Shadefrost and Frigidpaw hm? The warrior had accompanied the pair deep into their territory and finally up towards the windclan border. It reeked of the scrawny rabbit chasers and the moldy wetlands covered in snow and ice. No matter how cold it got, it would stink to starclan and back.

“Bit of a nip in the air.” the she cat stated trodding past the pair of cats into the lead of the group, deviating from side to side leaving her scent where it was needed.

The scruffy apprentice was puffed up like a hedgehog, glaring at everything around her with her piercing yellow eyes. She was walking along angrily, determined to show Vixensnarl that she could handle a patrol. She rubbed her scent along some plants, a little too aggressively and entirely ignored the fact the Dogtooth was talking. She wasn't here for small talk.

At his mention of sisters, Daintypaw let out a rare, deep throated snarl. But when she spoke again, her tone was level and lofty, a forced smirk curling on her soon to be bloodied lips. "I want to see my sister too." Featherpaw. Wherever she ran off to- Daintypaws only family. "Look like neither of us will have the opportunity." FoxPaw's leg snapped and he groaned in pain as he attempted to limp away.

Shadefrost happily made his way through the forest, his sapphire blue orbs glowing with delight as ice cold wind ruffled through his sleek black fur. The others, however, didn't look nearly as thrilled as he felt. Especially not Frigidpaw with her silent yet extremely funny death stare. "I actually don't mind the cold weather," said the tom in a cheerful voice "it feels very nice and refreshing when it blows on my pelt." Shadefrost had never felt the need to brush his entire body against a tree, it always felt like he was doing more than he needed to. So instead he brushed his tail on the trees closest to him as he walked, while simultaneously keeping an eye out for whatever dangers there might be in the forest. And jeez la weez, couldn't an apprentice smile at least once.

Dogtooth wasn’t particularly enthused to be out, her paws ached from her last patrol, regardless she felt special she’d been called to two separate patrols within such a short time span. As Frigidpaw kept weaving back and fourth looking like a deranged squirrel she attempted to ignore it.

“Really?” she questioned the warrior over her shoulder. She never imagined anybody enjoyed the snow. She certainly did not, the wind even made her ears hurt. “I always found the wind sting a bit too much for my liking.”

"I undersatnd where you're coming from" said Shadefrost reminiscently, "when I was a kit I hated the cold too, but then I became an apprentice and I started to slowly like it after a while." He made his way towards a few more trees brushing his tail against them, before deciding that he was finished on his part. He padded towards a nearby boulder and climbed it, in order to have a better view of the forest surrounding them. "You know Dogtooth, I couldn’t help but notice that you're looking cuter than usual today," said the warrior nonchalantly, ”Might it be because you’re in a good mood today.” Now now, I know what you're probably thinking, 'really, he just had to flirt with her didn't he'? Well, the answer is, YES HE DID!!! HOW COULD YOU POSSIBLY EXPECT HIM TO PASS UP A GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY SUCH AS THIS Uhh!?

Frigidpaw managed to mark her part of the border. Her pointy fur made her look like a hedgehog. It was cold, ew. She wanted to go home. Eeeeewwww the oldies were flirting. Uugh, she wanted to return to camp! She wasn't going to be held back by the others. Frigidpaw started trekking back without a word.
