Darkpaw blinked back, nodding a bit, then crept in said direction, her paws falling lightly on the ground; sure enough, there was a small mouse nibbling on a seed. She crouched, then leaped, swiftly delivering a killing blow to the creature before silently thanking StarClan for the catch.

softpaw nodded and stalked around a bit, she had finally grabbed the strong scent of a mouse and some type of...bird! softpaw stalked forward more and right there on the ground was a vibrant light blue, blue jay! she looked over her should to firehawk, she wasn't sure what to do next.

Once the two had gotten to the hunting spot, Russetstrike had split off. Yes he didn't know how to swim yet but, he did know how to hunt. Thankfully, he quickly scented a chipmunk and had dropped into a hunting crouch. These prey were very familiar to him as they were extremely common in the pine forests of ShadowClan.
Crawling forward, making sure not to make any sort of noise, he got closer and closer till he was in striking distance. Getting ready to pounce, the chipmunk had decided to run a little ways off which left him annoyed. Quickly moving back into position, he killed it swiftly. Picking up the prey animal, he raised his head to look around, not seeing Ripplewhisker nearby, he just put his prey in a hole near a tree and covered it.
Ready for his next catch, the russet tom looked up to scent the air but, was greeted by a bird sitting on a branch. This would be easy enough if the bird came down, which of course it didn't and flew away when it had spotted him. Giving a small shrug, he set off for more prey. Which he quickly found was a robin hopping on the ground. Similar to the one he had spotted in the tree. Getting ready and bolting forward with a leap into the air, he had caught the bird easily.

Trotting back to where his chipmunk was, he had both his prey in his mouse and went looking for Ripplewhisker.

Nighttuft could barely hear the apprentice's call. "I'm not sure, but it's the only way out if you don't want to stay stuck!"

Dawnpaw took a deep breath and continued following the breeze, every hair on her pelt standing on end, making her double her size. She reached a small opening, enough for the breeze to get through, but not her. "Nighttuft?! Nighttuft! I found a hole... But it is too small for me to fit through, and I don't feel another breeze."

Rascal heard Bumblebelly's voice, thinking it was just one of the voices in hisa head. After a while he caught scent of him. He wiggled a little bit and managed to brush his pelt on the older toms nose. The young tom let out tiny purrs and mews. It was to tell him 'thank you for finding me'. Rascal calmed down a bit and let out a yawn. He was absolutely tired.

Ripplewhsiker watched as the tom trotted off for prey, shrugging and turning to hunt on his own. He was glad the tom had a little more confidence than he had expected, it meant he didn't have to worry about them not knowing how to hunt the prey around the territory. Ripplewhisker set off by himself soon after, catching the scent of a water vole quickly. His muscles tensed as he stalked the grass, pouncing and landing squarely on the small target. Of course, it was a little sloppier than expected, and the silver tom had scared away a few nearby prey. He cursed at himself internally, but shrugged it off, no time for grumbling now.



Burying his catch, Ripplehwisker had already scented another piece of prey, a small thrush pecking at a small bush for seed. He could already feel his muscles bunch, leaping towards the light colored bird with claws extended. The thrush had managed to catch on to its situation however, and attempted to flutter away, just barely out of Ripplewhiskers claws, creating a flurry of feathers around the silver tom. "Mouse-dung!" He exclaimed, lifting his head. Well, now would be a good time to look for Russetstrike, hopefully he caught something better than Ripplewhiskers puny vole.

'You were just made a warrior.' she thought to herself, 'Shame it's gotten to your head so fast. No wonder our warriors never seem to get anything done, they've all got their heads so far up their own-'

"Alright! Where to? What do I need to know?" she piped up as they exited camp, trying to keep her tone cheery and friendly.

As they went further into the territory, she was vaguely aware of willowkits glare, though she shook it off. Humming, she shrugged, "Well, first, we're going to shadowclans border. Those mouse brains are always stirring up trouble!" she mewed, darting off with her tail streaming behind her. "c'mon, you slow-slug!" she exclaimed as she ran off.

dayheart excitedly chased after bumblebelly. "no fairrr!! you got a head startTT!! well, y'know what?? i'm gonna beat you anywayss!! good luckk, darling!" he squeaked, putting all of his valuable effort into trying to get ahead of bumblebelly. it noticeably wasn't working, as he was still dragging far behind, but at least he was trying! the warrior began quickly skipping instead of running---maybe that would work better? he honestly had no clue what he was doing, but skipping was funner, so skipping was what he was going to do!
