Just the beginning of her teachings to kits and she was about to teach more things to a kit. Foggypaw gave a smile of satisfaction that the kit had nailed the first part of the basic fundamentals. From that point on, the other stuff should come a bit naturally to Viperkit.

“Alrighty now! Try to keep most of your weight onto your hind legs, then spring at that pinecone while lightly landing.” Foggypaw ordered.

"Ok!" Viperkit meowed. He suddenly leaped towards the pinecone and landed in front of it. He turned towards Foggypaw. "Can I try again? I didn't get the stupid pinecone"

“Practice make perfect, try again! You can step back a bit and find your perfect distance!” Foggypaw encouraged as she stepped back a bit for the kit to have more space.

Viperkit padded back a little farther from his original starting place. He crouched down and leaped towards the pinecone again. "Ow!" he meowed in surprise as he landed directly into the pinecone. @Elementals
