDLE OF CAMP" he waved a stick angrily in his mouth, deciding he needed to bite something, before spitting it out and yowling "FOR PETE'S SAKE JUST LISTEN TO THE LEADER YA WET FURRED WARRIOR KIT!!!" with that he stamped a puffy paw on the ground in front of him, before Cobwebpaw slapped a tail over the elders loud mouth...
Disgust. Pure, undiluted disgust at the show Lark had to witness. It was one thing to have succumbed to the leader's wills, yet it was another to do one up and entirely rip out your own eye. Vixendance was... a queer fellow, and as the blood pooled at his paws, that familiar sickly smell wafting into the air, Larkfire had no choice but to straighten her shoulders and fixate her amber gaze on a point over Dawnstar's shoulder. It was disgusting, not the blood, not the smell, not even the action of drawing blood, but the action of injuring oneself in an outright disobedience to their leader.
The grey damsel was well aware of her surroundings, however, so when an apprentice - specifically Cobwebpaw - lurched past her and into the territory, Larkfire let out an irritated sigh. Really, the Shadow Queen had literally only just announced the rule about staying in camp, or leaving only with a companion. She didn't blame Dawnstar for feeling frustrated with ShadowClan, for some cats seemed to have... not-working minds of their own. But Lark, being the youngest of the Enforcers, considered apprentices to be her domain, seeing as she'd already sent her time into training them one by one.
And once the large, scarred Marchioness of Shadows had called the meeting to an end, even bothering to stop and clean up after Vixendance's idiotic mess, Lark stepped away from the crowd. Turning, she plunged through ShadowClan's camp exit and paused beside Cobwebpaw, who was thankfully right outside, lifting a paw to awkwardly pat the older feline's back. It was a surprise he was still an apprentice, after all this time. She'd have to ask if he needed any assistance, but now was not the time. Instead, Larkfire only parted her maw to speak a few morsels. "You should clean that up." She murmured, gesturing to the upturned food. And now, to find and deal with Pinepaw. Her domain, her trouble, after all.
For the love of the Starless Forest! It was never-ending. It was one thing after freaking another thing. It was bad enough that she hated the majority of the cats in her clan because of a select few dung-for-brains, now she had to figure out how to deal with ThunderClan on top of all of it, and don't even get her started on the freak rogues that apparently killed another one of her warriors.
The ShadowClan leader snorted and snarled, grumbling aggravatingly under her breath as she dragged the dead weight into camp with her. She rested Oliveglow's body in the clearing near the rocky path that led in and out of the camp. She'd make one of her enforcers take him out and bury him later, along with the other three. Having just returned from the little border skirmish with ThunderClan, Dawnstar's amusement with the whole thing had soured the longer she thought about the waste of warriors. None of them had been annoying or acting out so as far as Dawnstar was concerned they were good warriors, now Whisperingwolf, Ivyleaf, Oliveglow, and Mossfang were out of commission for good, plus Shadowflight but considering the latter had been out alone, Dawnstar was more infuriated with the she-cat's disobedience over anything else. Still, she was down another queen as well. It was not a difficult task to get Dawnstar's temper to flare, and aside from dealing with nincompoops, having her warriors killed over defending their home....
"ShadowClan!" Dawnstar yowled, stretching her jaw as she crossed the clearing and leaped up onto Shadowledge. Was today going to be another yowling meeting? Yes, when wasn't Dawnstar screeching her head off about something? The Clan should be used to Dawnstar's prickly temper by now. However, today she'd be raving and ranting about ThunderClan. Sparrowstar had promised her compensation for ThunderClan's actions and Dawnstar planned to take what was offered and more purely to remind ThunderClan not to mess with her, especially when her mood has been nonstop anger and rage for the past moon!
Dawnstar didn't dislike Sparrowstar, for a young leader, she was easy enough to deal with and not haughty or arrogant enough to ignore her clanmates' mistakes. Dawnstar genuinely liked that she'd be taking responsibility for her clan's appalling actions, and could even respect her a bit for it, but the fact that her clan was bold enough to think they could cross into ShadowClan's home and try and steal their prey... Nope, that was going to have some serious repercussions especially when Dawnstar hadn't done anything yet to deserve the blatant disrespect and it involved the deaths of multiple warriors.
