A pair of amber eyes watched from the nursery, Leopardkits little head peaking out of the den as he watched his sister. He had no clue what she was doing, but she was distracted. His eyes twinkled and his ears twitched as a grin spread across his features.
Since Grovekit was busy and distracted by snowflakes, now we the perfect time to strike. He slowly crept out of the nursery, preparing to barrel into his sister. He got into a crouch then pounced, springing into her and bursting out into laughter.
Grovekit yelped as her brother tackled her. She tumbled to the ground, kicking up a cloud of fresh fallen snow. "Hey, no fair!" Scrambling back to her feet, she gave a playful growl and batted at Leopardkit's ears with one paw.

You know it was funny, from the position they were stuck in Mudhound was forced to face the reality that Sprucepaw was getting kinda big. Not like size big though he had certainly grown up and was well on his way to reaching adulthood. .....Now Mudhound wanted to cry! Their serious little Sprucey was growing up and what if he didnt want to spend time with his silly old mentor anymore! What if he wanted to strike out on his own and was out in the world with no one to tell him they loved him!

Oh no oh no oh no, how could they even fix this before it was too late and Sprucey was a big boy and didnt need them anymore!
This little panic happened while Sprucepaw padded around on the snow on their back unbothered by his weight. They were frozen, golden eyes wide before frantically trying to twist their head around (aided by the snow slowly being removed) and set to..... Fix the issue? Comfort themself? Dunno actually the action made little sense but it was very typical Mudhound as every limb and fleck of fur that came into mouth range got groomed.
The apprentice never really got upset when Mudhound set out to make sure he was the cleanest little guy though so maybe it was a good move? Whatever the move was Sprucepaws lower limbs were completely clear of snow flecks from his snow moss ball construction and tossing as the tripod tried to uncomfortably contort themself like an owl to reach.
Of course they were still kinda stuck while doing so buuuuuuuut that was small beans in contrast to making sure Sprucepaw had snow free paws. Even if it was impeding his ability to dig them out
He shrugged. "You seem tired though, maybe you should go to sleep," he said with a small laugh, getting up and stretching. "unless you have something else in mind... There are other places in the thunderclan territory," he said looking at Crowthorn. @CrimsonOaks
(also, does crowthorn have an apprentice?? I have an apprentice, Willowpaw, who is mentored with my other cat Mothdust, but they haven't done anything since the other apprentice kinda disappeared, then we could do idk 'duo training')

I walked across the clearing covered in snow and ice. The ground, which during the greenleaf season had been dry and bare, was now wet and freezing. I walked without a destination in mind. I took the opportunity and checked if the queens and elders had already been fed. I watched apprentices playing in the clearing. Since everything was calm and organized, I sat in my favorite spot and waited for something interesting to happen.

Elkkit tucked himself against the edge of the nursery, tugging a branch from the bottom between his paws as he rolled over onto his back and babbled complete nonsense. He was kind of bored. Not that there wasn't anything to do, he could absolutely wreak plenty of havoc and get all the attention in the world if he wanted, but he didn't really feel like making a big scene. A tiny one instead, maybe.
"bipdip bloo mahbahbahbahbahmAH!" He blew a raspberry to himself and yanked the loosened branch between his paws, tugging it further out of the nursery's wall as his partially-folded ears flopped with the effort.

Fernwillow could have sworn she heard babbling. Who... who was babbling. She looked up from where she was grooming herself near the warrior's den and spotted a bit of movement by the nursery. She stood and peered over at the strange little kit tugging on a piece of the nursery wall, and recognizing paired with a bit of exasperation flooded her. "Elkkit." She sighed, remembering his previous exploits with sticks. "Stop that, you'll bring the whole nursery wall down." She couldn't muster the ability to sound frustrated, however, a laugh evident in her voice.
