i'm going to slide you Woodpelt. i'm about to submit the joining form for him. he is panromantic and asexual, but he can have kits with owlstar if she wants. he is adaptable, understanding, and witty. he is good at defusing arguments, and he will always be there for Owlstar. he's very nurturing and empathetic, and gentle and caring. he will be an amazing friend, always talking to owlstar and making sure that she takes care of herself as well as the entire clan. when he gets rejected, he'll totally understand, and ask if they can remain friends. he has a normally calm demeanor, but can also react and lead well in times of crisis. how does that sound?

Dirtdog! A totally new never seen character~ A large cat with folded ears and a spotted brown pelt (how unique) and soulful golden eyes that'll just make you fall straight in love! Huh? What? Tripod? Oh no Dirtdog has all four legs of course, ignore the one that looks more like a big stick tied to their body with vines.

Dirtdog has been a clan cat for a long time and is totally on allegiances, if you cant see them there Im sure you've clicked the wrong allegiances, the riverclan button is the one with the lightning bolt through it.


Kind, caring, silly and fun Dirtdog is the ideal partner, ever loyal and pleasant to be around- HEY WAIT WAIT WAIT WHERE ARE YOU GOING?!!?!?

Long-furred, tan tom with mottled brown and dark brown spots on his shoulders, face and tail. Shining yellow eyes and a permanent smirk on his face (don't ask him why his suffix is "glare", as he has no idea but thinks it sounds dashing), ever the schmoozer with a smooth voice.

Sure, maybe Finchglare's not as young as he used to be. Sure, sometimes when it rains his front right leg aches. And, hey, maybe he's a fan of sunlit naps in the clearing. But don't let that fool you--this tom is one hard worker.

In his youth, Finchglare was consistently followed by a pack of doe-eyed mollies and toms desperate for his affection. Finchglare was more than happy to provide, but usually left a trail of broken hearts in his wake. Every "fancy" he's ever had, has always been someone else initiating it. He'd just sort of... learned to go along with it. Now at the ripe old age of almost 5 season cycles--which he laughed at, because who called that old?--the flocks no longer follow, and he is more than okay with that. His happiness consists of fishing in the river as the sun rises, or the feeling of the current swirling around his legs. The sound of peepers in the night. That, to him, is more what love is than anything that could be shared between cats. But, who knows. Maybe that could change.

So, what does our handsome contender sound like? That's uh... a great question. I'm thinking Flynn Rider from Tangled (because obviously)? Though that might change.

What does he think of Owlstar? Oh heavens where does he even begin! Y'know what, I'll just let him tell you.

The first time Finchglare really saw Owltalon was when Stormstar announced her as Deputy. It was the first time many cats truly saw her, brought into the watery spotlight that trickled down over RiverClan's High Ranks. Even as nervous whispers swirled around the clearing, Finchglare couldn't help but be entranced at the way the sunlight framed her scarred face, her tufted fur shifting in the breeze. Wow. Was all he could think.


Fast forward many moons later, and RiverClan is thriving again. Owlstar, predictably, became Leader within a few moons of Stormstar's reign. But unpredictably, she seemed to be doing a damn good job so far. Finchglare didn't interact with her much, but sometimes he found himself staring at her as she walked through camp, the moonlight casting her scars in silver, or the sun lighting her fierce gaze on fire. Every time he looks at her, he can't help but feel confident in their future. Besides, she seems like a lot of fun! Maybe one day he'll approach her, but changing his routine... he's not sure he's ready for that.

I've got a few ideas for this pair if we decide they would be good together! Perhaps as they become friends (because they would absolutely have to be friends first and foremost!) Finchglare falls first for Owlstar, really surprised with himself about it, but doesn't act on anything. If he is rejected when he eventually confesses, which he'll take graciously, though might be a little confused because this is all a first for him. What's normal? Who knows! Finchglare is the type of tom to fall really hard for someone and be willing to wait for them, if they request it. But he respects cats enough to not be a hater if it doesn't work out.

What's the vibe I'm thinking? Well... *rubs hands together like an evil fly* the song About You by Caravan Palace should suffice. If they end up together and live happily ever after, perhaps Our Love (from Arcane) by Curtis Harding and Jazmine Sullivan.

PERSONALITY
Icehawk is a very strong cat mentally. He's able to quickly form ways to do something, than he forces this way to be the right way. He has migraines, so he's in pain a lot of the time, and not able to control his anger to the extent of yelling. He also has frequent burns in his chest, causing him immense pain all the time, and he doesn't have the ability to spend time with those he loves because he doesn't want to hurt them. If he did, he would never forgive himself.

DYNAMICS
When Icehawk witnessed Stormstar die, he was crushed. He kept it to himself, but he had had a crush on her. He wanted to work hard and never stop working to make it up to RiverClan. Even though he knew it wasn't his fault she had, died, he pretended it was because he couldn't shake the feeling that somehow it was his fault. When he saw Owlstar, a feeling rose in his chest that told him that he needed to protect her. That he couldn't let her down, because if he did, he would just let himself down at this point. All Icehawk wanted was for everyone to be happy, for Stormstar, his clanmates, and now Owlstar to be happy. He felt angry at himself because he couldn't do that. And he understood that it wasn't okay. So Icehawk will probably keep himself close to Owlstar, to make sure she's protected in every way possible, physically, and mentally. Knowing Owlstar, she'd probably brush him off and tell him she was okay, but Icehawk is stubborn and would stick by her anyway.

So Caelum is not a Riverclanner, or clancat at all yet, but I think it could be neat if the way he joined a clan was by befriending Owlstar. If you're not up for it starting out this way, feel free to disrigard this lol.



Caelum is the kind of cat who turns heads without trying. His snowy white fur gleams like moonlight, interrupted only by a constellation of light brown spots on his lower back, trailing into a similarly colored tail. His one eye is a sharp blue while the other one is dull yellow, almost gold-like, and they way they spark tend to suggest that he thinks more than he speaks.



He moves with leisurely elegance and sometimes appears flirtatious, but his intentions are always platonic and calmly playfully. His teasing turns distantly affectionate when he gets to know someone better, and it has never been mean-spirited.

Despite the charm and seemingly carefree nature, Caelum's sharp mind is always working. He picks up on subtleties, notices the things others miss, and has a knack for solving problems. He doesn’t seek power or leadership, and isn't too ambitious about that, but when given a task, he completes it with great efficiency. Overall Caelum is definitely more likely to guide from behind the scenes than to lead outright, preferring to be the one who nudges others toward the right decision, all while pretending he’s just “passing through.” He enjoys helping out quite a lot, but doesn't want to lose his mask of causality.

He has a deeply curious nature and tends to examine new places or objects with intense interest, sometimes sitting still for long periods, watching and thinking. Caelum doesn’t like to be idle for too long though - he thrives on motion and/or mystery, whether that’s following a herd of other animals for a while or examining decaying prey (this could match nicely with Owlstar I think).




Caelum is planning to join a clan perhaps sometime during or after the summer, since he has been interested in the group of clans with their religion (Caelum has his own beliefs, and I think he would enjoy to reflect over it while learning about Starclan) and traditions, and I think it would be interesting if the final straw convincing him to go through with it was befriending a Riverclanner.

• Mis-matched eyes! Caelum has one eye thats blue and one thats yellow, and idk I think it's cute that Owl also has asymmetry there
• Caelum has been curious about the clans for a while now, sometimes talking with a clancat here an there and had some flings both from clans and outside of them, but it has never been in love, so i think this could be interestng (even if it doesnt turn out to be romantic) (Caelum is also definitly a slow-burn cat, so that works out well))
• Being the way he is, if he was Owlstar became close, Caelum would likely accidentally start acting as perhaps an advisor of sorts? He enjoys debating and would likely be keen to share his perspective as a former loner and new to the clan

this is a friendship application, since owlstar is listed as straight.
however, if you are comfortable with it, gutworm may crush on owlstar.

Gutworm is a pain to be around for others. She's constantly on the move, whether she's training or taking extra border patrols. Now, while this does mean she's too busy to hang out around camp, it also means she's a significant asset to the clan. As of right now, she's hosting a training event, just in case the otters do become a problem for RiverClan.

I see a lot of similarities in these two's backstories. Like Owlstar, she had (has, lol) trouble listening to others, and was always trying her best to grow up faster. I believe Gutworm would enjoy talking to Owlstar because of her blunt nature- Gutworm cant stand cats who beat around the bush. She is also very impulsive, so it would be fun to watch Owlstar say "I want to do this impulsive thing" and Gutworm say "that sounds like a GREAT idea." She's also very dedicated to those she considers her family.
