Seabreeze blinked and looked over at the voice of his favorite apprentice in the whole clan. Aspenpaw. It was strange, for a cat that acted like he hates Seabreeze, the younger feline was around him often. Though last time was for something Seabreeze had, so what was it this time? Certainly not even Aspenpaw was annoying enough to bother just because he could, actually, yes, yes he would. “Seasnail? Creative…” The warrior replied easily with nonchalant look and a tilt of his head, “Bet you came up with that one while looking in a puddle, yes?” The warrior almost wanted to just ignore the question shot at his new wound across the shoulders but figured why not.
“It does, but I’m lucky I didn’t get my head bit off instead. Otters are quite the menace.” Though if details of the battle were what Aspenpaw was looking for then he was just out of luck. Seabreeze wasn’t really in the mood to go about telling a big old story that Aspenpaw could get from countless other people who were probably a better storyteller than this warrior anyways. “If that’s all, you can go and bother someone else now.” He added with a small, dismissive, wave of his paw.
Aspenpaws ears flattened in response to Seabreeze's comment. "haha... funny" he sneered. Aspenpaws was satisfied much with the Warriors response about injury. Where was the dating tale? The juicy details? The things aspenpaws was looking for!! "wow jeez, you really are the lame. Survived an otter yet you have nothing to say??" aspenpaws scoffed in disbelief. If he had been on the patrol he knew for a fact he would stop yapping about it. He be telling everyone even cats he didn't know.
Ignoring the ex lionhearts words to buzzoff he continued to ask his questions. "how big were they? Were their claws really like talons? Did the look like fish with legs. Did anyone die? Did you almost die? Oh how did Floodsight do I bet she fought better then you"

As Goldfish approached the Skyridge in silence, she couldn't help but feel many feelings. Avenged, pleased, alive. The defeat of the otters gave her a slight sense of closure to her grief, even though the Molly remained quiet with a slightly downcast expression. Padding over near the base of the Skyridge she lowered her launches to a sitting position and curled her tail around her paws. The scattered scratches on her tail stung, but she was alive. That was all that mattered. Or that's what she would think, if Jayfrost wasn't dead. It felt like a painstakingly unfortunate accident, as though nobody truly understood. Perhaps Lioness did, a little bit, and Shellpaw. But they hadn't felt the same closeness to him as she had. Did they? It felt impossible. He was her closest friend. And now, he was just gone. No body to see one final time.. nothing. Maybe he was eaten by an otter. A tiny shudder ran through her spine before Goldfish straightened and looked up at Stormstar with a miniscule, friendly smile.
Brokenstream and Riftpaw padded curiously from their dens.
Rainpaw and Ravenpaw bounded over to join Riftpaw and Brokenstream. Rainpaw sat near Riftpaw, greeting him with a warm smile, while Ravenpaw sat closer to Brokenstream. Ravenpaw looked up at Brokenstream and beamed widely, eyes bright and hopeful that he wasn't disappointed in her anymore.
Rainpaw nodded to Brokenstream in greeting before touching noses with Riftpaw in a friendly manner. Since last meeting they got in trouble for chatting too much, she said nothing. She just wanted to greet her friend.

Lavenderleopard made her way over to the meeting, apologizing with a soft voice to any cat that she accidentally bumped into. Stars above, her wounds from the otter battle stung like hell; but would Lavenderleopard let that get the best of her?
The best answer to that was a simple no. The thick-furred Bengal had two apprentices - Crowpaw and Deerpaw - to train. They wouldn´t become warriors if she couldn´t be there to train them as their mentor, after all.
Taking a seat beside Goldfish - one of RiverClan´s Lionhearts, Lavenderleopard swiped her tongue across the herb-slicked shoulder wound that she had earned in the fight with the otters at Smallpines. Before doing so, however, she gave the Lionheart a nod of greeting, the bitter leaf-fall chill having no effect on the warrior.
