The gigantic, battled-scarred, dark brown she-cat left the warmth of her den and stepped just outside the entrance. She was hit with a dramatic shift in the air as the cold breeze brushes past her face. Her den felt a little stuffy so she was grateful for the chill. She cast her eyes up towards the sky where the clouds blocked out the moon. It was still rather early in the day, but leaf-fall shortened the days immensely.
A splash of freezing water hit her face and made her flicker her whiskers aggressively. It's been raining for the last few days, Dawnstar had been holding off on calling a meeting in hopes the rain would stop but nope. Dawnstar wasn't interested in getting her entire clan sick, so she decided to simply give the clan the opinion to stay in their dens. The huge feline huffed softly and then fully padded out of the entrance, her pelt twitched as droplet after droplet managed to slowly soak through her pelt.
Dawnstar's ears flickered nonstop as she made her way to the Shadowledge. "ShadowClan, I'm calling a clan meeting. Kits, queens, and elders are to stay in their dens unless called out. Apprentices and Warriors may join me beneath the Shadowledge if they wish." Even with rain falling, the leader's voice boomed through the camp demanding attention.
The leader cut a striking, yet sinister figure in the rain. The numerous scars that decorated her body grew more prominent as her thick, fluffy, pelt was drenched and plastered to her body, exposing the stout, powerful muscles coiled with a touch of tension as the raindrops slide down them. Dawnstar rolled her broad shoulders and stretched out her muscular physique before taking a seat on the wet stone. The forever-glaring amber eyes cast an eerie gleam as they darted around in mildly impatient habit while their owner waited for the clan to heed her call. There was much to get done this meeting, a lot of changes, and immense disappointment on her part.
[ too tired to do a full post, but obviously if I need to I will lol ]

Brackenfire's wasn't too used to cats approaching her, and didn't have many friends, so she was surprised, to say the least, when Flamecall, a warrior, approached her. She was hunched, sheltered partially by the nursery against the freezing rain, nodding to them as they sat beside her. "Flamecall." She returned the greeting with a small smile. The last friendly cat she had talked to was... Bounceberry, wasn't it? It had been a while. Maybe it was just because she was asocial, or because about 95% of the cats here were so despicably desperate to fit the mold of hostile ShadowClan cat in hopes of impressing the higher ranking cats.
"They are." She said, glancing up at Dawnstar with narrowed yellow eyes against the rain, then back to her companion. At his next words, she chuckled in agreement. "Most certainly. I'll look forward to getting a good night's sleep again, once I'm away from whining kits 24/7. And I'll be able to put more effort into my warrior duties than I have been lately, with more time on my paws." Technically, Dawnstar had said that queens should stay in the nursery, but she was about an hour away from not being a queen anymore, and she was also an Enforcer. "It'll be a relief to have some time to myself, too." A joking lightness accompanied this, but the words were serious. She couldn't wait to be able to stay out longer, and not be constantly worrying...
Glancing to her side to shoot the warrior a small grin, flicking a drop of water from her ear. "Are you wanting an apprentice this meeting?" She knew what her answer would be. Hell no. No more impressionable young children. At least not for a while, she needed to be her old immature self again. But to each their own, so she didn't know what Flamecall's response would be. Which was the reason for her asking, she supposed.

Frostscreech sat down, shooting Brackenfire a clearly upset glance. The bengal remained with decorum though and sat near the the large tree. The rain didn’t bother their tom. If he got sick then he got sick.

The warrior was less than amused with the rain, though it happened to be her favourite kind of weather. The consistent rainfall of the past few days was making her restless in a most uncomfortable way, being cooped up for one day was long enough. Three was getting ridiculous.
The she cat pushed her way out from underneath the overhang of the warriors den into the dim light of midday. Few warriors and apprentices had begun to gather around the shadow ledge and Dawnstar seemed to stand six times taller than she normally did.
Duckpuddle did her best to not shiver at the cold as she stepped out to embrace the chill and join her clanmates.
Larkpaw emerged from the nursery from beside Dappledleaf, shooting a quick glance towards her foster mother in question. It was raining, much to the apprentice's dislike, but worse than that was the prospect of kits, certain kits, being out in this weather.
At the leader’s call, Elmshadow moved out of the depths of his den and out into the onslaught of icy droplets. His green eyes squinted mildly at the chill soaking in through his thick, short pelt and the splash of droplets sending small sprays over his face as they broke upon his nose. He stopped in an open area not far from his den and sat down, lifting his face against the downpour to look up at Dawnstar.
**Cougarivy**
The mottled enforcer commander padded easily through the entrance, her pelt soaked through, slicked over her taut muscles and small frame. She shook out her pelt choppily as her steps slowed then she smiled and hurried to an open spot beneath the Shadowledge where the massive leader was perched. She sat down, gave her head another shake, then wrapped her tail around her body, tail tip twitching in anticipation.
**Sunsetthorn & Branchfire**
The dark brown tom stepped towards the entrance of the warrior’s den, his body still weak and unreliable. He made to move into the rain but stopped as Sunsetthorn’s golden shape moved in front of him, cutting him off. He looked down, meeting her one blue eye with his dull yellow eyes questioningly. There was no question in Sunsetthorn’s eye, her intention was clear and Branchfire gave a small conciliatory smile. There was no use arguing with her when she got that look, even if the look was due to his own health and her concerns. He leaned in, giving her a small nudge with his nose then sat back near the entrance where he could still hear Dawnstar’s commanding voice. His muscles relaxed further as he felt his new mate's flank settle in beside him.
