Emberpaw lifted her head. She hadn't heard the original call, or maybe she had just chose to ignore it, but she bounded out anyways, finding the warrior. "You, Beachbark or whatever, can I still join?" She asked sharply, though her tone didn't really leave room for a 'no.'

Winterpaw looked at the apprentice, who was much younger than it. Urgh, why was it paired with a basically kit???? So annoying. The 28 moon apprentice took a breath. "Alright then." it meowed. It followed the warrior.
Before it made itself vulnerable like Beachsomething said, ducked, trying to quickly jab a paw at Patchpaw.

"oh- hello firepaw- since your joining, your with sprucepaw." he meows before turning back to the camp exit to continue his slow walk, wanting to make sure some more apprentices joined before they left. «•« ▇▆▅▃▂▁

The little apprentice looked around. Seapaw.... Seapaw... Nope, not a cat that she knew all too well. Bit of a shame Hickorypaw wasn't here, but he was probably having fun brooding somewhere or something. She'd have to surprise him later with the moves Beachheart was teaching them. Claypaw looked around before spotting who she thought was her training partner. At least, they looked like a Seapaw. She bounced over, and tried to give a playful swipe at their ear. "Heya, you wouldn't happen t'be Seapaw, would you? Nice t'meet you either way! Do you want to try going for a first attack... uh, first?"

Sprucepaw shifted as she was initially paired up with Beachheart himself. The prospect was both exciting and daunting. It would be easy to get direct advice that way, but everyone would surely be watching the warrior, and in turn, her. What if she messed up horribly? Beachheart said it was okay, but the embarrassment would be too much.

So it was good in some ways that Firepaw showed up as they were heading out. A little disappointing, but a relief. They looked to be similar in age, so they had to have similar experience, right? She padded up to him and gave a shallow nod. "Um... Hello."

Seapaw
he/they - 12 moons - Go with the flow

Oh goodness. A very young apprentice approached him, swiping at his ear - must be Claypaw. Well, at least they didn't have to worry much about getting battered. Though, they were a little worried that their paws would crush the poor kid! Sure, Seapaw was probably not very strong at all, but their legs were getting looong. "I am!" they responded kindly, "it's a pleasure to meet you too." The first move... Ah, oh dear, the first move. "Alrighty, watch out!" They chirped, lifting their left paw, and going for a very slow, light bap to Claypaw's head.

Asterpaw moved over to join Emberpaw. He hadn't seen them around, but then again he'd just gotten out of the nursery like a moon ago. He smiled, although it was just the tiniest bit strained.

"So... Emberpaw, right?"
