Palepaw padded over to Mistpaw, the molly dipped her pale brown spotted head in greeting. "I'm Palepaw, a ThunderClan apprentice. This is my first gathering!" She purred, smiling widely at the other molly. She wanted to make friends, considering she was alone herself. She couldn't find Fawnpaw. Nevermind her though, Palepaw could find her later. Right now she had found a pretty mollie to talk to. And a good-looking tom/she-cat!

@Feathercreek hope you don't mind! I just think it would be funny bc scorch and frog fought at the last gathering even though their fight was cut short

Scorchstrike was absentmindedly wandering around, avoiding cats who were yelling at eachother. I do NOT want to talk to anyone who isn't Shadowclan right now. Guilt hung heavy over her heart. What if someone recognized her as Stripeseed's murderer? What could she say? What could she do? She wasn't concentrating on where she was going and tripped over a cat's tail, landing on her face. "Ow!" Looking up to see who it was, she inwardly freaked. The Windclan cat she had fought at the battle! Crap.

Silentpaw (responding to Wolfstrike)

Gatherings were scary! Cats were always mad, and they all seemed to be ready to kill each other at a moment's notice. What if a fight broke out! Silentpaw had no battle training! The only fight she had ever been in was retaliating against Frogpaw bullying her, and that didn't count. Silentpaw's first gathering would probably spoil all others she went to, even if peace had been restored by then. Trying to dodge angry cats, she bumped into Wolfstrike. "Wolfstrike! Thank goodness! This place scary!" Wait. Had she just admitted she was scared!? No no no! Backtracking, she clarified, "What if fight happens? Heard about last gathering, cats died. I no have battle training!"

Looking at the new apprentice Mistpaw smiled "My first gathering was awesome! I wish the leaders weren't bickering though", she added sadly. Well, Leaders and temporarily leader. Snakeheart and Lionstorm were doing a good job though!!

Toadpaw released a sheepish laugh his face filling up with both relief and joy. He was pleased, you always heard of the grumps that would give you a good ol smack for breathing the same air. The calico tom smiled faintly and turned to gaze at the high stones before back at the small she cat. “Heh- well you know. I tend to wander aimlessly sometimes. Happens to me more then most!” he gave a shrug before plopping down uninvited beside her. “Toadpaw! Windclan. I’m not.. entirely sure what you smell like. Sealight hasn’t actually taken me to the borders yet.. he kinda just blurted the names and hoped I’d remember” he let out another chuckle. ”mentors.. such pains in the tail”

"I'm Thunderclan," Mistypaw answered, "And that's okay. Every mentor teaches differently. I'm sure Sealight will teach you everything you need to know. Personally, though, I don't think mentors are 'pains in the tail'. Thistlethorn is great!" She probably shouldn't have said that, but the stubborn apprentice believed in speaking her mind. I hope Toadpaw doesn't hate me now...
