Alarm flickered in his eyes. His nose stung with the horrid stench of the predator. Fennelwing pressed himself to the ground, ready to move if the creature came out of the bush.

The fox came out, followed by 2 younger foxes, but they were definitly old enough to fight. "We can't take on 3 foxes?! We have to get out of here!" He whispered to Fennelwing

No matter how much he wanted to fight the foxes, leaving was the better option.

Thistleripple ran after him, but the foxes saw him, and turned on him. The mother whipped around at him and snarled. "Fennelwing! Help!" Thistleripple cried as the foxes lunged at him. He clawed at their faces, scarin off one youngster but that just made the others angried. They attacked harder, clawing and biting at him.

Fennelwing heart raced, as Thistleripple got attacked. He hovered for a moment trying to use his better judgement. The flame-point pounced onto a fox's back, the one that was mainly focused on the other warrior, silver claws digging into the lean flesh. He struggled to maintain his stance as the fix whipped around, trying to get at the figure on his back.

Thistleripple had enough time to get to his feet, before the fox slammed its pawed down. He raked his claws on his belly, which sent it rearing upward. Not the best idea as Fennelwing was on its back... Shaking blood out of his eyes from a gash on his head, he continued to rake the foxes now open belly.
