You have to think mathematically. If this cat has a defect that makes hunting a bit harder, then the cat must have another good quality to outweight the first flaw and actually be a good hunter. Mayeb you can have them use claws along with the teeth to kill prey. Try to do this: put a fruit in front of you and freeze half of your mouth. Can you still bite at it in a good way? How deep can you go? Try to imagine these things yourself.
They also have. Ultimate Predator. Which makes them a good hunter I think. Also I think I’ve shown them using claws to kill prey as well as their bite……. At some point. I think it was a fish thing

so I have a kit who im planning on roleplaying with a malformed jaw and I was wondering 1. if it would be realistic and 2. would this cause any serious complications or put him at risk for death?

1. Yeah, maybe the mother had some issue in the last phase of pregnancy and the kit ends up with this malfunction (bonus points if it has also different internal stuff. You can play around with various problems!)
2. As with any other thing, it depends. Since it's the jaw, the number one problem I would see here is: does it affect nutrition? If it's the jaw bone only, it might not. But I would see here a problem with trachea and esophagus too, which means trouble eating and breathing. Although I would keep them minimum, but you can really experiment with anything you can think of!

currently she's having chills, coughing fits and i want to add onto it.
i think it would have to do with her nervous system or internal organs failing due to old age but then again she's 91 moons old [7.5 years old] so shes not really...old old.
