As they reached the Thunderglades, Boulderspots looked around. The smell of prey was strong in the air, this would be a good place for hunting. "Ok," Boulderspots meowed quietly, "I'll be in the trees over there." He indicated with his muzzle in the direction of a dense section of twisting branches and trees. He needed to get his stored up winter energy out, and this was the place to do it. "You hunt over there." He indicated in a different direction, he didn't want them scaring off each other's prey. "We'll reconvene here when we've both caught enough. Sound good?"

Sweetpaw went to her side to hunt. She hadn't been crounching long when she caught the scent of a rabbit. Perfect! she thought as she advance toward the scent. @Purely_K2

Boulderspots rushed toward a tree and climbed up it, stealthily and silently. He froze as he reached the main branch paths and looked around, eyes, ears, and nose all focused.

After a moment, he spotted a squirrel hopping between branches, not too far away. Yes! He thought to himself, glad that he could find something. He stalked it, slowly and quietly, until he was a few tail-lengths away from and above it. Then, he pounced, cleanly catching it with a swift, killing bite to its neck.

He went down the tree and buried it near the roots, going back up to find some more prey.

After catching the rabbit Sweetpaw heard a barking. Dogs! she thought. I need to find Boulderspots!
Sshe grabbed the rabbit and quickly raced to where Boulderspots was hunting.

Boulderspots heard some dogs barking, but he figured they were the ones confined to the twoleg nest near-ish by.

Sweetpaw ran. A dog wasn't far behind her. "BOULDERSPOTS" she yowled desperately. The dog was catching up to her. Sweetpaw decided she had no choice but to fight. She circled behind the dog and leaped on its back. @Purely_K2

A white cat with golden patches suddenly appeared out of nowhere, leaping head-on at the dog and scratching at its eyes. "Go find the other cat!" they yowled. "I can hold them off!"

The dog sounded closer than before, Boulderspots perked his ears and listened. Is it coming this way? Suddenly, he heard Sweetpaw calling for him. He rushed down the tree and toward the apprentice. "What? What's going on?" His voice was laced with panic as he spoke.
