Cowkit was shaken off the warriors tail as she smiled up brightly. "Im going to be the best warrior ever!" she hopped up and down in excitement. Cowkit looked over towards the den Cherry was working on and opened her mouth in awe. "how are you not hurting yourself with those thorns?" she looked towards the sharp thorns. Cowkits eyes imedely lit up as Cherry mentioned battle training.
"Aw man can I come I promise I'll behave!" she jumped up and down. "I promise, I promise!" she looked up towards Cherry with bright round eyes. "Pwease!"

Huh. She'd been expecting a fight, but once she'd said she'd listen, something in his demeanour shifted - he seemed less immediately combative, anyway. It took her a little by surprise. All it had taken was for her to listen to him? She'd known plenty of their warriors were negligent in their apprentice training, but how many times had Wingpaw been ignored and pushed aside when he had something to say? It troubled her. At least she knew he was in good paws with Cherryswirl...
She softened as he continued to speak. All that bluster, and he just wanted to ensure his brother was well looked after. "You have my word - I will do my absolute best to protect Honeypaw while he is under my care," she mewed. "You can rest assured that his training will have my full attention. In fact, why don't you come along some time? I'd be happy to have you. Perhaps we can discuss it with Cherryswirl, see if we can't organise for the four of us to do some training together?" she suggested. Maybe he'd feel a little more at ease if he spent some more time with her, and his presence might help Honeypaw open up a little too - she hadn't heard a word from him yet.
It hurt her heart to see such a young cat tasking himself with the responsibility of caring for his brother. She once again found herself silently cursing Falconfeather for crossing the border and getting himself killed. First Tansypaw, now Wingpaw... He seemed to have left a lot of young cats who had been depending on him behind in his wake. Still, perhaps she could ease Wingpaw's worry a little, help him feel as if he didn't have to watch Honeypaw every moment of the day.
...Okay this was weird. Why wasn't Ripplepelt like all of the other warriors? Why wasn't she scolding him or hissing or spitting? Wingpaw had not been prepared for this, so he sat there staring at her as she pretty much agreed to all of his terms. There was no pushback, no arguing... he gave a grunt as he tried to figure out what to say to this. "Uh... yeah. I-I can check with Cherryswirl - regardless, I want to do that. Do a training session with all of us. That way I can make sure he's being trained." Despite the momentary falter in his hardened expression, his eyes remained narrowed to make sure this warrior knew he was serious.
He did have to admit this conversation had made him more relieves than he thought it would. Maybe... maybe Ripplepelt would be like Rushwater and keep an eye out for Honeypaw just as much as Wing did. "...That was, uh, it." Awkward now, because that really was all that he had wanted to talk to her about. "Remember; Honeypaw comes first." And with that, the calico slipped away with his tail twitching to look for wherever his brother was.
[ so sorry for the delay! i figure we can finish it here since it was just a short convo after the meeting! ]
Goldfish padded into camp, tired and cold.
Her pigeon she'd caught hung in her mouth. despite
the fact that it was thin, it would certainly feed a good
mouth or two. She was padding beside Creekpelt, the
cat she'd hunted with after stumbling across him, when
he appeared rather gloomy. After padding into a body-heat
-filled camp, she felt a little warmer already. She padded over
to the fresh-kill pile, and dropped her catch into the meager
stash. "Keep hold of your catch," she said cheerfully, "that one we can share, and leave the rest to everyone else.
I'll get Daisypaw to bring the pigeon to the elders."
She then plopped down on the earth nearby, eagerly, almost,
and scratched a paw behind her ear to clear it of wet, snowy
sludge. It slopped to the ground with a disgusting noise. She
cleaned the area, and smiled friendlily at Creekpelt. He was not going to be sad while she had anything to say about
it.

Creekpelt padded into the camp, feeling better, but still a little sad. His last meeting with Wren had been…problematic. He wasn't sure if she would see him after that. He was shaken suddenly out of his revelry by Goldfish. "Wha…oh, right," he mumbled. He went over to Goldfish and sat down, eyeing the vole halfheartedly.

#minkpaw766 ->> minkpaw [she/they, rc apprentice, 11moons, the collector, herb1] <<-
a dark blueish grey bengal-patterned she cat with silver eyes
minkpaw jawned, she hadnt been able to sleep all night, unable to stop herself from thinking about her conversation with blazingstar the prior night. but it was the early morning now and she had to go check up on birchbranch. slipping out of the medicine cat den, it was early enough for most cats to be just getting up so the clearing was rather empty. luckily birchbranch was up already, so they didnt have to try to not step on anyone trying to get to her in the warrior den.
"hello birchbranch, i hope you had a good night, how are you doing? any issues?" was that a good checkup? well. the molly would probably complain if she had any issues so she supposed it must be fine. luckily most complaints would be probably minor, cobwebpaw wouldnt have let her move out of the medicine den otherwise.
The silver warrior slowly trotted out of the Warrior's den. She hoped that today would be a calmer day, or at least calmer than others, with all that has happened. Larkstar and Tansypaw missing. She was upset, but she knows that the two wouldn't have left without a fight. She felt bad for Tansypaw in particular. She was a child, and her Clan put the weight of the world on her shoulders. But she would support her new leader, Birdsnow. Something that Larkstar could not say the same about. With little support with their last leader, Spottedstream wanted to make sure that this leader would get the support they deserve. The molly's long, silver fur gleamed in the morning sunlight. Her blue eyes blinked, not wanting to doze off. The bengal found a shaded spot on the edge of the clearing and settled herself there, her long tail moving to cover her silver paws.

he'd learned a lot this morning from his old friend from outskirts... a friend he aand cocoonwillow had known for a while and had come to trust... a friend who'd even tooken in his younger sister Twinkles when he had followed Fox into Riverclan life...
His Heart was With Riverclan now... but his heart also screamed and ached for something more... some simple reason... to stay... a simple reason for him to not feel usless to everyone he met...

“One day I’ll be the greatest warrior of all the clans!”
Feeling a steep aura of despair Adderpaw approached the source. She was wary of her own abilities. She wasn't sure if she was good enough with her words to help someone but how was one to improve if they never tried. So she walked up from behind and sat down besides the warrior. "Is this seat taken?" She said with a playful tone

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" He launched forward bristling in fright before wildling looking around him... his eyes landing on Adderpaw he sat back down swiftly with his ears back in shame... though his fur was still bristling he managed a soft "n-no..."
