once out in the general territory, it stopped walking and turned to the two.

"alright. if you can sneak up on your enemy, you can rake your claws down their rear, or you can leap up onto their back, but watch out for them falling backwards to crush you, leap off as fast as you can if they do that."

"you can stun your opponent, you raise your paw up, then bring it down on their head, works best with your claws sheathed, though.

with fighting larger prey or animals, or even smaller cats, i’d grab onto their scruff 'n shake them until theyre stunned.

if you can manage to grab onto an enemy’s limbs with your teeth, then you can scratch at them, ‘n you might have one less paw coming at you.

oh ‘n if you get pinned ‘n your hind legs are free, kick at your enemy’s belly. thats a fight-stopper right there.

‘n if you can, always fight with a partner, two sets of paws’re better than one. ‘n you get someone to watch your flank.

Nibblepaw was feeling nervous, to be honest. She didn't want to lose her paws! And she didn't want to hit the other kids, no, that would be mighty mean of him. But she wanted to learn, and be a great warrior, like his mentor! Oh she was excited to learn, but also nervous, and that was why she couldn't stop from nervously hopping up down, from paw to paw, upon the ground.
"I don't wants to be means and fights you, Mx. Lotus, but I don't wants to hits my brother neither. What does I do then?"

➳ Cedarpaw stumbled after Blacklotus, sleep still in his eyes. Then the topic of battle training came up, and he suddenly felt as if all his tiredness had faded away. He looked up at Blacklotus, straining to concentrate. Sneak.. rake.. leap up or off quickly.. and stunning.. hm. But the most intriguing thing was sparring.[ for him, atleast it was. ]


➳ Then he turned his attention to his sibling, Nibblepaw. “Snatch ‘em paws!” he repeated curiously. ”I don’t think I wannas hurt you either.. butt yes, we can fight together!” Cedarpaw leapt to his paws excitedly. Ah. But they’d have to ask Mx..?..Mx.Lotus, didnt they? But that would mean they had to fight Mx. Lotus.. hm.

➳ Hmm. Maybe if they practised enough, they would soon be the best warriors in the Clan! Yeah. Or maybe he was being ambitious. Hm. Ah. But then Nibblepaw spoke about not wanting to spar with either of them. Cedarpaw gave her a sheepish smile. “We’s ain’t hitting for real, Nibbles. Just doin’ a.. uhh.. spi..spar? Yeah, spars.”
