They were just over halfway there even with how long it took his little speech to get done and Crowtooth stopped for a moment to let Maplebird process and try and take things in in detail.

"See its just like memorising a path to the seastone. A little long and complex but by the third time you do this you'll feel fine with it. Plus even if you get lost theres methods to get out, mark off paths to make sure youre not going in circles and you'll find the right one eventually and following your own scent. This path is long and that leaves rooms for mistakes but its a simple one. You'll memorise it Ive got faith. Come on I wanna show you the outskirts area theres this area blocked in my fallen trees with like a ton of sheep in there its so weird." The tom kept his rasping and drawling as friendly as possible as he rambled in the dark. Crowtooth has long since learned it did him better to not even allow himself to panic quietly or lose what little sence he had down here so maybe that'd help Maplebird too. Still soon enough he had to get going again so rising and coaxing the molly after him he set off through the deep and eventually met the brisk fresh air.

"Aaaaaand here we are! I done know how good this area is for hunting or herbs but if we run short on our territory anything might help and who knows maybe taking one of the sheep is viable.... Prolly not though hehe. If you wanna look around do but Imma just flop a bit before we head back yeah? Long walks always make me tired. Do what you wish explore the tunnels here I dunno just call me when your done and we'll mosey." With that Crowtooth did indeed flop half an eye open on the surrounding and leaving the other tunneller to do what she wished until they left.

The sudden noise and yelling caused Crowtooth to rear in surprise grunting as he hit his head hard on the roof of the den and rapidly back peddling to try and get out of the panicking mollies range. Ow. That, ow. Now back and the entrance the tunneller grumbled as he rubbed his aching skull confused and slightly grumpy now. Wasnt how he hoped for the molly to wake but he supposed if she was awake enough to yell (and joke? That had to be a joke right) she was fine.

"Coldamber whats with all the yelling youre scaring me and Gulltwist outta our fur here... We didnt do nothing but carry you back home after you fell offa that rock and hit your skull against another rock why are ya even yelling about your leg? You've been missing it since before I even knew you how are we to know.... And calm down Gulltwist of course she remembers you and everything why wouldnt she, the accident just confused her... Right Coldamber?" he rasped and drawled in his usual rough tone eventually lowering his paw and shaking his head to try and rid of the ache. Still maybe he was wrong about how calmly he was taking things, the medicine cat was reacting a little strongly for everything to be alright. Maybe she was in a lot of pain?

"Anyway your the medicine cat here not us, what herbs do you need us to get for your injury? Not like we know on our own though we'll take care of everythin we can I promise." That was reassuring enough to calm the molly right?

Cloverpaw looked around the apprentice's den. Wow! This was the den?! It was SO BIG! She bounded around the place, a wide smile on her face as she looked around. WOW! Who could she meet?! (OPEN)

Alright- seems okay so far. The tunnels where dark as always, the smell of dirt quite abundant. So, she had to memorize a path? Might be hard- practice helps apparently.. . She made a mental note to make sure to pay attention to every little detail.

Soon, Maplebird's whiskers picked up the usual breeze of the air- open air... Which of course meant, they where exiting soon. The light was bright as she exited the tunnels and into- some pasture? Oop yeah, definitely a pasture. The molly recognized the fluffy white animals called sheep,, only dangerous if you get under their hooves I believe. "Got it,,, you rest" she meowed back to the other tunneler. Maybe it would be helpful to check out the tunnels around here... Eh- she too was quite tired.. Okay- maybe also resting would be nice - Maplebird sat down in a grassy area [away from the sheep of course] and relaxed a little.

Hmm? Ah- Maplebird once again took the time [which wasn't too long] to sort out the she-cat's strange speech. Find something to collect for me? "Ah, okay- that's really nice of you." Next one. "... Why do I think RiverClan came? ,,, "Honestly- I don't really know..." Well, technically she thought of a few reasons, but didn't want to share.

Brindlefern quietly padded back into WindClan territory, her belly pain returning. She guessed her kits would come soon, but that wouldn't help the situation. She looked around, then called out "Twilightstar!" Brindlefern had some explanation to do, really, but it was not her fault that much. She felt belly pain again, and twitching her ears in irritation. Why did it hurt that much?

She was forcing herself to get out of the camp more, there was something wrong with her back leg, just some throbbing pain that came and went sometimes. It was easy enough to ignore when she was tired herself out and her stomach kept acting up. Dealing with irritational fears and walking helped her with that. Her ears shot up as she heard her name called, she moved towards the call on light paws, eye-locking on the queen as she stumbled towards her. "Brindlefern, what are you doing so far out here?" It wasn't often Queens moved out this far into the territory.

Omenscratch padded through Windclan territory in hopes to finding Twilighstar. He had no clue what had went on while he was gone. The tom had been through a lot. Two-legs had managed to snatch him up while he was hunting near the Shadowclan border. That was many moons agao and he had finally managed to escape. "Twilightstar!", called Omenscratch. He was hoping his daughters weren't dead. If they were would they be glad to see him? He hoped so.

The lilac she-cat turned her head towards the call, she had been taking a break, ducking her head down to clean her back hind leg. There was something infected, she was half sure of it that or she stepped on something. The sight of Omenshade coming towards her had her take her eye off what she was doing and give him her attention. He's been missing for quite a while.

"You're back, where've you been?" She asked, glancing at the tom for any signs of injury.

Coldkit twitched her whiskers; where was she? She sniffed the air and gasped; this was Clan scent, she knew it was. She paced around a bit more and beamed; she was right against the WindClan border! She knew it! She ran over towards the entrance, looking around for familiar faces. "I've come back!" she announced proudly.

Twilightstar had been laying around basking in the warmth of the sun. Her head was still pretty everywhere, some things still hurt, but breathing and relaxing help that which was something she was trying to do. She raised her head at the call of her name, scowling down at the kit that came darting into the camp. She had no clue what she was going to do with these kits that kept 'looking for an adventure.' "Coldkit," Twilightstar said, blinking her eye and sighing. "I assume you have a good reason as to why you weren't in camp?"

"Yes?" The molly exhaled heavily as she got to her paws and padded over to to the cat calling her name. "Lioncloud? You alright?" The leader tipped her head to better focus on the she-cat.

The scary cat left! Ashkit was happy to hear that. Dawnstar was terrifying. And Twilightstar was back, even if she did look a bit... battered. That was a bit strange. When you came home, you were supposed to be happy, right? Happy and healthy. She sure was. She awaited the next answer anxiously, listening for the words "she's here." But those weren't what she got.

"What?" She felt a pang in her chest. Sparkfire was gone? In StarClan? Ashkit was still young, but not too young to know what that meant. That couldn't be true, though. Twilightstar was probably joking around, trying to get a reaction from her. Maybe. She didn't hit Ashkit as the type to joke around, though. Especially not like that. "I was looking for her," she whispered.

Twilightstar felt terrible for the kit, she knew exactly how it felt to be gone and return only to find the ones you were hoping were waiting for you, gone. It hurt, and she was sure that it hurt Ashkit even more considering how young she was and that it was her mother.

"I'm sorry, Ashkit." The leader meowed solomly. "I know it won't help, but I'm sure that she'll always be watching over you." There was much more that could be said or done about it. Even though Twilightstar had been curious about the kit's whereabouts, if she had ran off after Dawnstar showed up, then Twilightstar couldn't really blame her. "Come on, let's get you back to the nusery."

Brindlefern had a slightly dazed expression on her face. "I'm sorry." she started "I.. I was going for a walk, but then I couldn't see camp anymore" she meowed "I also started feeling pain at my belly, and then collapsed" Brindlefern finished. But was that even a valid excuse? She wasn't sure, but it was the truth.

Ashfeather hesitantly padded into the leader's den, glancing from side to side nervously. The last time she had been in here was after she and Rosebriar had had their warrior ceremonies, when Twilightstar had wanted to talk to them. She paused for a moment, then sucked in a deep breath, physically and mentally preparing herself for what she felt like she had to do. Honestly, she wasn't exactly in the best condition. Her pelt was dull and matted, especially on her nearly immobile, mangled tail, and she was so skinny that she probably looked more like a corpse than anything. Her natural skinniness compared with the fact that she was eating less than normal didn't do anything to help her strength.

"Twilightstar, I..." she began. Her distorted voice sounded even worse since she hadn't spoken in so long. The ex-queen shook out her messy, clumpy pelt, swallowing hard. A tiny bit of drool caught on the corner of her mouth, but it was small enough that the WindClan leader shouldn't notice it. The recent events flooded through her mind: the way they had positively broken her. Her two kits running away from the Clan: first Ravenkit, then Whitekit, following in his pawsteps. Her attempt to put together some sort of rag-tag "rebellion," which wasn't even a rebellion! It was just a group of apprentices, one queen, and hardly any warriors to try and find their leader. And what had that gained her? Rosebriar and Wolffang, and who knew who else, thought of her as a traitor for "deserting." Wolffang definitely hadn't been happy about his apprentice, Morningpaw, who had ended up staying in the fighting.

Tears had begun to pick at the corners of her eyes, but Ashfeather forced them down and made herself lift her head. She had to sound as confident as possible. This was her leader, for StarClan's sake! She had to be appropriate and formal. Forcing her voice to be steady, the warrior finally managed to keep talking. Her voice was shockingly steady as she spoke, although it felt brittle, as though it were on the verge of breaking.

"Twilightstar, I don't think that we should move the camp. There's... there's just been a large fight, and the Clan is just managing to gather together. We need time to recover. Some of them might be too weak to move on. And... and this is our home. We've lived here for plenty of time, and besides, where else on the moor would suit us?"

That hadn't been the main reason why Ashfeather had decided to ask, though. Those were other thoughts drifting in her mind, yes, but they were more like pesky flies. A small voice in her mind murmured, Who do you think you are, having any say in what happens to your Clan? Another whispered, Don't be so selfish.

This isn't selfish. It's selfless. We can't move, we just can't. And she had to tell Twilightstar the real reason why.

"If we moved, then my kits wouldn't be able to find the way home," she blurted, then continued, because surely Twilightstar wouldn't know. They had left after she'd been captured... and Breezefeather had been killed. "Ravenkit ran away not too long after Dawnstar took over. I wish I knew why. He seemed to have some sort of... of purpose that I couldn't understand. But they were both so close to becoming apprentices... And Whitekit followed him, too. They won't know what's happened to us. What if they come home, and - and they just find an empty camp, with no cats in it? How would they ever find us?!"

Ashfeather realized how panicked she probably sounded, and tried to force herself to calm down. She sounded too frantic, unlike the calm and collected air that she'd attempted to put on before. Her broken, crooked, and twisted tail would've been lashing from side to side if it had been normal, but instead, it just ended up twitching violently in various spots. The dented light gray tail-tip moved so much that it managed to brush against her undersized ears, where it rested just behind and between. Desperately, she looked at Twilightstar, begging for her to understand how much this meant to her.

“Yes, I- ran into a thunderclan patrol... t-then.. sootstar told me to run and I- fainted and... I dont know how long I was out..” she replied. @Moonraven

Coldkit hesitated. She thought Twilightstar would be a bit happier to see her back. "I don't know! First I'm in the Nursery then I'm outside camp! I don't know if I was sleepwalking or just got dragged out of camp." She felt nervous. What if one of her Clanmates did try to take her away from WindClan?
