Owlthroat trailed his way to the gathering, pushing through the ambling crowd of cats to find someplace comfortable to sit. He couldn’t be bothered with the whole other Clan business right now. A part of him hoped they failed to show so he could go back home and enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep but alas.
His yellow eyes glanced over his shoulder to find Coldpaw, one of the numerous apprentices. He offered a brief nod to the youngster.
Gatherings. Newtbelly wasn’t sure there were many things he felt so truly neutral about. What a drag these events could be, but they were never a truly negative experience. They were such… A nothing. He grumbled to himself, as he trailed round the side of the group. Just ShadowClan for now. That much was evident in the lack of revolting scents. No doubt that wouldn’t last long. Dawnstar was making her way to the Seastones already. He yawned with boredom. Maybe, for once, the other clans would start feuding. That would be a sight to behold.

she may be expecting- but no worries, she isn't so fat that she cant walk- so, the queen padded up with her clanmates and decided to look around "Newt-newtbelly! hello!" she meowed as she padded to the tom's side. "the smell here is revolting huh?" she asked as she sat down "always smells like enemy clans...ya know- gatherings but it just smells...I cant stand the smell of fish- that- that is super gross." she rambled on before turning her head to the larger cat cuz she's tiny... "so how are you today?" she asked softly.

Her first gathering!! Sure Venompaw might be a little late but she was doing other stuff at the time so who could blame her?! Bounding along the sand, the braided tabby explore the new environment, sniffing around and peeking in pace she probably shouldn't until the other clans arrived. She was so excited to bite befriend some new cats! Oh she couldn't wait!!!

rookfire trailed after dawnstar, silver eyes scanning their surroundings for a sign of the other clans. despite being towards the front of the crowd, he couldnt make out any unfamiliar pelts or smells. it appeared they were the first to arrive this time. without the added potential interesting spots to sit, rookfire padded through the rocky sand with no goal in mind.
he was curious if owlstar was going for a new 'longest leadership in riverclan' or if her deputy would be the one to lead riverclan to the seastones this time. itd certainly be humorous, if not a little pitiful. he wasnt one to feel bad for riverclan though.
"owlfluff" he announced his presence quietly before inviting himself to sit with owlthroat. a part of him wanted to ask the older tom what he thought of the matter, but ultimately decided against it. he didnt quite feel like gossip this late in the night. besides, he had seen the older speak to coldpaw briefly before joining and was unkindly reminded that he'd have to hunt down basspaw to get his apprentices training sorted. a repeat of the recent incident was certainly not on his list.
