Raizel
Kittypet
Purrk: Silver tongue(active)
Questions first kindness later then. Fine with her. Raizel settled back down as the brown tabby did, as she expected to hold this conversation for quite a while if she was lucky. At the comment about her name she barely managed to hold back a scoff,
"Thanks.." sarcasm crept into her voice. Weird? Maybe by her standards but she would in time. That reminded her she should really catch this one's name...hmm.
Oh the story of her forced servitude, wouldn't that be interesting to tell.
"Well I wasn't born a kittypet, thank goodness, I was born in my mother's travelling group." Raizel began, nostalgia already seeping back into her senses.
"Rowdy bunch. Mostly comprised of me and my siblings and some others randoms who decided to follow my mother's beliefs...which were very questionable to be honest." Eyebrows furrowed as she remembered the traditions that her mother forced them to uphold...very questionable indeed.
The marbled tabby started to inspect her claws as she depved deeper into her life story.
"Things happened, though. Families can be awfully messy. All the arguments about who was right and who was wrong and this and that all grow old." Who was there to blame? Quite a few cats actually.
"Mother had a tendency to have tantrums and run off for a while as she usually did. One time she disappeared longer than usual and my dear baby brother wouldn't stop sobbing. It was terribly annoying so relented and agreed to go and retrieve her from her bad mood." Copper hues narrowed in annoyance at the memory.
"Unfortunately that would lead to my capture. For some unknown reason mother had wandered off to the twolegplace and one of those hideous creatures managed to corner and trap me." Spite filled her voice as she went on. "
Terribly selfish of my mother, really. Causing me to get trapped like that." Suppose she should have expected it for it was in character for her mother to only care about herself.
"I believe I only spent around 3 moons as a kittypet and I have no intention of running back to my former group. They weren't worth much anyways, so daft and arrogant." A bit like her but she begged to differ. Now, onto the next question(a rude one at that), did her charm compensate for her lack of sense?
"Well yes, I suppose so." the pretty tabby shrugged, not particularly offended by it becuase it was true. Oh wait, did she think she was charming too? How sweet.
Now for the big question, why did she want to join a band of cats she knew little about?
"Well, kittypets love to gossip and I've heard rumours of a group of fierce and powerful cats. Cats who don't take any nonsense and work as one. Cats who have a purpose." Hopefully her flattery would help her convince this cat, afterall,
"I wish to be apart of that. To prove myself as worthy of being part of something bigger. To having a purpose." Sincerity laced her melodious voice, overshadowing her otherwise sugar coated way of speaking. This was all true. If this intimidating beauty could offer her a motive for becoming more than she already was then she'd be sure to pay back the favour.
But she still hadn't answered for why she was ignoring the consequences of her decision.
"Even if I end up in a position I don't like because of my choice at least it will be my own. I would just have to push through because I had the freedom to chose and that is what I chose. Simple, I wouldn't have the right to complain." Raizel allowed a coquettish smile to return to her maw as she canted her head.
"So, pretty lady, what do you say? Do I pass to the second round of our interview?" By that she meant hunting to prove that she wasn't totally useless. Please, please, please...
