Father/Daughter Times
(Roleplay- Grandkits or Bust)
Hmmmmm... Okay. Doetuft apparently had a "someone" and Flintspirit had actually met him met him. But if he was going to be a part of the family, which there was no doubt in Flintspirit's mind that he wasn't, young cats in love could be seen a mile away, the tomcat needed to get something into Doetuft's brain. And that something was the matter of grandkits. He needed them. And wanted them. And she was going to provide that, one way or another.
But... he had to be sneaky about this demand. And what better way to do that then turning a seemingly innocent, chill conversation into his plead for grandkits to happen? Nothing could go wrong, right?
Flintspirit spotted the feline in the clearing, and padding up to Doetuft gave her a playful poke on the shoulder. "You feeling like a romp through the woods? Just like old times?" He questioned with a smile, tilting his head ever so slightly. He had to seem innocent, Doetuft would never agree to anything if she knew what she was going to be getting herself into by agreeing to come with him.

She was taking a day off. Her wounds from that stupid buzzard attack was still healing and it was as annoying and frustrating as could be imagined. Her hind leg was aching constantly the wound had apparently gone deep but still, a few days of rest was all she wanted before she was out and about and this was why she was sitting in the clearing. Walking. Albeit a tad bit slower than usual but she was still up and walking and trying to just... not let the muscles deteriorate from much rest. Already her muscles were hard for her to keep on her body, fat too, so it was better to just... keep at it. At the poke though, not that she was all to surprised after hearing the drawl of her father, she rolled her eyes and turned towards him, listening intently to what he was saying. A run through the forest it was? Not entirely sure how fast she would be able to run, she took a moment, a deep breath to debate it before narrowing her eyes. 'Old times' had been good... but not as good as she'd felt in Shadowclan, although the issues in Thunderclan wasn't due to Flintspirit but rather their incompetent leader at the time, she was still... a bit suspicious. In truth ever since Flintspirit had shown up things in his company never went the way she was expecting but he was her father and she had missed spending time in his company, just... with him. "Yes...sure. Although... not so sure how fast... I can run with... the damned... buzzard wounds... but we shall... try shall... we not." And with that she sent him a smile... of a sort. Because in her head she was still thinking what the hell she was being dragged into. They didn't just... run for the sake of running.

Re: Father/Daughter Times
- @Arie -
Flintspirit had started to realize that Doetuft was a lot more reckless than he'd originally given her credit for. She'd gotten more scars and wounds in the past few moons than Flintspirit had gotten in his entire lifetime. Well... probably not but... it seemed that way, with how much she seemed to be getting hurt.
While he was concerned, the concern was more of a... Oh please don't die but you know how to take care of yourself and maybe this will teach you to stop being stupid concern. So he didn't say much about the wounds, because he didn't want to draw attention to it. She was reckless and probably realized that, and he wasn't going to dote over the small things like that when clearly she was fine, and not dying. Beastspark could do the doting, he was good at that, the softie.
"Well then we'll walk." Flintspirit decided, flicking his tail for the feline to follow. "Walking is just as effective, still gets you somewhere, right?" He meowed with a small smirk, glancing back at Doetuft. By now she probably knew something was up. All according to the plan though. He wanted to give her a bit of a heads up that this might not exactly be a conversation she'd enjoy having.

Oh no. Shaking her head, anticipation becoming more of a bother than anything right at this time, she just gave in and followed Flintspirit, albeit slowly but still keeping up a reasonable pace ignoring the pain in her leg. If it had been any other cat who'd asked her to follow them out and up on a walk like this she would've refused. She knew that. But... it was Flintspirit. And he'd asked somewhat nicely. Somewhat. And that was how Flintspirit asked questions, or well asked things in general, always 'somewhat' nicely. Never... fully nice but she was used to and narrowing her eyes at his comments she shook her head once again. He was hinting at something... and she was not sure that she liked what he was going to say. Doetuft did enjoy spending time with her adoptive father but also these things could just as easily go wrong as they could go well, and so... it was a waiting game. Or so she thought. Walking steadily though she bumped her shoulder against his as they walked a while without anything been said and she was getting more and more suspicious and impatient. Another trait, despite how bad it was, she'd developed in Shadowclan. "What... did you... drag me out... here for? I know... you well enough... or well... I would like to... say I know.. you well enough... to know... when something... is up." And something was most definitely up she just didn't know what yet and she wanted to know what it was he wanted. "Are.. we going to continue... walking or... will you share... what is on... your mind?" She probably shouldn't have prompted him and was already regretting it... somewhat. Was he going to embarrass her? Maybe... she didn't know.
