ooogh that one's hard... actually really difficult to pick for Bumble but off the top of my head without really sitting down and thinking super deep about it, it's her voice. she's picked up little vocal quirks from cats she's been close with over the years and they haven't ever really gone away. it's why she talks the way she does. it happens a lot less now that she's older, I can't think of any examples that have come out of the past year or so.

- as far as physical quirks go, she does not understand what rest feels like because she's barely had even one opportunity in her near 50 moons of living to experience genuine rest so even when she hits the sack for the night her body forces her awake after an hour or two because it's anticipating something to happen. she 100% always looks like she's running on empty and her inability to sleep is why she spends most of her nights standing guard instead of in her nest

Mountain is probably my second favorite to write even though I have a really strong love/hate relationship with doing so. objectively he sucks. getting into that mindset ALSO sometimes sucks. he's gotten so deep into playing the sleazy snake-charmer role that it's not just limited to verbalized indicators, it's wormed its way into every single thought and action to the point it's become inseparable from who he is. writing that is exhausting and sometimes downright nauseating but also in a way very rewarding? like yes he's awful but I take a sick joy in knowing that so far regardless of how he really is the narrative has sided with him pretty much every single time and always makes him appear in the right IC. it adds another layer to it. i will take those layers and run with them

I'll be honest I don't really remember a lot of the 2016 stuff. I'd just started middle school then, I'm about to be a junior in college now, it's too far back for me to really pick out anything specific. The biggest thing I can recall is the structure. Meetings weren't always interactive, events you see always popping up weren't really a thing, there were no allegiances system or activity checks to help boost your involvement. Was kind of a Wild West feel, almost, if that makes sense. Like obviously things were still moderated but roleplay-wise everything was a lot looser. I prefer the version we've got now. It's easier to get involved with things and it's made for a much better experience overall.

Haven't been consistently active for the past almost nine years, there's been a few times early on where I took some really lengthy breaks just because I lost interest but always ended up gravitating back toward it. I haven't had a break that's lasted me over a month in several years now, the last one would've ended in... I think late 2019 was when I introduced Buck so maybe then? For me personally what keeps me around is the people. I've tried other forums, even a few Discord roleplays, but nothing else really clicks like WCO has. There's been some incredible folks on here over the years and even though a lot of them aren't active anymore I wouldn't have stuck around without them. If I didn't like the vibe I wouldn't still be here!

I'm not much into the show anymore. Rainbow Dash was my favorite as a kid. I think I just thought she was the coolest one.

A longer pause. Her scowl darkens. "Would've taken more time with the otters, too, figured out a- a better way. Maybe Dragonflycliff would still be alive, Ravenfire would still have both her eyes." She blinks, as if shaking away something invisible. "Silver linings, though, I guess. Helped flush out the useless loose ends, if nothin' else."

Bumblebreak is tired. She doesn't really have a favorite thing about herself or something she's done. Boring, I know. You can throw something at her. Don't tell her I said that.

Mountaintalon has been having a GREAT day. Yes, I know he looks like he's plotting someone's murder in the corner. That's just his face, don't pay him any mind. He likes sparring. His favorite thing about himself is that no one knows. 'Know one knows what?' That's not for you to know

Lupinepaw is bored. Oh... okay somebody better grab him before he starts something, that's never a good sign. He loves to shirk work and start fights that he can't finish and his favorite thing is that he is CLEARLY better than everybody else. I mean just look at him. Prime specimen right there, no one comes close.

Grottopaw has no opinion on the day, it just is. He also looks mildly uncomfortable and a little irritated with being asked all these questions. Since he's not going to tell you, he likes collecting bones from prey and stashing them in a secret hideaway so his kleptomaniac of a sibling won't find them. He thinks having a favorite part of oneself is egotistical and symbolic of a fragile mindset.
