Patchpaw
Riverclan Apprentice ☙ 7 moons ☙ Any Pronouns "Believe you can, because you’re halfway there."
Patchpaw sat in the clearing. Clearly annoyed. His tail swisher against the ground causing dust to stir up. He stared at the leader's den. Debating if he should go chat with Owlstar. Eh. The apprentice roller onto his back, soaking in the sunlight.
Wildfoxglove walked out into the Clearing to get some fresh air. She yawned loudly and blinked a couple of times. She wanted to talk to one of her clanmates.
Aspenpaw bowed in a long stretch and yawned. The sun felt warm against his smoky grey striped fur and a single glance to the sky told him today's weather would be good. The sky was practically clear except for one or two small clouds. Great weather for hunting! Or any venture into the territory. Alas he was not a warrior and therefore could not just go for a stroll alone. Bright amber eyes scanned the clearing in search for someone to accompany, it didn't take him too long until he spotted two potential cats to bother. His ever present smile slid on his face immediately as he approached both cats who seemed to be minding their own business.
”Good morning my dear clanmates! Looks like a good day to go hunting, don't you think?” he greeted loudly as he approached the younger warrior and even younger apprentice. The warrior looked younger than him which wasn't a punch to his pride at all! Totally not. Aspenpaw knew he should start wrapping up his training, he was far too old to still be an apprentice in the first place! He was sure he was almost done, he just needed to be assessed is all. The apprentice looked pretty young, probably still in need of a lot more training. Aspenpaw could help with that! He liked passing what he'd learnt on to others.
”What do you say kid, you mind accompanying me for a little hunting trip?” he asked, looking at the warrior and directing his questions to her first. Then he glanced at the apprentice who seemed to be annoyed. ”You are welcome to join too, kid. It would count towards your training”

Pikepaw was busy collecting a big bundle of bugs, all ready for his next battle arena. The plan was to surprise Bramblekit at some point with a real choice of candidates, but the real question was where to store them. He’d made real sure that he hadn’t picked out any nasty ones this time, he didn’t want his competitors having to be executed again by a warrior.
He was holding them all, some crawling over his head. He wasn’t really looking where he was going. Accidentally bumping into another cat wasn’t really a surprise. The bugs went in about a million different directions at once. Pikepaw’s jaw gasping in shock.
SPIDERPAW
Riverclan Apprentice | 9 moons | Lanky, amber eyed, blue-grey tabby she-cat with white paws, chin, and tail tip.
Heightened perception: Smell

Spiderpaw slipped into the clearing. She wasn't sure what she would do today. Would another warrior offer some training, perhaps? She was excited to get more training in. She knew that, perhaps she should ask Softsky about getting an assessment... but it had been a minute since she'd last talked to the warrior. Maybe she would-
The young tabby was unexpectedly knocked off balance. What had happened? Thankfully, she landed back onto her haunches instead of scrambling down onto the ground. She looked over in surprise, then tensed up as beetles and jumping spiders and who knows what else scattered around the grey cat that had run into her. Spiderpaw froze where she was as she felt a beetle crawling around on top of her head.
Now, interestingly enough, the quiet, nervous apprentice was not actually afraid of bugs. Maybe venomous bugs, but those were like a different species to her. It didn't change the fact that it felt weird when they crawled along her pelt.
Her tail-tip flicked back and forth as her eyes crossed to look up at the strange critter crawling onto her muzzle. It definitely wasn't the only bug crawling on her, she could feel more crawling around her back, and something else on her shoulder, but she didn't want to turn her head and accidentally send the one above her eyes flying. "Uhm...?" Spiderpaw glanced at the apprentice. Pikepaw. She remembered that he was freshly promoted. "Pikepaw... Right?" She mewed. "Can you... get this beetle...? I don't wanna hurt it..." She requested quietly as the insect settled on top of her nose.

Kitty Softpaws T2 -Inactive
Killer Aptitude T1 - Inactive LionHeart
---------------------
Caveclaw is a little caught off guard by the sudden praise.
Kits are so strange.
"Not... everything." She replied after a moment. It's really the only way she could think to respond.
Her ear twitches when Heronkit says he wishes he would be like her when he's older.
Once again, she's a little surprised.
"What's your goals, then?" She asked.
Kits will be kits, after all.
He/ Him / 4 moons / Riverclan kit Purrks: Just A Scratch [Inactive], Mind reader [Inactive]
Goals? Heronkit’s icy blue eyes narrow down to the ground while trying to recall his goals that he has wanted to achieve since kithood. He surely has many goals and plans for the future, but one is very obvious.
“I want to be a lionheart.” The tuxedo kitten determines. “I want to help the clan more than anyone has ever helped. I want to be a head lionheart!” He lifts his right forepaw and stomps on the ground, but his eyes gleam with excitement while looking back to the lionheart, yet he still doesn’t smile. He just prefers to keep his usual frown. “I want to be just like you.” Heronkit repeats.
"And... maybe spend a bit more time with Lichenkit. She really doesn't feel well after.. well..." Should he really tell her about his late father? And his missing mother? Oh, right. He no longer has any parents. What a pity. He doesn't want to be parentless.
Patchpaw turned his head towards the older apprentices. "I'll go. I need to get started on training anyways," they meowed, getting to their paws, and quickly move to Aspenpaw's side.

Caterpillarkit lay off to the side, watching the different cats go about their days, for each he made a pretend name with a pretend story. It wasn't like he knew them anyways, but making up stories was more fun than talking to people. Yeah.
WISP'PAW
wisp'paw is a large, striking cat with a snowy white coat. Their fur is long and thick, with a tendency to curl attractively at the ends. Their eyes are a pale, almost silver-tinged blue that seem to hold a quiet intensity.
As the sound of a voice slowly drifted to their ears, wisp'paws eyes slowly fluttered open. Gazing sleepily up at the tom cat before them...did they perhaps know each other and wisp nearly forgot due to over training. Upon closer look they sighed in relief when they realized that they hadn't met before. Wisp quietly waited for the other to speak before raising their head and replying in a soft sleepy voice. No no don't worry about it! I sleep to much anyways so its not a big deal. Their words said one thing but their half lidded eyes spoke a different truth. Perhaps it was best that they stayed awake.
I'm wisp'paw it's nice to meet you. I'm new to riverclan but i'm doing my best to adapt. Wisp smiled sheepishly. They weren't used to talking with others let alone having just been woken up. Yawning wisp took a moment to sit up their height difference..was something else. Wisp despite being younger was already the size of a warrior but maybe even a smidge but bigger. Curse genetics..I'm a walking giant around here.. Shifting over slightly they made room for the new comer to join them. apologies if i start to doze off at any point in time..im prone to eternal sleepiness sadly.
Seapaw
he/they - 13 moons
Go with the flow, Mind Reader
The white apprentice raised their head, and he breathed a sigh of relief as they told him not to worry about it. Thank goodness. He still felt a little bad - he certainly didn't like being woken mid-nap, so surely that was at least a little true for everycat. Plus, the new apprentice's eyes still looked so drowsy, like they could doze off any moment - should he leave them alone, and come back later? Oh, gosh maybe he should just apologise for even bothering them at all, and never talk to them again to avoid the awkwardness of it all... But, then the apprentice spoke again. Wisppaw. It was a lovely name. Okay, so they probably didn't hate Seapaw. That was nice. Plus their tone and face didn't look annoyed in any way, just... So sleepy. Perhaps Seapaw had kind of mentally overreacted.
Wisppaw sat up - far taller than Seapaw, who was pretty much fully grown at this point. Despite his lanky legs, Seapaw was roughly average height. Wisppaw, however, was quite tall indeed. "Oh, I'm Seapaw! It's nice to meet you." He mewled, with a soft smile. So, they were new to RiverClan. That made sense, considering he'd barely seen them around. It was always nice to have new cats in the clan - especially ones who were tall and pretty and GOSH. No, most importantly ones who were friendly.
He scooted over, as Wisppaw presumably made space for them. He blinked, as Wisppaw explained their tendency to doze off - ah, so that was why they'd been fast asleep in the clearing. It made more sense now. Not that he'd judge a cat that simply wanted to nap out in the open with no good reason - he'd just be confused. It was nice to know he wasn't the only apprentice that struggled to stay awake long hours - Seapaw was known to frequent the apprentice den for naps, though he was better at getting up in the morning nowadays. Still, Wisppaw seemed to be a bit more prone to it - Seapaw might space out a lot during conversations, but they couldn't imagine dozing off entirely. Oh - speaking of! He realised he'd let a momentary silence pass already, as his thoughts whirred about like shoals of fish. Mmmmm, fish... No, focus! "That's okay!" They mewled enthusiastically, "I think I'm prone to eternal daydremaing, so that kinda makes two of us." They giggled, hoping that much was evident in all the time they'd just spent thinking instead of speaking.
Marigoldpaw

"There will come a poet whose weapon is his word."
Purrks: Dreamwalker [ACTIVE] Chill of Death [ACTIVE]

Marigoldpaw hadn't talked to him in awhile, she hadn't really talked to anyone, which was truly a shame. She really appreciated Aspenpaw, even if he could be a little in over his head, added to the charm she supposed.
Orange paws felt like they were stinking into stone along with her bleeding heart. It felt a bit harder to walk, the ground was pulling her back, the air was too thick, the sound in her curled ears chewed between too loud and deathly quiet. Like she was walking through some sort of graveyard, yet the ghosts of those she lost sang back at her, begging to be remembered.
Aspenpaw was no ghost, Marigoldpaw was certain he'd be remembered as something influential and important in those history books, written in something that was more glorious than bloodshed, or rather something more merciful.
She knew her obituary would be written in flowers and stems. Somewhat fragile, maybe wilted, but still a form that can be seen and touched. That's what she felt like... All the time. Something in a weird space. So much had been lost, and everytime she swore a piece of herself was lost too.
Goldfish was gone, Jayfrost was gone, Rookfire had been gone for awhile. And even Marigoldpaw was gone. She wasn't sure when she disappeared, but she had. It had been a long time since she'd even used her words to speak. Today would change that, hopefully.
She spotted a smokey pelt in the clearing and tip toed up to it, as if any sudden movement would make him vanish into smoke like some magic trick. Except he wouldn't come back. There would be no, "psych!" Just boiled over emotions and way too many tears.
She prodded at his shoulder and smiled. "Uh... Hey there friend! How... How are you?"

Fallenspirit's large frame stood in the clearing, icy blues raking across the camp as he watched the bustle of Clan life go on as usual. The tom was finally seeming to calm down a bit. He wasn't feeling as crass as usual. Maybe it was the lack of prophetic nightmares that night. Yes, the lack of his parents dying screams surely contributed to his better mood. (OPEN!)

Wildfoxglove was surprised by the older apprentice. She nodded to Aspenpaw and thought it was a good idea to hunt for the clan. "Okay, where will we be hunting?" She meowed. "What are both of your names? I believe that I never interacted with any of you two...so that's why."
