Make sure to congratulate Versailles on their promotion from c-mod in training to fully fledged chat moderator! They've worked very hard, and we can't wait to see where they go from here!
Oh, oh, okay! Quiet time. She could do that. Yeppppp, she could definitely do that. The apprentice rocked from side to side, desperately fighting the urge to bark out every thought that cane to her head. MMmmm Quiet quiet quiet, being oh so quiet, she sang in her head, a last attempt to force silence. She could be quiet in battle lessons, but not whilst talking to her friends!
Suspense, aaaaaaanddd.... Weird! It tasted weird! But weird good or weird bad? The suspense was killing her! OH! Weird in an everybody will go crazy way?! Well, that sounded good enough to her! She squealed with glee, “yes, yes, we must!” A big grin spread across her face. “But who to tell, where to start? There were so many cats in WindClan, they could pick anyone - or, or, or they could do a big announcement from the Galewood! Well - actually - that idea disappeared quickly. Ma would probably be a little angry, if they did that. But - WAIT, GASP. "We should form a bug catching guild! A group of apprentices that are super-duper good at bug catching!"
The ticked apprentice’s maw gaped in surprise from Shrikepaw’s concept. A guild!? Of bug-catching apprentices? Could this really be it? “YESS!!!” Carppaw yelped while adding a few more thrilled bounces. She’s already eager to establish the group by recruiting a few fellow apprentices to help hunt down bugs with. Oh, stars, where to start, where to start…
“Oh, I know! If clans have ranks, then why don’t we add ranks to the guild as well?” She mewed. “There will be bug-hunters, then the super-duper-bug-hunters, then the bug deputy, and then the bug leader!” Her tone progressively raises the more ranks she mentions. But who would be the bug leader and bug deputy, if they both created the group? “Well, let’s just make us both bug leaders! Carpstar and Shrikestar! No…” She shakes her head. “Shrike... bug, and Carpbug! Heheheh!” Changing their names without the leader’s permission would be impolite, but simulation will be enough.
CW: this character often experiences symptoms of PTSD and anxiety.
Fleetflash (heh, he still couldn't get used to it), paced the clearing nervously near the warrior's den. He was awaiting his mentor- no...his previous mentor. Big sister? Dustbunny. He was waiting for Dustbunny. His whiskers twitched anxiously and his tail swished high in the air behind him. But he wanted to ask her something important...he just hoped she'd be okay with the question.
{ @Moonraven - Dustbunny - just when you thought you were done with me LOL }
So, Dustbunny didn't have any more apprentices to train, and now she had too much time on her paws and no clue what to do with it. She would have gone outside, but needed a companion to do that, and despite how good she was with her apprentices, if cats weren't assigned to hang out with her, she wasn't one to bother them. So she spends time checking on the tunnels underneath the camp, reinforcing them, and all that fun stuff. Eventually, her stomach reminds her to eat, and she finishes shoving in one more stone to reinforce the tunnel walls and pops out of the hole behind the nursery.
She's shaking dirt and bugs from her pelt as she circles the nursery and spots a familiar face near the warriors' den. For a mere second, she thinks she missed a training session before recalling they were done with that. Not her apprentice anymore.
"Fleetflash," she purrs, wandering over to the tom, hunger forgotten. "Are you wanting for someone?"
[Have him bug her as much as you want! She'll get lonely and bored otherwise.]
Cottonpaw
he/him | Windclan Apprentice | 13 moons The Collector - Lucky Duck T3 - Survival Instinct - Chill of Death The Stowaway Child
Cottonpaw bathed in the soft afternoon light of the clearing, a breeze trickling gently through his soft ivory fur. It felt pleasant, he couldn’t complain much. His leg of course, still an ongoing matter. Once he tried his very best to push into the far corners of his mind. It was healing, and for now that was all he could really hope for.
Yet again he still found himself, sat out here alone. He imagined Shrikepaw might be off training or dosing in the Apprentice’s den, perhaps Ashpaw was doing the same too. He missed his training, whilst he was injured it had been a struggle sometimes to keep himself busy. The Medicine Den became stuffy and overwhelming at times. It was hard not to yearn for the days, practising something with Leechscar, exploring the territory without the lurking fear that his leg would be snapped up again. But when it came down to it he’d push through it of course, he had to. He’d promised Mama a visit to Starry Meadow and he would deliver on that promise, perhaps just a lot later than he had ever envisaged.

Racconpaw
7 Moons
She/Her
There was a soft crackle of leaves, followed by an awkward little thump — and then, suddenly, a face. Racoonpaw’s face, to be exact. Upside down. She had somehow managed to appear just over the edge of a sun-warmed log near Cottonpaw, peering at him with wide, inquisitive eyes, her chin resting on the bark like she’d been growing there the whole time. “You are real,” she said, voice full of astonishment, as though she hadn’t quite expected him to exist. “I thought maybe I imagined you. Cottonpaw, right? The one who got chomped?” She flipped herself over the log in a dramatic half-roll, landing on her paws with a soft grunt and a swish of her oversized tail. A few stray twigs clung to her scruffy pelt, but she didn’t seem to notice. Or mind. Or register them at all. “I’m Racoonpaw,” she said cheerfully, sitting down without invitation. “You don’t know me, but I know of you. Not in a creepy way. More of a 'heard you’ve got an unlucky leg and a dramatic story' way. I like dramatic stories. They’re usually full of useful symbols and moral consequences.” She blinked slowly at him, then added, “Anyway, you looked lonely. Or contemplative. Or both. That’s kind of my favorite combination. Mind if I sit here and be mysterious at you?” Her ears flicked as the breeze tousled her fur further, and she gave him a hopeful sort of grin. “I’m very quiet when I want to be. And very annoying when I don’t.”

TIGERKIT
Windclan Kit ~ 0 moons ~ She/Her
"Shoot for the stars"
Tigerkit grinned at her father, snuggling down onto his head, golden eyes half closed. Her thick, fluffy tail flicked back and forth, and one of her tiny, black tipped paws hung down in front of his face. Messy dark brown fur ruffled further by the wind, Tiger nodded in obvious agreement with Lightnight. "Yea! I can be the judge! Make sure no one is being cheaty!" Yes, that was an excellent idea. With a flick of her golden ear, the little she-kit dug her little claws into Lightnight's fur as she shuffled around, the Tiger-hat seemingly making herself more comfortable in a position where she was facing her siblings down on the ground.
Goldie grins, racing over to Howls and Sweets, running around them with an enthusiastic bounce in her step. Mossball? Chase? Those are okay, but she likes the latest suggestion even more! The poofy-furred kit giggles and jumps on Howls, her tail whisking in the air.
"So like keep away?" She chirps the question, the question aimed at her father, "Can we do it, can we do it, can we do it??"
She knows possibly every game there is, keep away is loads of fun. Loads. She bops Howl's nose before getting off of him and switching targets, pouncing on Sweet.

Shrikepaw
she/her - 8 moons
Yesyesyes! Carppaw agreed! Ah she was so happy! And, she had more to add. Perfect! They were gonna have ranks - oh - oh - and leaders! "Yes, yes! Perfect!" She grinned, "thank you Carpbug!" Hehe, new names! It was all so exciting! Their next problem, though, was to find some recruits - what's a guild without members? "Hm. I think it's a leader's job to find new warriors, right?" What did ma do all day? Must be stuff like that. After all, she was th eone to find Cottonpaw, wasn't she? "Well! I decalre that our first job as leaders, is to find some recruits!"
"Fine, but I would've made a better judge..." Howlkit said the latter under his breath. Arguing was a waste of breath, and the sooner they started, the sooner he could go find a place to nap. Preferably without his sisters interrupting him again. Ugh he could use some more sleep.
Howlkit's coarse fur stood on end when Goldenkit leapt on him. With a startled mewl, he swatted at her. No claws, just light batting. "Get off me! It's not part of the game."
