It's been a while since she had such good sleep. The memories of the horrid Leaf-bare had just barely faded from her slumbers. It was still haunting her dreams, but slowly, she was able to get over it- to the point that she was getting used to the feeling of falling asleep safely. Even though she wanted to stay snuggled up in her warm nest, Floodsight was reminded that there was somewhere she needed to be. The silverish cream coloured cat rose to her paws before giving herself a few good licks. Presentable- good. And once she was ready, the warrior stepped out into the soft morning hues of RiverClan.
"Duskclaw, morning~ hope your sleeps been well." Floodsight greeted her friend with her usual opener and a soft tone before turning to the creamed coloured apprentice with a small smile. The bright, outgoing nature of the apprentice brought a soft chuckle to Floodsight. Good morning, indeed. Though she'd never really interacted with most new apprentices, partially due to her disappearance, Floodsight was more than happy to make a new acquaintance. "Hello there, little one. Claypaw, right?"
Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! Claypaw felt like she hadn't slept a wink last night! She had, of course, fallen asleep as soon as she hit her nest. Swimming was more tiring than expected. But she just kept waking up throughout the night, expecting to see the sun peeking through the den's entrance. When it finally did, Claypaw sprang to her feet, and rushed out into the clearing.
Her fur still stuck up in places, due to having not cleaned it the day before. Should she? Something something about making a good impression for herself and her mentor. Oh, there was Duskclaw! No other cat near him though, so she guessed she could do that while they waited. Claypaw bounced over with a cheery, "Gooood mornin'!" She plopped onto the ground, and began to groom her pelt.
"Morning, Claypaw." He can tell how excited Claypaw was. An annoyed groan slipped out of Duskclaw Quite a few warriors weren't even up but here was Claypaw bouncing around. Maybe the bright and early morning was a bad time for training. He hoped Claypaw would be tired enough to at least not act like a kit.
Upon hearing Floodsight's voice Duskclaw sat up a bit taller. "Good morning, Floodsight. Like usual, could've been better." The difference in how he talked to Floodsight compared to every other cat was obvious. He hit one of Claypaw's sides to forcefully remind her about the whole behavior thing they spoke about yesterday.
Claypaw stopped her grooming session as another cat approached. Eh, she looked good enough. There weren't Any twigs in her fur and it all was more or less smoothed. She stood up, just in time to get forcefully nudged in the side. It was fine, barely even hurt! "That's me! Nice t'meetcha, Floodsight. Can't wait to learn how to fish from you two." She glanced at Duskclaw with a raised brow, either to ask if that was okay of if they were going soon. Knowing her, it meant both.

"That's always good to hear," She replied with a smile, flicking her ear in amusement at the tom's change in posture.
Woah- the little one suddenly got a shove on the side and it made Floodsight jump a bit. She opened her mouth to say something, but the little one seemed to be fine with it. Well, perhaps if that's their dynamic, Floodsight wouldn't need to say anything, but her friend should definitely tone it down before he gets called out for it. Nevermind that, as long as they were all good, it was alright- she hopes.
The silver cat nodded to Claypaw with a smile. "Of course, and I can't wait to hang out with you both. Let's get you all trained up to be the best fisher RiverClan's ever seen."
The long furred warrior turned to Duskclaw, tilting her head towards the entrance of the camp. "Lead the way~"

Caveclaw is a little caught off guard by the sudden praise.
Kits are so strange.
"Not... everything." She replied after a moment. It's really the only way she could think to respond.
Her ear twitches when Heronkit says he wishes he would be like her when he's older.
Once again, she's a little surprised.
"What's your goals, then?" She asked.
Kits will be kits, after all.

Gladepaw wasn’t used to cats like Mallowpaw. Most others filled silences with chatter, or asked too many questions too fast, or hovered in a way that made the air feel heavy and hard to breathe. But Mallowpaw… she didn’t press. She didn’t crowd. Her words were light, like a leaf drifting on water; never sinking too deep, never forcing anything. It was… strange, but not bad. The comment about her name being pretty made her ears twitch, a flicker of surprise darting across her face. She wasn’t used to compliments, either. Especially not ones said so plainly, like they were just facts rather than things to be weighed or questioned. She didn’t know how to respond, so she didn’t. Her whiskers twitched, and she dipped her head slightly. Granting the other molly acknowledgement without words. At the question about why she sat here instead of in the middle of camp, Gladepaw shifted again, her amber gaze drifting out toward the more open spaces beyond. She could hear the faint hum of voices, the rustle of movement, and the clatter of daily life that never quite stopped. “I… I get o-overwhelmed s-sometimes,” she admitted after a moment, her voice soft and careful, like she was testing the shape of each word. “It’s too loud a-and busy. I feel like… l-like I’m supposed to be p-part of it, but I can’t keep up.” She dug a claw lightly into the sand, watching the way it parted in slow, smooth lines. “Here, it’s q-quieter. I c-can think.”
She wasn’t sure why she said all that. Maybe it was the way Mallowpaw seemed so unbothered by the silence between them. Or maybe it was because she didn’t feel like she had to prove anything around her. Mallowpaw didn’t seem to mind that she stumbled over her words or that she sat still and strange like a stone in the wrong place. When the other molly asked if she could ask a question, Gladepaw hesitated. Her instincts flared a little, uncertainty prickling down her spine. But something in Mallowpaw’s voice was different. It wasn’t nosy, or sharp, or waiting to catch her off-guard. It was gentle, clearly asking for permission. That mattered. She nodded, the motion small but sincere. “O-okay,” she murmured. “You c-can ask.” Her gaze flicked up briefly, meeting Mallowpaw’s with the barest trace of curiosity hidden beneath the ever-present wariness in her eyes. “I… I’ll try to an-answer.”
