Dang it! All of the little bits of round stuff he had found crumbled upon contact and Brindlepaw was left with no pebbles, even as many of the kits and apprentices around him came up with shiny and dull stones. Changing tactics, he went to poke about near the fresh-kill pile. He figured there would be fewer lookalike dirt clumps there, and, he thought as he sniffed again, he doubted anyone else would think to look there. He just hoped that wasn't for a good reason.

Echobreeze immediately looked into a deep and muddy puddle. She hoped that there was another shiny rock in there.

Brightkit!

Brightkit would curiously step out of the nursery, listening closely to the meeting and taking in the information, a cheeky grin growing on his face before he ran behind a few larger cats, following some of them since they were larger and could see the pebbles easier, and he could steal from them before they grabbed the rocks.

Alpinepaw looked at the clump of dirt and thought, "I think my eyes deceived me..." She walked towards another place which was a medium-sized hole in the Clearing. Alpinepaw stopped and peeked into the hole, hoping to see something.

Burnedpaw noticed the commotion and while he wasn't originally going to take part, he figured he might as well. He rose to his paws and padded over, listening and observing. A scavenger hunt, huh? His nose twitched, could be interesting. He turned to begin his search, looking for pebbles.

He grinned widely as he collected the shiny blue pebble. Two points for him right off the bat! His tail swayed high as he went and looked around in the clearing, poking around piles of leaves and such clutter to try and discover another one.

Tawnylight was just sitting in the warriors den when she heard Wolfhive's message. Her possible siblings Volepelt and Leopardheart heard him too. They started looking around for pebbles in and around their den.

The she-cats ears perked up curiously. A scavenger hunt? Her tail dropped slightly at the mention that a kit wouldn't get the excursion outside of camp. That didn't seem fair! At least not to Weevilkit, who was moons older than some of these kittens, older than some of the apprentices, even. Perhaps she'd be able to convince them otherwise. Even if she wasn't, a scavenger hunt sounded much better than sitting around camp.

With her tail held high, she padded off towards the edge of camp with her leaf-green eyes glued to the ground.
