Berrypaw perked up her ears at Fadingsun's call. She timidly walked over, not wanting to directly insert herself into the throng until she decided. Mistyshard had already taught her some swimming, so...

The thought of battle hunting still greatly intimidated her as a fresh apprentice, and she didn't think she knew the territory well enough for any sort of land hunting. So... why not fishing? It was an integral part about being a RiverClan cat, after all, besides swimming.

Making up her mind, Berrypaw slinked over to where Kestrelskies stood, curling her tail over her paws as she sat down.

A training event, huh? Well, Wrenpaw wasn't opposed to more training - the faster she could become one of RiverClan's best warriors the better as far as she was concerned. Most of the stations felt boring and useless to her, except for the basic battle training, that was something Wren was actually very eager about. The faster she knew how to fight, the faster she could help beat ThunderClan's sorry ass the minute RiverClan decided to retaliate. And they were going to retaliate, even if Wrenpaw had to force her way into Birdsnow's den and demand action be taken. She could be quite persuasive when she wanted to be. A small smirk of triumph on her face, Wrenpaw pads confidently over to where Springburst is waiting for the fighting group.

Perking her ears at Fadingsun's call, Orchidpaw listened intrigued at the prospect of training. Great, she could definitely use some training since she was still a new apprentice and hadn't had any lessons yet so this would be a good oppurtunity and even she wouldn't pass it up.

Immediately stalking up to Kestrelskies, she wasn't too excited about learning to fish but eh, her mentor was teaching so she might as well learn from her first so she could move on with other stuff even if she wasn't that fond of the older she-cat.

Giving a curt nod of greeting, the young apprentice seated herself next to Kestrelskies and looked at her expectantly, slight impatience gleaming in her heather-blue eyes. Though she'd probably be rude and snappy as always she wouldn't cause too much of a problem, she wanted to learn after all, so she'd behave...well, she'd try too.

Tulippaw beamed at the sight of Strawberrypaw. She’d taken a liking to the other apprentice after their recent interaction with the mossball, and the calico was quite happy to see her again. She didn’t feel so alone now that she’d seen a familiar face. “You’re doing land hunting? Neat! I wanna do swimming first. We’re RiverClan! We’re known Clans for our awesome swimming skills! Of course that’s what I’m gonna learn first.” She said, puffed out her chest and straightening her act as she grinned like a proud RiverClan warrior. “Have you already learned the other skills? I haven’t gone out with Beanfloat at all yet. I’m sure he’ll take me soon though! It’s been busy for our Clan.” She commented.

Springburst had chosen a little clearing off to the side that she hoped was big enough. She was sure it would be if only one apprentice was approaching her first. The lionheart gave the apprentice a nod in acknowledgment, for now, she'd wait and see if anyone else would join them.
