"Are you ready to go Peachpaw? This is going to be a good chance to practise your hunting abilities." And with that Dawnstream ran out of camp with Peachpaw to go hunting. She was glad she had eaten right before the patrol or else she would have been tempted to eat some prey. She trotted along untill she could smell something it was different. she nosed at it. she had never smelled anything like it before it was hard and pointy. Dawnstream walked away and remembered to report that later. She listened and smelled for any prey and smelled a vole. She soon made quick work of the vole by stalking it and killing it in one quick bite. Soon Dawnstream had also collected a mouse.

Dawnstream trotted into the clearing and sat down she wanted to talk to her mate, Fallenstep, and to tell him about her apprentice. It was wighing heavy on her mind, and she wanted to tell somebody. She really cared for her apprentice. Dawnstream bent her head down and started to lick her chest and paws.

Fallenstep walks into the clearing and sees Dawnstream, his eyes widening. pasting an emotionless front on his face, he sighs dramatically and makes his way to the she-cat. "Dawnstream." He says her name in a deep and quiet voice.

Dawnstream looked up and saw the cat she had just been wanting to talk to. "Fallenstep! I just had been wanting to talk to you. Sit down please. How are you I saw you have an apprentice. How has that been going? Maybe we could train our apprentices together sometime." Dawnstream did not relies how much she had been wanting to ask until it came pouring out. "I have been wanting to talk to you. If you could not tell." Dawnstream purred and brushed the side of her mussel on his.

the tom blinked for a moment startled that his younger brother would just leap at him. he was thrown off balance and sent tumbling downwards with the kitten wrapped firmly in a hug. a gruff laughed made him wince a bit. is it ok for me to joke around like this? shaking his head he meowed it looks like you keep getting bigger and bigger by the day hawthorn'kit. he replied.

"Mhmm!" Hawthornkit nodded vigorously, a smile spreading across their face. "Soon I'll be as big as you!" Taking a step back from his brother, he puffed up his chest to try to appear larger, only to lose their balance and fall flat on their face. "Mph!" In moments, he was back on his feet, though dirt was now present on parts of his face. Despite this, his mood was unfazed. "What were ya doing? I haven't seen you in forever!" In reality, it had probably been only hours to a day since they saw each other last. Letting out a whine with his previous statement, Hawthornkit pawed towards Ghostpaw, not yet noticing their current state.
