Stars, over six deaths, it sounded like. Snakechill's ears twitched. One bloody fight, and he was more than happy he'd missed it now. He drew his tongue over one of his forepaws, eyeing his Clanmates, looking for injuries or distasteful cats to avoid.
That Birch-? Bird-? B-something cat seemed like the type. Noisy. Doedapple for the same reason, plus the crime of being far more annoying. He ran his tongue over his jaws as the two apparently left, and glanced up at Birdsnow. "If anyone would like me to get rid of them, I'd be more than happy to," he called to no one in particular.

You feel the glass start to crack.”
Before Seabreeze could even really start to think on his response to Birchpaw the other was already padding off to stir up more trouble with her sister in the meeting. Well....not that Seabreeze was really leaning towards accepting anyways, when he said that he may want others to join the patrol he meant those that were more on the responsible side not cats that have are currently demoted for missing an herb patrol and starting fights in a clan meeting. Perhaps in the far future if she cleaned up her act, but even Seabreeze had enough reason to decline without his anxiety going haywire.
If the...apprentice... came back trying to join them hopefully Adderpaw would speak up for him because Seabreeze wasn't sure he would be able to decline someone even if it made sense. Whatever, the tom shook out his pelt lightly, the demoted warrior already toddled off which isn't saying anything good about how she would do on a patrol. Though for other cats joining....His blue eyes moved across the camp and its members. Most of the cats that Seabreeze would personally ask would likely be busy helping out already. Eventually, the tom hummed and turned his attention back to Adderpaw,
"For now, I think its best if it were just us, it'd be quicker that way."
The bickering that started to spread through the cats around him suddenly caught Seabreeze's attention and with a glance around him he found the most noticable members that were starting issues. Doedapple, that dared to question Mistypaw's abilities when the she-cat was an absolute shining star of what all cats in Riverclan should be aspiring to be, trying to defend her sister when Birchbranch- sorry, Birchpaw had been making things into a bigger deal than they were. The sisters' better watch themselves or else they would get into hot water and Seabreeze wouldn't disagree about them deserving it.
Oh, Cloverpaw, what has happened to our clan? Seabreeze turned to Adderpaw again, his ears pinned and he spoke, keeping his voice low as to not disturb the meeting but his thoughts were starting to get bad and he wanted a distraction,
"Anyways, after the herb patrol and fixing the roof, what're your next plans? I may request to maybe do more border patrols...though I am curious about your plans?"
[ @Shellwhisker (Birchpaw) @Fish (Adderpaw) ] (Also please note that this isn't my own ooc thoughts on you or the other rpers mentioned. Rather just what Seabreeze thinks of the cats in character Also quotes were being funny, so I mentioned you both instead.)

Adderpaw was asked what she wanted to do? What her next plans were? She was so taken aback with the novelty of this situation that the shock was clearly worn on her face. Once she realized the face she was baring she shook her head like an etch-a-sketch to reset her expression. "My plans? Well I suppose I never get time to think of my own plans. Unless my plans are just helping out the clan wherever I can. Whenever." Adderpaw mused on her own day to day actions. Maybe she should spend some time figuring out who exactly was Adderpaw. Ah this was all getting confusing and a lot of thinking, spare me.
Birchpaw / Birchbranch
Beefed Up Tier 2, Lyrebirds Lullaby
a pretty, dappled light-brown-and-white she-cat with deep amber eyes. ´´Looking like I know what to do with it.´´
____
Birchpaw had passed Duststorm on the way back to her sister, Doedapple.
Noticing her Clanmate´s nervous look, Birchpaw blinked warmly at the warrior and paused to murmur quietly into Duststorm´s ear.
´´It´s best to keep a positive demeanor, or else Birdsnow´ll never forgive you,´´ Birchpaw´s gaze was warm and friendly. ´´Otherwise, you better be cooking up a reason for why you attacked your own Clanmates during the battle. I have a feeling Birdsnow won´t want to discuss whether or not your actions were intentional.´´
Birchpaw flashed Mintslip a sympathetic look, as well, before turning back to Duststorm.
´´I do believe that Birdsnow said to head to her den after the meeting, so if you´d two like, you can come and sit with Doedapple and I for the rest of its duration.´´
Birchpaw gave a warm-hearted purr. ´´Relax and try your best to keep your temper cool with Birdsnow. She isn´t a cat you want to have an attitude with - especially since it is right after a raid. Admit you made a mistake and she may - just may - lighten up.´´
The she-cat slunk back over to Doedapple, looking back to see if Duststorm and Mintslip would follow.
[ Birch is just punished right now. She will regain her warrior name {Birchbranch} + full warrior status once more on March 12th. ]
Mintslip frowned as her name carried across camp and Birdsnow accused her of attacking a clanmate. Well, I did attack a clanmate, but it was an accident, she thought. As Birchpaw- Birchbranch?- gave her a sympathetic smile, her lips curled up into a returning one. With a small sigh, the light grey she-cat settled down to dread her upcoming talk with Birdsnow. At least I'm not the only one, she thought with a glance at Duststorm.
Of course, it wouldn't be a RiverClan meeting without some sort of commotion. Fadingsun only rolled his eyes as the source of this meeting's issues came to his notice: Birchpaw, the irksome cat who he'd demoted, and Doedapple. Fortunately, he didn't need to get involved; others stepped up quickly to take care of the issue, and soon the pair were leaving camp.
He snorted quietly to himself, thinking briefly that perhaps it would be best if they didn't return- at least until they both learned how to act. Birchpaw, especially. She'd been quite helpful around camp up until the whole patrol debacle; ever since she'd been moping around like he'd told her she was never going to be a warrior again. Hopefully she'd grow up and get over it.
Turning his attention back to the Floodstone, he listened quietly as Birdsnow began the announcements. Six dead, hm? Well, he supposed it could certainly be worse considering that their camp had been invaded. Still, it caused anger against ThunderClan to flare inside of him once more. He certainly had an idea or two about how they could retaliate, but he'd save them for a private conversation with the leader later.
Part of him understood the desire ThunderClan had for retaliation; after all, RiverClan's warriors hadn't exactly been shining beacons of respect as of recent. Nonetheless, invading their camp and potentially endangering their kits and elders was taking things way too far. Not to mention destroying one of their dens in the midst of leaf-bare.
His ears perked as Marigoldleap was announced as temporary medicine cat. Fadingsun whole-heartedly agreed with that decision; Margioldleap was composed, experienced, and capable of holding her own. He had every bit of trust in her to handle the Clan's healing duties until a permanent medicine cat was found.
Oh boy, it seemed one thing for certain hadn't changed during his absence. Slatestripe cast an amber gaze towards Birchpaw and Doedapple as they started some sort of commotion, which was quickly responded to by others- one of them being his former apprentice. Pride flashed in his eyes; one of the things he'd always wanted for his apprentices was for them to be able to handle their own, no matter what.
Not too long after, Birchpaw and Doedapple left the camp seemingly out of choice, and things quieted down once more. Shifting his attention back to Birdsnow, Slatestripe listened quietly as announcements continued on. There was the whole issue with ThunderClan- the gray warrior wasn't the least bit surprised that the ratty squirrel-eaters were up to no good again. He hoped Birdsnow would make good on her promise for retaliation.
It still felt strange to him to see the cat who had spent so long as an apprentice leading RiverClan. He had his doubts over whether she was the right choice; ever since Skystar, RiverClan had been plagued by bad leader after bad leader. He wanted Birdsnow to be the one to break the pattern, but only time would tell. Slatestripe liked her on a personal level, but on a professional one he was uncertain.
Awkwardness flared in his pelt as Marigoldleap was mentioned. Memories of their long-ago fling, combined with the guilt he felt over leaving his kits, swarmed him. It was almost choking, so much so that he had to sink down into a loaf position to contain himself. Stars, would these feelings ever go away? If he could go back in time and smack himself for leaving RiverClan, he would. Never again.

“Ocean waters rising above your neck
You feel the glass start to crack.”
The warrior stared at his companion for a bit, before laughing softly as he realized what she meant, “Sorry, sorry, I meant- yeah, I meant for helping out the clan. Though if you wanted to chat long term that’s fine too.” Though to be honest, Seabreeze had no idea what he’d be doing in the future.
“I…have no idea my long term plans. To be honest, I didn’t think I’d be around this long.” His plans were to be a warrior and to serve his clan with Cloverpaw. Currently, only half of that is obtainable now. When he was a young kit, it was make his parents love him but that’s fallen apart too. Seabreeze tended to over thinking the present rather than the future. Maybe try his paw at healing more? But now that Marigoldleap was here that would be less necessary.
Stagheart dipped his head in solemnity as Birdsnow listed off the cats who were lost during the raid; he'd attend the vigil and send prayers StarClan, thanking for their lives and service, however flawed. His wounds still stung from deep punctures, burning reminders of the travesty the Thunderrats committed. He was determined to help his Clan get back to full strength by whatever means he could so that if ThunderClan — or any threat, for that matter — had the nerve to try them again, they'd be ready next time. A force to be reckoned with, clever and strong, as they had always been.
He listened intently to the leader's words, briefly angered by the disloyalty and disrespect shown in his Clan. How these warriors could cause so much disarray and sleep well at night baffled him. His whiskers twitched in amusement as Dusklion told off the chattering cats just a few feet away from him, glad at least somebody was saying the words he wouldn't even bother with at the moment. The last thing RiverClan needed after all this torment was more bickering warriors — and apprentices, apparently.
Stagheart gave Marigoldleap an approving nod for accepting the temporary role. It was a large paw to fill, and any help would be appreciated. He was just grateful she was up for the job.
The large warrior then settled his tail on Berrykit's back, a quiet and minute gesture in hopes of settling the kit's anxieties. Surely she was nervous for what else this meeting held, especially with all of the internal fighting and disorganization their Clan was enduring. He hoped that someday — especially for Berrykit's sake — they'd be restored to their former glory.

The young molly’s tail swayed as she looked for an adult to sit by, she wasn’t being a kit but it would be nice to at least be by someone who would be there…for now at least. For now all Moonpaw did was sit semi close to Stagheart as she loafed beside the tom.

“One day I’ll be the greatest warrior of all the clans!”
"Oh!" Adderoaw murred in embarrassment and quickly cleaned her ear to distract herself from it. It seemed that Seabreeze was opened to moving the conversation so that would save her from most of it. "Yes in the short term I would like to just help with catching us all up on herbs and other important things. I hope that the warriors den doesn't take too long to finish. One day soon I'm going to be in that den!" She let out a little chuckle.
"As for long term plans?" Adderpaw began to ponder on such things. What was there for them to plan long terms on. Clan life didn't seem to make way for long term plans, just focus on feeding everyone. There was no sin in such a thing. Then again Adderpaw did want to become the deputy and somehow she was going to have to make herself seem like the shinning example. "I suppose all I could do is when I become a mentor is to be strict as possible." She mused as she looked over to all the trouble makers in her clan.
"I hope that if I am that there will be less cats that try to act out or lose their warrior names. If that is even possible." Adderpaw wasn't sure you could throw a rock hard enough at some of these cats to knock some sense into them. With it being this bad, Adderpaw wondered if even teaching someone young and strict would do anything. "I suppose I'm just going to have to try as hard as possible."
"And.." Adderpaw turned to face Seabreeze and put both of her paws on his paws and stared deeply into his eyes. "Look deep into my eyes Seabreeze." She demanded the older warrior. "You never wince at fate nor wonder how you are here now. You take fate with your claws and throw it around. You will stay here as long as your body will let you hold up. Fight against everything you can, the fight is never over but you are stronger than you know."

“H-…hi.” Moonpaw said in a soft semi quiet tone.
